Introduction
“C-can’t breath,” the words finally escaped my mouth as I clawed at his fingers wrapped around my neck to let me go.
He slowly eased his hold on my neck just enough that I could make coherent sentences. “That should be enough for the little pet to answer my questions and leave a mark for my son to see.”
“I don’t know where or who I am other than my name and the fact I am a wolf shifter,” the words left my mouth. “I didn’t know anything about being a wolf shifter until I met Aidan and he taught me everything I know. I-I have no family and he insisted I come back with him. I swear I didn’t do anything to him.”
A sinister laugh escaped Gerald’s lips which were so close to my ear, his minty breath fanning my neck. “Of course, no one can fool Aidan and he’s not one to show mercy or pity to a stray which leaves me to wonder just what it is about you that made him make the choices he’s made.”
“He said something about me being his mate.”
The fate of the Lycans hangs in the balance and only one lycan can save them.
Waking up alone, naked and covered with blood, Jemila has no recollection of who or what she is, much less any knowledge of the Lycan community.
But after meeting Aidan, she's thrown into a world unknown and learns secrets of a prophecy that will break the Lycans forever if their saviour doesn't appear soon. But why then does she keep having dreams of the end of a community she's come to accept while trying to remember who she is? Is she the key to everything? The saviour the prophecy spoke of?
With jealousy thrown into the mix, will Jemila be able to remember who she is before everything crumbles and turns into another forklore?
Chapter 1
I kept running, the air thinning but I knew I had to keep running. Something wasn’t right. I wasn't sure what it was but my wolf had picked something up which was strange since I really had no idea of my past life.
Laughing to myself, I kept pushing myself harder and forced my legs to carry me. I wasn’t as fast in my human form as I was in my wolf form but that was okay, my sense of smell was still great as long as I focussed hard on it.
The smell of blood was suddenly so prominent that I had to stop myself mid-run to catch my breath. Breathing in the scent, I turned and began following the new scent but I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw what it was.
A guy with light brown hair was hunched by a tree with blood gushing out from his stomach. I had to control myself not to throw up at the sight of blood. This whole wolf thing was still new to me and I had to get used to it eventually. The guy’s head turned and his eyes held me in place as I felt my inner wolf fight to get out and go to him. He was radiating a strong energy that was pulling me to him but I forced myself not to go to him.
His green eyes were pleading, begging me to reach out to him. The greens of his eyes flashed black for a split second, sucking me into an unknown world of things I wasn’t sure I could handle yet.
“Help me,” he finally breathed and my legs moved on their own until I found myself kneeling next to him and helping him to his feet. His hand wrapped around my waist for support while the other held his bleeding wound, and something stirred within me but I pushed all feelings aside.
“Can you walk? I have a place not too far from here, I can take you there and help clean your wounds, though that's the best I can do. I can't heal you since I’m no doctor.” I was blabbering but I just couldn’t stop talking. He was the first person I'd seen in over a week.
“Don’t worry, I heal fast,” he said and smirked, showing a perfect dimple in his left cheek and my heart raced.
We walked back to my house but the entire time I forced myself not to look at him or even acknowledge his presence because it did something to me and I wasn't going to say anything to a complete stranger. Just because I didn't know who I was didn’t mean I was going to tell a complete stranger that I wanted to do dirty things to him and him to me. Gosh, being alone for so long did things to my head.
We finally got to my house and I left him on the couch as I ran to the kitchen to grab some water and clean his wound but when I returned, I stopped dead in my tracks because he’d taken his shirt off and was half naked. There was a half naked hot guy in my living room. My inner wolf was fighting with the human side, it wanted to rip into him and mark him for some reason.
“Staring is rude,” came his velvety voice and I snapped out of my thoughts to find him already staring at me with an arched eyebrow and that dimple visible. “I told you I would heal fast,” he said when I didn’t say anything and then proceeded to show me his stomach which to my shock was well defined with muscles and abs but that wasn’t the shocking part, the wound had scabbed up. Only blood was left muttered to his skin. His skin had a golden tan and he had rip lines creating a v-line all the way under his faded black ripped jeans.
“What are you?” I said taking a step back. Just who had I invited into my house? Humans can't heal that fast. “Who are you? Who sent you? What do you want from me?”
The guy tilted his head which made his hair cover his eyes as he looked at me head to toe. “You really have no idea who I am?”
“I don’t know what you are talking about,” the words came out shaky and my heart raced. “Who are you? Why are you here?”
Sighing, the guy lowered himself to the couch but still didn’t take his eyes off me. “You are strange, don’t you feel it? That pull that seems unexplainable but yet comfortable like it’s what you were meant to do, as if you finally found where you belong.”
