Introduction
My father’s gambling addiction didn’t just cost us money; it cost me my freedom. Standing in the glass-walled office of Luca Romano, the city’s most lethal predator, I realized I wasn’t there to negotiate. I was the payment.
"You don’t own me," I whispered, my voice trembling as I stared into eyes cold enough to freeze hell over.
He stepped closer, invading my space, smelling of expensive cologne and danger. "Not yet," he murmured, his gaze dropping to my lips. "But you will be."
He offered me a contract: One year. Under his roof. Under his rules. If I refused? My father dies. If I signed? I belong to him. I signed my life away to the Devil’s Heir, thinking I was saving my family. I didn’t know that Luca didn’t just want payment. He wanted to ruin me, protect me, and consume me all at once.
Now, I’m living in a gilded cage, waiting for the moment he decides to collect his due. Because the Romanos never lose what they claim.
Chapter 1
Prologue
Sienna had always believed that rock bottom had a sound, some sharp, catastrophic crack that warned you life had officially split open.
And who knew that sometimes the truth will set you free.
And sometimes rock bottom was just music to my ears.
A shrill, persistent vibration cutting through the dark of a hospital hallway right where everything smelled like bleach, fear, and hopelessness. She’d been sitting for hours and her knees drawn to her chest on a plastic chair, forehead pressed against the wall and when her phone buzzed again.
Unknown Number.
The same number that had called twice already.
A chill skated down her spine, but she ignored it. She couldn't afford to care about mystery callers at one in the morning. Not when her father was somewhere behind those double doors, hooked up to machines that beeped like dying stars.
Sienna pushed her palms into her eyes, exhaling slowly.
Just breathe. Don’t break. Not yet.
A door slammed open down the corridor. A nurse strode out, scanning the hall before calling out, “Family for Andrew Vale?”
Sienna bolted upright. “That’s me.”
The nurse nodded, expression softening in that way medical staff reserved for people already balancing on the edge. “You can come in. He’s awake now.”
Awake was the sweetest ray of sunshine that I had ever seen ..
Her father laid there pale and bruised under the thin hospital blanket, tubes running into his arms, eyes glassy with shock. He looked smaller than she remembered and like the world had taken one good swing and he hadn’t recovered from the hit.
“Hey, sweetheart,” he rasped, forcing a smile.
It cracked her open anyway. “Dad… what happened?”
He swallowed hard, gaze darting away. “Just a misunderstanding.”
She stepped closer. “A misunderstanding doesn’t put someone in the ER. Tell me the truth.”
His breathing stuttered. “Sienna… I’m so sorry.”
“For what?”
The unknown number called again.
She ignored it, sliding her phone into her pocket.
For heaven sakes dad, what happened???
Her father shut his eyes like he couldn’t bear to watch her hear what came next. “It’s my fault. I thought, I thought I could double the big wins tonght . Win enough to pay off the first debt, then the second, and then...”
“Dad,” she whispered, stomach turning to ice, “what debt?”
His fingers twitched against the blanket. “Gambling debt.”
She closed her eyes. Of course. Of course it would be that. The thing he swore he’d left behind.
Her father looked at her with tears bright on his lashes. “I didn’t mean for it to get this far.”
“How far?” she forced out.
He hesitated. And that hesitation told her everything.
The phone vibrated again. Same number.
Her father flinched at the sound.
“Dad…” Sienna whispered. “Who do you owe?”
He turned his face toward the wall.
“Dad.” Sweet baby Jesus...
His answer was barely a breath. “The Romanos.”
Her heart stopped.
Not just any crime family.
The Romanos.
The name people whispered when they wanted to talk about power without summoning death. The family that controlled half the city, the ports, the trafficked secrets, the money washing through every nightclub and casino. The kind of men who didn’t give second chances.
The kind of men who didn’t give bodies back.
Her phone rang again.
This time her father whispered, “Don’t answer.”
But she did.
A breath so smooth, controlled and spilled through the line.
“Miss Vale,” a man said, voice silk and knives. “I’m glad you finally picked up.”
Her chest tightened. “Who is this?”
