Chapter 1
Twenty-five years of being overlooked.
My husband Steven prefers my best friend Liliana, and my son Terry and grandson Roy treat me like a maid.
I thought I could endure this life forever, but when Steven gave my dream trip to Liliana, I couldn't take it anymore.
I decided to leave and stop wanting their love.
...
Today is September 15th. My twenty-fifth wedding anniversary.
I woke up at six like always, slipped out of bed without waking Steven, and went downstairs to start the coffee. While it brewed, I wiped down the counters, swept the kitchen floor, and started a load of laundry.
Everything felt exactly like every other morning. Steven hadn't said anything last night. Hadn't mentioned it this morning either before he left for his early meeting. But that was fine. We were in our forties now. Maybe anniversary celebrations were just something you grew out of.
I picked up Roy's toys from the living room floor, and that's when I saw it.
A gift box sat in the middle of the coffee table, wrapped in beautiful paper with a silk ribbon. My heart kicked in my chest. I put down the toys and just stared at it for a second, almost afraid to touch it.
He remembered.
My hands were shaking as I carefully untied the ribbon and peeled back the wrapping paper. Inside was a slip dress, deep blue, the kind of fabric that slides through your fingers like water.
He actually remembered.
After all these years, after all the forgotten anniversaries and broken promises, Steven had gotten me a gift.
I grabbed the dress and practically ran to the bedroom. It felt expensive, real quality. When I pulled it on, it fit perfectly, like it was made for me. I turned in front of the mirror and watched the fabric move, and for just a second I saw the woman I used to be, the one from twenty-five years ago.
"Twenty-five years," I whispered to my reflection. "After the first year, we never celebrated another anniversary. But this year he remembered!"
The front door opened downstairs.
"Steven!" I ran out of the bedroom, my heart pounding. "Thank you—"
He was standing in the doorway, and the color drained from his face before rushing back in an angry flush.
"What the hell are you doing? Why are you wearing that dress?"
I stopped cold. "I found it on the table. I thought—"
"That's for Liliana!" He came toward me, his whole body rigid with fury. "It's her birthday today! You can't just put on someone else's gift!"
Everything went sideways. "But today is our twenty-fifth wedding anniversary..."
Steven laughed, this awful bitter sound. "Anniversary? Ainsley, we're in our forties. Are you seriously still hung up on this stuff like some teenager?"
I felt like he'd punched me in the stomach. I wrapped my arms around myself, suddenly aware of how stupid I looked in this dress. This dress that was never supposed to be mine.
"Take it off right now," he said, his voice flat and cold. "Then go buy an identical one to replace it. Liliana's a neat freak. She won't wear anything you've worn. And if you can't find one, get out of this house."
My throat was so tight I could barely breathe. "You promised me something twenty-five years ago. You said we'd go to Iceland for our honeymoon, that you'd take me to get proper wedding photos. But I got pregnant, and you said we'd go when the baby was bigger. You've said 'next year' every single year since then..."

"What?"
Before I can react, he scoops her up. Her small body fits easily in the cradle of his talons. For a split second, she looks startled, but not afraid. Her hand rests against one scaled finger, and she stares up at him with that same curious wonder, as though she’s already forgotten she was ever meant to fear me.
"Put her down," I try to command, panic threading through my thoughts. "You’ll hurt her."
"She’s ours," the beast insists, possessive and fierce. "Our snowflake."

It turns out, the fae stole my little brother. In his place? A pixie with boundary issues and a talent for home repairs.
I’ve spent my life taking care of everyone else. So when my baby brother is taken, I don’t hesitate. I walk straight into a faerie mansion and make a bargain with its infuriatingly charming master.
Kie is everything you’d expect from a dangerous fae, beautiful, political, and entirely too amused by me. Power wrapped in a smirk. Sensual, mischievous, and far too aware of the effect he has on people. He agrees to help me find my brother.
For a price.
Now I’m bound by a faerie bargain and navigating a world of glamour, manipulation, and ancient rules I definitely should have learned sooner, enchanted forests, political games, magical contracts, and a fae lord who treats seduction like a perfectly reasonable negotiation tactic.

Glamour is how he draws them in.
And apparently, they just don’t mix.

The Devil’s Contract: Kiss Me Like A Lie
The air in the ballroom was suffocating, filled with the scent of expensive wine and predatory Alphas. I felt the familiar, terrifying burn start low in my stomach. My suppressants were failing. I am an Omega pretending to be a Beta, and my fiancé, Reign Montgomery, is a powerful Enigma who believes Omegas are nothing but weak whores.
I rushed to the restroom, locking myself in, praying the scent wouldn't leak. My hands shook as I dialed for help, but the door handle turned. Reign stood there. He didn't look at my face; he grabbed my wrist, pulling it to his nose, inhaling deeply. His dark, soulless eyes bore into mine. "You smell different," he whispered, his voice dangerously low. If he finds out what I really am, I’m dead.
Reign Montgomery promised himself he’d never get involved with an omega. Not romantically, not physically, not even by accident. He doesn’t trust them, doesn’t want them, and refuses to let anyone become a weakness.
Soren Fox has lived his whole life making sure no one ever learns what he truly is. An omega pretending to be a Beta, fighting in underground rings just to survive and keep his sister alive.
But one contract drags them into a dangerous partnership of lies, heat, and power, and when Soren is kidnapped, Reign realizes too late that the omega he never wanted has become the one person he can’t live without.
Taste of Fate: The Vampire King's Human Mate
He reached for the back of my head and pulled me up just enough to reach my neck. When his fangs slid into me, the pain was instant, electric. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t think. My hands found his shoulders, clawing for something to hold. My legs kicked. Tears streamed down my cheeks.
He moaned against my throat as he drank, and the sound was devastating.

Taryn refuses to be anyone’s property.
Bobby has never been good at following rules.
And Kellan Stroud does not forgive what he believes belongs to him.
The road out of Sturgis may cost them everything first.
