Introduction
Chapter 1
Lyra's POV
The night I regained my hearing, I discovered my boyfriend's affair with my best friend.
Twenty minutes earlier, I had been sitting at my vanity waiting for Kael to return, but as the clock on the mantelpiece ticked past midnight, the apartment door still showed no signs of opening.
Suddenly, the howling of wind reached my ears.
I could hardly believe what I was hearing—after losing my hearing completely three years ago due to accidental poisoning during a bloody coup, I never imagined the Moon Goddess would bless me again and restore this ability.
I opened my mouth tentatively, speaking in a small voice, and only when I heard my own clear sound did I truly awaken from this dreamlike state.
I could actually hear!
I couldn't wait to call Kael and share this miracle with him.
Then I heard footsteps outside the door—his footsteps—and joy flooded through my entire body.
I prepared to surprise him, to greet him with this incredible news.
I walked toward the door, my bare feet silent on the hardwood floor, reaching out to grasp the doorknob, when the voices outside made me freeze—low, intimate, and he wasn't alone.
"She's asleep," Kael said, his voice carrying a tenderness he had never used with me. "I put the powder in her milk this afternoon. She won't wake until dawn."
"Good." A second voice responded, one I recognized—Mira, my only friend, the nun who always spoke in gentle words.
"We can't risk her hearing us, Kael."
"She's deaf, Mira, not blind," he said, the mockery in his tone making my stomach churn.
Mira laughed, the sound like silver bells shattering on ice. "She's so pitiful. Two miscarriages, and she still doesn't know what really happened to her children."
Those words carved themselves into my bones, nearly making my legs give out beneath me.
Those two times I had felt life stirring within me, only to end in pools of blood.
At the time, the healers had said it was because of my weak bloodline, and Kael had held me saying it wasn't my fault, that next time would be different.
"The apothecary says one more transfer should do it," Mira continued, the rustle of clothing accompanying her words. "One more of her children as a catalyst, and I'll be able to conceive our child."
Inside me, my wolf Selah awakened, a low growl reverberating through my bones.
She threw herself against my ribcage, full of fury, howling to tear apart the woman who had stolen the lives of our children.
I pressed my palm flat against the door, every muscle locked in place, resisting Selah's desire to shift.
Not now, it's not time yet!
"We need to get her pregnant again," Kael said, his voice full of calculation.
"You haven't actually fallen for her, have you?" Mira said, her tone carrying that coquettish lilt, the kind of voice that could make a man's bones turn to jelly—one I had never learned to use.
"How could I?" His certainty was like a knife sliding between my ribs.
"But you know how much those old fools value bloodlines," Kael complained with some irritation.
"Once you successfully cure your infertility, I'll declare you the true Luna of Red Fang. As for her... after she gives birth to the next one, her usefulness will end there."
Selah howled within me, crashing against my consciousness with such violent force that I bit through my lip and tasted blood.
She wanted me to go out there, wanted them to know exactly what bloodline I carried.
But I held her back.
Letting them die too quickly would be a mercy—they deserved a far more miserable end.
The sounds outside changed as Kael pressed Mira against our door, the very door behind which I stood.
"Right here?" Mira's voice came with gasps. "What if the drug isn't strong enough and she suddenly wakes up and smells us?"
"Relax, the Nightfall I've been feeding her has been suppressing her wolf. She can't smell anything," Kael said, his words blurred by the wet sounds of lips and tongues.
"Even if we rolled around in her bed, she wouldn't know."
Nightfall.
His words shattered my heart completely—it was a suppressant that made werewolves docile, numbing the senses, imprisoning the beast within. He had been poisoning me all along.
This explained why Selah had seemed so distant these three years, why my lupine instincts had become so dull.
The sounds intensified, unmistakably the sounds of copulation, and I stood there listening to my supposed mate fucking my supposed friend, separated only by a door panel that divided us.
I wanted to walk away, but my legs seemed frozen in place, unable to move. Some masochistic part of me needed to hear all of this, needed this pain to become raw and bloody, to become something I couldn't avoid.
"Kael, tell me," Mira gasped, "who makes you feel better? Me or her?"
"You, always you. She's as boring as a corpse in bed, Mira. No fire, no passion. Half the time I have to get drunk just to get through it."
His voice was full of disgust and mockery.
Something inside me cracked open, not my heart this time, but something deeper—something about the person I had tried to become.
The girl who had fled her father's palace, abandoned her birthright and bloodline, thinking that becoming small and safe and ordinary would bring happiness.
That girl died in the moment her mate copulated with his lover against the door panel.
When the door panel finally stopped shaking, I regained consciousness.
My limbs no longer seemed to belong to me as I walked back to the bedroom and sat on our bed, staring at my trembling hands.
In the mirror was someone I barely recognized—tear tracks cutting through makeup, amber eyes turned cold.
I wiped at my reddened eye sockets and buried my face in the pillow.
Moonlight silvered the wooden floor as I remained silent in the darkness, letting the cold seep into my marrow.
Five years ago, my father's cold and merciless decree, the weight of a crown I never wanted, the shackles of a marriage arrangement made when I yearned for nothing but freedom—all of it drove me to flee the Silver Moon pack.
I was eighteen that year, standing in my father's study, hearing him speak the words that would shatter my world.
"Lyra, you will marry Orion Blackwood."
Not a question, not a discussion, but a judgment as absolute and incontestable as pack law itself.
Orion, the Alpha King of the Northern Territory, the man I had observed from afar at pack gatherings since I was ten years old, whose presence radiated such dominance that even my father would lower his gaze...

