Hope Ojo · Ongoing · 62.5k Words
Introduction
Ariyah begins working at Rahman Group headquarters to prove she is more than a decorative wife. That is where she meets Cassian Wolfe the foreign billionaire investor with dangerous eyes and a voice that quiets her world. He is everything her husband is not present, protective, devastatingly gentle.
What begins as stolen glances and accidental touches soon turns into something reckless. Something forbidden.
Something that could destroy them both. Because Cassian isn’t just her boss. He is her husband’s business partner.
Her secret becomes a war fought in boardrooms and bedrooms. Her heart is torn between a man who claims to own her and a man who truly sees her. And when the truth threatens to surface, Ariyah must choose between duty that suffocates her… and love that could ruin her.
In a world where power is worshipped and love is dangerous, how far will she go to be free? And how much is she willing to lose?
Chapter 1
Aliyah POV
Ariyah Haleem learned the cost of silence the day it destroyed her life.
Her father’s office in Dubai smelled like antique leather, bitterness, and desperation. The walls were lined with awards older than her dreams, shelves heavy with trophies of a fading empire that no longer belonged to her father only to whatever miracle came next. And that miracle wore a man’s last name.
Rahman. The contract lay open across the black glass desk like a death sentence disguised as opportunity.
Ariyah stood with her fingers clenched so tight her palms ached. The words on the paper were forma. Clause after clause spelled out her obligation in clean legal lines: marriage, compliance, reputation, silence.
There was no love in it. Only survival.
Her father sat across from her with gray threading his temples where black once lived. The weight of failure pressed deep lines into his face lines she had watched form over years, not days.
“Ariyah,” he said quietly, voice stripped of authority and pride. Just exhaustion remained. She didn’t answer.
Because if she spoke, she would beg. And if she begged, she would break.
“You know what this marriage means,” he said, softer. “Without Rahman Group’s backing, we will collapse. Every employee. Every family tied to this company… ruined.”
Ariyah’s knuckles whitened. “And without me?” she whispered. Her father hesitated. That was the answer.
She stepped closer to the desk anyway. The pen lay waiting. Heavy.
She stared at the line bearing her full name each letter perfect, each curve merciless.
Signature line: Ariyah Haleem
Future: erased.
Marriage: arranged to a man she had never met.
Sacrifice: demanded by blood.
Her chest tightened as if someone had wrapped invisible fingers around her heart and was slowly squeezing the air from her.
No escape. No negotiation. She signed. Ink bled into paper. Just like her future bled into nothing. Her father closed his eyes in relief.
Ariyah didn’t. Someone had to stay awake through this nightmare.
The world changed shape overnight. By morning, she was no longer Ariyah Haleem. She was to become Ariyah Rahman.
The Rahmans owned half of Dubai’s skyline. Their money curved laws. Their influence destroyed enemies quietly.
And the man she was being handed to was rumored to be colder than the towers bearing his name. Zayn Rahman.
Power said he was ruthless. The press said he was untouchable. Society said he was perfect. Ariyah had learned more truth in silence than noise.
The wedding came too soon. Too bright. Too heavy. White silk wedding dress wrapped her body like chains disguised as luxury. Gold threaded through her veil like a crown she never wanted.
Cameras flashed. Society watched. And she walked. Not into love but into captivity.
Zayn Rahman waited at the altar like a man waiting for a business deal to finalize. No anticipation not even softness.
He was taller than she expected. His jaw was razor sharp, lips tight, eyes calculating behind a mask of calm control. His suit was cut from thousands, his presence from millions.
He looked like money. He smelled like power. He did not look like a husband. When she reached him, his gaze slid over her without reverence. No hunger or admiration. Just assessment and ownership being measured.
He took her hand. His touch was cold. Not cruel. Just empty. The vows were spoken and rings were exchanged.
Her fate sealed before hundreds of witnesses who clapped for a lie.
Their palace was not a home. It was a museum of riches. Marble floors too cold. Walls too tall. Silence too heavy. That first night, Ariyah waited. On silk sheets. In a room bigger than her childhood home.
Wearing white that meant nothing now. Hours passed. The door never opened. By midnight, she understood. She had married a wall. A cold, unmoving wall of money and masculinity. The second night was the same. The third followed. By the fourth night, she stopped waiting.
Zayn Rahman had not married her as a woman. He had acquired her as an asset.
I want to work she had told during during breakfast that morning. Zayn raised an eyebrow. Just one. “You don’t need to,” he said coolly. I can provide you with whatever you want.
“I want to,” she replied. Silence stretched like a blade. “Fine,” he said. “But understand this your presence in my building will not earn you attention.” Her voice was steady when she answered. “I’m not asking for it.” He studied her longer that time. Then dismissed her. It was the closest they had come to connection.
Rahman Group headquarters felt alive. Money vibrated in its glass nerves. Men moved like predators. Women like queens. Power like oxygen.
Ariyah stepped inside wearing a tailored navy dress that hid her fear and sharpened her resolve. She was not here as a Rahman. She was here to become Ariyah again. Until...
“Mrs. Rahman.” The voice stopped her heart. Not loud. Not arrogant. Just low. Controlled and alive.
She turned slowly And met danger wearing a suit. Cassian Wolfe. British. Beautiful. Billionaire. Investors whispered his name like a prayer and a warning.
He stood with hands in his pockets, posture easy, gaze anything but. His eyes were dark enough to be a promise and a threat at once. The kind of man who did not need permission to ruin you. And knew it.
His gaze did not acknowledge her ring. It acknowledged her. She hated the rush that tore through her body. Hated the warmth that pooled in her stomach. Hated how suddenly she felt seen. “Yes?” she breathed, too soft.
That made his mouth twitch. He stepped closer not invading. Inviting. “Cassian Wolfe,” he introduced. “We’ll be working together.” Something in his voice wrapped around her ribs and pulled. And without warning… Her life split down the middle.
Before him. After this moment. Her soul recognized trouble long before her mind caught up. Her pulse thundered. Her breath betrayed her. Her heart whispered something reckless
This man will ruin you. And part of her answered back let him. His eyes lingered just long enough to be inappropriate.
Then he smiled. Not wide or kind. It was dangerously slow. Ariyah Haleem was gone. Ariyah Rahman was claimed.
But something else… Something forbidden… Was just beginning.

