Introduction
Not because I was pushed.
Because I jumped.
In this city, mercy is weakness and love is leverage. I learned that early. So I became something else. Something colder. Cleaner.
I leave a mark when I finish a job — a blackened halo split in half, one wing burned away.
Even angels fall.
The contract arrived in an obsidian envelope.
Three names.
Three rulers of the underworld.
The Obsidian Triarchy.
Malakai. Soren. Cassian.
Untouchable. Unbreakable. Unified.
The instructions were simple:
Eliminate all three. Make it public.
The payment was enough to disappear forever.
I’ve never turned down a contract.
So I did what I do best.
I got close.
They let me into their empire thinking I was a weapon they could use. Muscle. Strategy. Violence on demand.
Malakai watched me like he already knew my secrets.
Soren looked at me like he wanted to set them on fire.
Cassian studied me like I was a variable he hadn’t solved yet.
They were supposed to be monsters.
Cold. Heartless. Brutal.
They are.
But they’re also something worse.
Aligned.
And when three powerful men move as one, you don’t break them apart.
You get pulled in.
I was hired to destroy them.
Instead, I’m starting to wonder if I was meant to fall with them.
And if I do—
This city won’t survive what we become.
Chapter 1
Seraphina POV:
It’s late at night as I hunch over the roof top zeroing in on my target. A tall lanky built guy with shaggy hair. He looks to be in his mid thirties. A rising player in the underworld. He’s been rising up pretty fast. Enough for someone to want him out of the game completely.
Today he is trying to broker a deal with the infamous Obsidian Triarchy. He’s meeting them at one of their warehouses on the south side.
They are known to be the most feared men in the city. Ruling over it with an iron fist. Ruthless as can be. No one dares to challenge them, and the ones that do usually end up in a grave.
I closely watch him through my scope walk up to the side of the building. On the outside he looks calm. If you look closely though he is starting to fray. A bead of sweat runs down his forehead just as he turns towards the door. Just as he turns, I turn my safety off and I pull the trigger. It cuts through the air hitting him straight in the temple as he falls to the ground.
I sit my gun down carefully and send an encrypted message to my client.
“Target eliminated”.
Almost immediately they respond with
“Payment sent. Nice working with you.”
I make my way over to the body making sure no cameras catch my movements and I dip my fingers in his blood and paint a cracked halo with one wing the other burnt off.
After finishing my signature I hide in the shadows making sure they receive my message. I want them to know that I am close by.
As soon as they see it they will know “the fallen” is near. My reputation follows me everywhere I go. There hasn’t been a job that I have failed. I was trained half my life to be the killer I am. To make sure every move I make is executed perfectly.
Fifteen minutes go by and I see three figures exit the warehouse. Followed by multiple men behind them. This must be the Obsidian Triarchy. I can’t make out their faces in the dark but the way the air suddenly shifts I know I am right.
I grab my things and make my way back to my motorcycle five blocks down. I hop on and start the engine, peeling out into the street heading to current hideout. Another one marked off the list.
I’ve been in this field of work since I was twelve years old. Bouncing foster home to foster home since I was two I’ve had to learn to protect myself. Every new home I entered seemed to have men who thought they owned and controlled me. Treating me as if I was their property. Selling me off to their friends to use as well. I do not bow to anyone now. The men who used to beat and abuse me now tremble at the mention of my name.
I earned my reputation one body at a time. Thanks to the man that took me in when I was twelve. He trained me to be the weapon nobody seen coming.
Calculated. Cold. Precise.
I will always be thankful for the gifts he gave me.
I’ve never hesitated in the thirteen years on the job. No feeling guilty. No regrets. Just precision.
There has been many people try to take me out. Not one has ever left with their life. The world has made me the killer I am. I show no mercy because none was ever showed to me. I may have fallen but I have always gotten back up.