I hate girls like her.
Entitled.
Delicate.

Still.
The image of her standing in the doorway, clutching her cardigan tighter around her narrow shoulders, trying to smile through the awkwardness, won’t leave me.
Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldn’t care.
I don’t care.

Alpha Nicholas's Little Mate
What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.
My mate sees me and runs.

A pack of their own
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.
Especially - Rule Number One - No Mates
When Draven meets Domonic, he knows that she is his mate, but Draven has no idea what a mate is, only that she has fallen in love with a shifter. An Alpha that will break her heart to make her leave. Promising herself, she will never forgive him, she disappears.
But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

Enemies will rise. Loyalties will shift. And the girl with no place in their world...might be the key to saving it.
Let Them Kneel
Cast out by her pack. Forgotten by the Lycans.
She lived among humans—quiet, invisible, tucked away in a town no one looked at twice.
But when her first heat comes without warning, everything changes.
Her body ignites. Her instincts scream. And something primal stirs beneath her skin—
summoning a big, bad Alpha who knows exactly how to quench her fire.
When he claims her, it’s ecstasy and ruin.
For the first time, she believes she’s been accepted.
Seen.
Chosen.
Until he leaves her the next morning—
like a secret never to be spoken.
But Kaelani is not what they thought.
Not wolfless. Not weak.
There is something ancient inside her. Something powerful. And it’s waking.
And when it does—
they’ll all remember the girl they tried to erase.
Especially him.
She’ll be the dream he keeps chasing… the one thing that ever made him feel alive.
Because secrets never stay buried.
And neither do dreams.
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
Invisible To Her Bully
Falling For The Biker: The Vice President's Girl
His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.
"It's wrong. Your brother would slit my throat for just standing this close. But tell me, little bird" his breath ghosts my skin, "are you trembling because you hate me… or because you've wanted this just as much as I have?"
Wren thought she'd buried the chaos of New Orleans for good—the clubs, the blood-soaked loyalties, the men who lived and died by their kuttes. Seattle gave her everything she ever wanted: freedom, love, a future.
But one betrayal shatters it all.
Dragged home by tragedy, Wren finds herself under the watchful eye of Ezra Jax—the Raven Reapers MC's vice president and her brother's best friend. He's infuriating, dangerous, and far too tempting for a man she should never touch.
And the deeper Wren is pulled back into his world, the more she realizes nothing about her past—or about Ezra—is what she believed.
In the chaos of gang wars, mounting debts, and old betrayals, he becomes the one constant. The more she fights him, the harder she falls. And the more he pushes her away, the more lethal his pull becomes.
Because in this world, love isn't sweet.
It's brutal. Bloody.
And it's bound to break them both.
When loyalty is everything and love can cost your life, will Wren risk her heart on the one man she was never meant to love?
