The Rogue King's Silver Wolf
Ava Bloom · Ongoing · 62.5k Words
Introduction
In front of the entire pack, Sera's mate rejects her without hesitation, throwing her away for a political marriage.
Humiliated. Heartbroken. Cast out like she never mattered.
With nowhere else to go, Sera runs to the one place every pack wolf fears most.
Rogue territory.
And that's where the Rogue King finds her.
Kade is ruthless, powerful, and feared by every Alpha alive. He should have killed her the moment she crossed into his land.
Instead, he discovers the truth no one else ever knew.
Sera Blackwood isn't a weak Omega.
She carries Silver Blood, the rarest and most powerful wolf bloodline in existence. A bloodline the Council has secretly hunted for centuries.
Now everything is changing.
The Alpha who rejected her suddenly wants her back. His wolf is losing control without his mate and he'll tear apart the werewolf world to reclaim her.
But the broken girl he rejected is gone.
Under the Rogue King's protection, Sera is awakening into something far more dangerous.
Now Sera must choose.
The Alpha who shattered her heart or the Rogue King who is teaching her how powerful she truly is.
Because when a Silver Blood awakens, war is inevitable.
And this time, Sera won't be the one who runs.
Chapter 1
SERA POV
"I, Thorne Ashford, Alpha of the Silvermoon Pack, reject you, Sera Blackwood, as my fated mate."
The words hit me like a physical blow, and I stumbled backward on the platform, my hand moving to my chest. Around us, hundreds of wolves from the Silvermoon Pack and neighboring territories gasped in collective shock. The Lunar Blessing ceremony, the sacred night when the Moon Goddess revealed fated mates, had never seen a rejection like this.
Not public, Not immediate, Not cruel.
I stared at Thorne, unable to process what was happening. His hand had just been holding mine. The mate bond had snapped into place only moments ago, that golden thread connecting my soul to his, warm, right and perfect. I'd felt it the second the moon reached its peak, and my heart had soared because after seven years of loving him from the shadows, fate had finally chosen us.
Except Thorne's face looked like he'd swallowed glass.
"Thorne…" I choked out, but he wasn't finished.
"I choose instead Vivian Clearwater, daughter of Council Elder Clearwater, as my mate and Luna of this pack."
A beautiful blonde stepped forward from the crowd, her smile sharp as broken glass. Vivian. Of course it was Vivian. She climbed the platform like she owned it, her designer dress probably costing more than my family made in a year. She took Thorne's hand, the one that had just been holding mine.
The bond between us was already fraying, threads of gold snapping one by one. It felt like being torn apart from the inside, like my chest was caving in.
Around us, the pack erupted. Some cheered, Vivian's supporters, the wolves who cared more about politics than fate. Others murmured in shock. Lanterns hung from ancient oak trees swayed in the sudden commotion, casting chaotic shadows across faces I'd known my whole life, Pity, shock. Someone, I think it was old Mrs. Chen actually looked away.
How had this happened?
Five minutes ago, music had been playing. I'd been standing with my best friend Maya, watching other wolves find their mates, never imagining that when Alpha Thorne's eyes locked on mine across the ceremony ground, it would be because the Moon Goddess had bound us together.
I'd loved him for seven years. Loved him through every girlfriend, every casual hookup, every moment he looked past me like I was invisible. Because I was invisible, just Sera, the Omega-ranked healer's daughter, too weak to even shift properly half the time.
And now he was rejecting me in front of everyone.
"Accept it," Thorne commanded, and his voice was arctic. His eyes, molten amber, the color I'd dreamed about were hard as stone. "Accept the rejection, Sera."
I should have. Every instinct screamed at me to speak the words that would sever the bond cleanly, that would let me walk away with whatever dignity I had left.
But I couldn't move, Couldn't breathe. The pain in my chest was expanding, growing hotter and hotter until…
Something inside me snapped.
It felt like a dam breaking, like floodgates opening after being locked for centuries. Power, raw, ancient and furious surged through my veins. My skin began to glow, soft silver light emanating from my hands, my arms, spreading across my entire body.
Thorne jerked backward, his eyes widening. "What…."
My wolf rose up inside me, but it wasn't the weak, submissive creature I'd always known. This wolf was massive, primal, made of moonlight and rage. When I opened my mouth to scream, my voice came out layered with power that made every wolf in the clearing drop to their knees.
Every wolf except Thorne, who stood frozen, staring at me like he'd seen a ghost.
Vivian collapsed beside him, her hands pressed to her ears.
"Impossible," someone whispered from the crowd. "Silver Blood…"
The silver light exploded outward in a wave, and I heard glass shattering, heard wolves crying out. The mate bond between Thorne and me didn't just fray, it shattered, sending shockwaves through the pack link that made wolves howl in pain.
Terror flooded through me. What was happening? What was I?
And then I was running.
I leaped off the platform, my body moving faster than it ever had before. Trees blurred past me. Wolves shouted my name, Maya's voice, my father's, even Thorne's but I didn't stop, couldn't stop, my chest heaving as silver tears streaked down my face.
I ran past the pack house, past the training grounds, past the borders I was taught never to cross. I ran until the pack lands ended, until I crossed into the forbidden zone between territories, the lawless area where rogues ruled and pack wolves wouldn't dare enter. My legs gave out and I collapsed in the dirt, my whole body shaking with power I didn't understand and pain I couldn't escape.
My chest burned where the bond had been. Even shattered, I could still feel the jagged edges of it, like broken glass lodged in my heart. And underneath that pain was something else, something silver, ancient and utterly terrifying.
What had that wolf said? Silver Blood?
I'd heard the term before, in old stories my grandmother used to tell. Legends about wolves who could challenge Alphas, who were hunted to extinction centuries ago because they were too powerful, too dangerous.
But those were just stories.
Weren't they?
That's when I heard the slow clap.
My head snapped up. A man leaned against a tree about twenty feet away, watching me with dark, assessing eyes. He was tall and dangerous-looking, with black hair tied back and scars crossing his throat. He wore leather and weapons, knives strapped to his thighs, a sword across his back and when he smiled, it was all teeth.
"Well, well," he said, pushing off the tree and stalking toward me like a predator. "What do we have here? A little Silver Blood, all alone in the big bad woods."
I tried to scramble backward, but my body wouldn't cooperate. The power that had exploded out of me had left me drained, shaking, vulnerable.
The man crouched down in front of me, tilting his head. Up close, I could see his eyes were a deep, midnight blue almost black. There was something predatory about him, something that made my wolf both wary and strangely intrigued.
"You have no idea what you are, do you?" he asked, his voice a low rumble.
"Stay away from me," I managed, but my voice came out weak.
He laughed, and the sound sent shivers down my spine, not entirely from fear. "Relax, little wolf. I'm not going to hurt you." His eyes glinted in the darkness, and I caught the faint scent of smoke and whiskey. "I'm Kade. And you and I are going to be very good friends."
"I don't…." I started, but then his hand shot out.
The world went black.

His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
Someone... please...

The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."

The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