I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."
Danielle Harris is the daughter of an overprotective police chief and has led a sheltered life. As a kindergarten teacher, she's as far removed from the world of Harleys and bikers as you could get, but when she's rescued by the sexy and dangerous Austin Carver, her life is changed forever.

Alpha Nicholas's Little Mate
What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.
My mate sees me and runs.

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The War God Alpha's Arranged Bride
Yet Alexander made his decision clear to the world: “Evelyn is the only woman I will ever marry.”
Falling for my boyfriend's Navy brother
"What is wrong with me?
Why does being near him make my skin feel too tight, like I’m wearing a sweater two sizes too small?
It’s just newness, I tell myself firmly.
He’s my boyfirend’s brother.
This is Tyler’s family.
I’m not going to let one cold stare undo that.

As a ballet dancer, My life looks perfect—scholarship, starring role, sweet boyfriend Tyler. Until Tyler shows his true colors and his older brother, Asher, comes home.
Asher is a Navy veteran with battle scars and zero patience. He calls me "princess" like it's an insult. I can't stand him.
When My ankle injury forces her to recover at the family lake house, I‘m stuck with both brothers. What starts as mutual hatred slowly turns into something forbidden.
I'm falling for my boyfriend's brother.
**
I hate girls like her.
Entitled.
Delicate.
And still—
Still.
The image of her standing in the doorway, clutching her cardigan tighter around her narrow shoulders, trying to smile through the awkwardness, won’t leave me.
Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldn’t care.
I don’t care.
It’s not my problem if Tyler’s an idiot.
It’s not my business if some spoiled little princess has to walk home in the dark.
I’m not here to rescue anyone.
Especially not her.
Especially not someone like her.
She’s not my problem.
And I’ll make damn sure she never becomes one.
But when my eyes fell on her lips, I wanted her to be mine.
Invisible To Her Bully
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
My Possessive Alpha Twins For Mate
My drunk stepfather remained indifferent, his weight suffocating, making it hard to breathe as my heart raced.
Suddenly, the door slammed open, and two figures burst in.
"Get off her!" a deafening roar echoed.
I didn't expect the twin brothers who'd bullied me at school to come charging in like gods to save me.
After my grandmother passed, I had to move in with my mom and stepdad, who treated me like a servant. I prayed every day for my 18th birthday to come, so l could leave and escape this broken home.
However, on my first day at my new school, l encountered the legendary twins everyone feared.
To make matters worse, the Moon Goddess revealed they were both my mates!
After helping me out with my stepdad, my twin mate cornered me, played with my hair, and whispered possessively, "You belong to us, our little mate..."
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.

The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