“You know who this is.” A pause. “Your father borrowed money. A substantial amount. Money the Romanos expect to be paid.”
Her pulse pounded in her ears. “He can’t pay. He’s hurt, he’s in the hospital...”
“I’m aware,” the voice replied coolly.
Her blood turned cold. “You… you did this?”
Another pause. “Your father was given many warnings. He chose to ignore them.”
She glanced toward her father. His shoulders shook.
“Please,” she whispered, “he’s sick. He didn’t mean...”
“Intentions are irrelevant. Debts are paid, one way or another.”
“You’re heartless,” she choked. Have some faith or even Courage for my dad while he is laying up in that bed,
Not knowing what is going to happen next ..
“That has been said of us,” he replied, almost amused. Then his tone sharpened. “But you have one advantage your father does not."
Her breath caught. “What advantage?”
“You.”
Her skin prickled.
“You want payment,” she said slowly, “so come take it.”
There was a low chuckle, dark and knowing. “You have courage. That will either save you or destroy you.”
Then the call went dead. And with that she screamed you fucking PIG!!.
The silence afterward tasted like salt water, with blood added to it..
Her father reached for her hand with trembling fingers. “Sienna… don’t. Don’t go to them. I’ll figure something out. I’ll....” Your debit is my debit...
“You can’t even stand up,” she whispered, tears burning her eyes. “Dad… whatever you did, whatever you owe… they’re not going to let you walk away.” It's either it's paid back with cash or myself ....
He broke then.
Truly broke.
“I’m sorry,” he sobbed. “I’m so sorry.”
She cupped his face. “Stop. It’s done. I’ll take care of it.”
“No,” he pleaded, gripping her wrist weakly. “You don’t understand what he is.”
“Who?”
“Luca Romano,” he whispered, voice shaking like the name itself was a knife. “He’s… he’s not like the others. He’s cruel. Calculated. He never forgets. He never forgives.”
And he is an absolute PIG! I know who exactly he is..
Her heart thudded.
Luca Romano.
The Devil’s heir.
A man rumored to be as beautiful, and handsome like a santuary just as he is lethal of a man who turned obedience into power, silence into loyalty, and disobedience into bodies. And getting his way to anything he wants....
“He’ll destroy you,” her father whispered. “Please don’t go.”
But what choice did she have?
If she didn’t face him, he wouldn't send men. If she didn’t speak for her father, he would die, slowly, painfully, publicly.
Sienna stood slowly, wiping her tears with the back of her hand. “Dad. Look at me.”
He forced himself to.
“I’m not going there to die,” she said, voice steady, surprising even herself. “I’m going to end this.”
“You don’t know what he’ll want.”
“Then I’ll find out,” she whispered.
The nurse peeked in. “He needs rest, miss.”
Sienna nodded.
Her father’s hand clung to hers until she gently pulled free.
In the hallway, she leaned against the wall, exhaling shakily. The fluorescent lights buzzed overhead, too bright, too cold. The hospital was empty at this hour, shadows stretching long across the tile floors.
Her phone buzzed one final time, this time a text.
From: BLOCKED
You have until midnight tomorrow, Miss Vale. Don’t make me come find you.
A tremor rolled through her. With goose bumps lining her arms..
Anger followed.
She walked outside into the night air, the sky heavy with city fog. The streetlights flickered like dying matches, reflecting off rain-slick asphalt. Her breath curled in front of her, small ghostly clouds.
Fear gnawed at her.
But something else rose with it.
Resolve.
If the Romanos wanted payment, they would get it.
But she would not bow.Not to No Man with I bow... Fuck that sir..
Sienna lifted her chin, eyes hardening.
“If the Devil wants his due,” she whispered into the cold midnight air, “he can look me in the eye when he takes it.”
NOnce and for all...
She didn’t know then that Luca Romano was already watching her.
That her decision had just written the first line of her damnation.
That the Devil didn’t just want payment,
He wanted her.
And he never lost what he claimed.

On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The War God Alpha's Arranged Bride
Yet Alexander made his decision clear to the world: “Evelyn is the only woman I will ever marry.”
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
Someone... please...