The Contract Wife: Marriage Of Malice
He didn't finish. He didn't need to.
I didn't tell him to stop.
Instead, my fingers curled into his shirt, clutching the fabric as though it was my only anchor. Something in him snapped—something he had been holding back for too long. His mouth found mine in a kiss that wasn't tender, but hungry, desperate.
I gasped into him, his hand sliding up to cup my jaw, holding me as if afraid I might vanish.
"You drive me insane," he breathed against my mouth, his lips trailing to my throat. "I can't lose you, Ella. Not you."
My head fell back, a soft sound escaping me as his fingers memorized my waist. My anger melted beneath his desperation.
"James..." I whispered, more plea than protest.
His hand caught mine, fingers threading together tightly. "I'll bring him back. I swear it. Just... don't turn away from me. Please."
The word please—low, ragged, almost broken—undid me more than anything else could have.
Ella never imagined she would marry the man she had secretly loved for years in such a way.
When her brother Theo faced twenty-five years in prison for massive embezzlement, the ruthless business tycoon James Lancaster offered her a deal: marry him in exchange for her brother's freedom.
This wasn't a fairy tale proposal, but a carefully orchestrated revenge. Because in James's heart, Ella was the culprit who had killed his sister Cecilia. He wanted her to pay the price—to atone with a lifetime of suffering.
The Alpha Who Hated Me
"Why isn't it working?" he demands.
"Because it's real," I whisper. "Whether you want it or not."
"Then I'll make it clear another way," he says.
He turns to address the entire cafeteria. His voice carries to every corner of the room.
"Let me be perfectly clear," he announces. "She's not my mate. She's not my anything. She's just a sad little girl who needs to learn her place."
The silence that follows is deafening. Hundreds of students stare at me with pity. With disgust. With relief that they're not in my position.
I sit there shaking. My wolf curls up in a corner of my mind and whimpers.
But he's not our mate anymore. He made that clear.
He's nothing to me.
She came to survive. He was born to rule. Fate made them mates. And that’s where the nightmare began.
Evangeline has spent her whole life on the edge, unwanted, unclaimed, and surviving in the shadows of Crescent Moon Pack. A omega by blood and an outcast by choice, she’s learned to keep her head down and her scars hidden. But when her dying uncle asks her to enroll at Blackclaw Academy, a school built on bloodlines, brutality, and unforgiving rules..... she agrees. For him, not for herself.
She expected whispers. Glares. Even cruelty.
What she didn’t expect was Ronan Nightbane.
BRUISED LOVE
The safe dorm.
The boring dorm.
What he got instead was Maverick Hale campus menace, underground street fighter, walking bruise factory, and the last person he ever wanted anywhere near his neat piles of textbooks.
Maverick doesn't care that he's broke.
or in arrears with his fees.
Or one wrong move away from getting kicked out.
He’ll graduate out of sheer spite—he refuses to give his estranged, homophobic father the satisfaction of calling him a failure.
He definitely doesn’t care about the determined, overachieving half-Indian nursing major he’s stuck sharing a room with…
Until Bodhi becomes the only thing keeping him in school.
His tutor.
His healer.
His undoing.
And when Maverick stumbles into their dorm one night with a knife wound and Bodhi stitches him up with shaking hands and a breaking heart…
no longer can that be denied.
Opposites weren’t supposed to collide this way.
But they did.
Hard.
Falling for my boyfriend's Navy brother
"What is wrong with me?
Why does being near him make my skin feel too tight, like I’m wearing a sweater two sizes too small?
It’s just newness, I tell myself firmly.
He’s my boyfirend’s brother.
This is Tyler’s family.
I’m not going to let one cold stare undo that.

**
I hate girls like her.
Entitled.
Delicate.
And still—
Still.
The image of her standing in the doorway, clutching her cardigan tighter around her narrow shoulders, trying to smile through the awkwardness, won’t leave me.
Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldn’t care.
I don’t care.
It’s not my problem if Tyler’s an idiot.
It’s not my business if some spoiled little princess has to walk home in the dark.
I’m not here to rescue anyone.
Especially not her.

She’s not my problem.
And I’ll make damn sure she never becomes one.

COLD (Ruthless Player)
“Please… Nick, wait.” He pulled out, thrusted back in. “How much? Twenty thousand? Fifty? Hundred?” With every question, he thrust harder and harder. My neurons are frying with the confusing feeling in my brain. Torn between pleasure, fear, and panic. I couldn't utter a single sentence to save my life.
His cold eyes pinned me in place while he plundered my body with deep thrusts, which only added to my confusion. My dumb body mistook the mixed signals, my pussy becoming even wetter than before.
“I hope she'd paid you well, because I'm going to fuck you all night long, hard,” he growled. “Sleep, then do it all over again. I want to feel you come for me, Andrea, want to feel you squeeze my cock, milking me.
Begging for me to give you the high only I can, I'm going to fucked you until I fuck all my wife's money's worth, I want you to remember how hard I took you while you're meeting her.” I sobbed, moaned, and tried to scramble out under him.
“No, please…Nick, let….let me explain.” Nick abruptly pulled out. His eyes were cold but hooded.