His words weren't making any sense to me.
“Didn’t they explain anything? Anything at all? Who raised you?”
“Explain what exactly? I don’t know who you are or better yet, what you are.” I left out the part of who raised me since I had no idea.
The guy racked his long fingers through his hair messing it up and looked down. “This is hard,” he muttered to himself but I heard him. Looking back at me, he took a deep breath and his eyes held an unfamiliar emotion. I wasn't sure what it was but it was completely gone in a flash that if I hadn't seen it I wouldn’t have believed myself. “I’m Aidan, Alpha of the Black Wolves,” he said calmly and without taking his eyes from mine. “And you, are my mate.”
I couldn’t wrap my head around what he was saying. Alpha? Mate? Was that supposed to mean something?
“Wh-what are you saying?” The words came out forced. “How can I be your mate when I don’t know you nor myself?” I fell to the ground in utter shock as the world around me started spinning.
Aidan slowly stood up and walked over to me and knelt down next to me. He used his index finger to lift up my chin and then used his thumb to wipe away the stray tear that had unknowingly fallen down my cheek.
“I don’t know what they did to you but I’m here now, love,” he said, his green eyes turning darker as he stared into my eyes and soul. “I will protect you now and forever and never leave you alone.”
It was easy to believe his words without much thought but I knew better. I still had no idea of who I was, only that I was part werewolf and now Aidan’s mate. How did my life get so complicated? Just a week ago I was discovering I was a werewolf and waking up to an empty house with no recollection of my past life.
I felt Aidan wrap his strong arms around me and hug me tight, his scent was intoxicating, welcoming and I found myself getting lost in his cologne and in him. Being in his arms made me feel like I belonged. My wolf whined as she felt whole in his embrace, as if she had finally found where she belonged. Was this why she felt drawn to him in the first place? Because she recognised him? Or was it because she recognised him as an Alpha and had to obey him?
I don’t know how long we remained like that but when Aidan suddenly fell unconscious, I had to snap back to reality. Panic raised through me when I saw him lying there not moving and my wolf ached to have his arms wrapped around us.
Slowly rising to my feet, I used what strength I had to move him to the bed. I grabbed a towel and water and sat next to him on the bed. His temperature was abnormally high, for someone who bragged about healing fast, this was the complete opposite of it. Using the wet towel, I placed it on his forehead in hopes that it would help lower his fever and then I sat staring at him, my mind swimming with so many thoughts.
I wished I knew who I was or where I came from, but I couldn't remember anything. During the week after I woke up alone and lost, covered in blood, I had spent the first few days trying to remember who I was but nothing. And during the fourth day, I discovered I was a werewolf which came with its own surprises but I learnt how to control myself. I learnt to be okay being alone in the forest but now that someone had come along, it was as if something had been ignited within me.
Was I suddenly stupid that I didn’t want to lose him now? I know I just met him but something about him pulled me deeper into the unknown. His scent was intoxicating and not just his cologne but his wolf's scent.
Taking a deep breath, I gently touched Aidan's cheek and then forced myself to leave him. I went outside for a run. I needed to clear my thoughts and figure out what all of this meant. What I was going to do next and what it meant for me.
I pushed my feet harder as I felt the air in my lungs, everything felt better, not great, but better. My wolf yearned to come out and for the first time today, I listened to her and allowed myself to transform into my true form; my wolf. My bones cracked as they snapped and changed their form to accommodate my wolf form. But I kept going even though the cracking of my bones hurt like hell, not stopping until I was fully transformed.
My senses tripled now that I had transformed and it felt exhilarating. I ran faster and faster. Finally having enough, I ran back and transformed back as I approached my house. Still butt naked, I entered the house and froze when I spotted Aidan in the living room. Crap, I had forgotten I wasn’t alone anymore.
Aidan’s eyes turned darker as he took me in. “Sorry, I forgot I wasn’t alone,” the words came out and I tried to run to my room to get something to wear but Aidan was so quick that he blocked my exit. He towered over me, making me feel small and inferior compared to his large but well defined frame.
“You belong to me,” he growled loudly, which pissed me off but it seemed my body and I weren’t on the same page because it reacted to his every word as a shiver ran through me. "Mine."
Aidan took another step towards me and I took one back, he kept moving closer and closer and I kept moving backwards until my back hit the wall and I was trapped. “Everything about you drives me mad. I want you and I know you want me just as badly as I do.” He ran his fingers through my hair, down my face and then my nipples.
“I-I,” I couldn’t form any coherent words.
Move, push him away, run, do something, my brain kept telling my body but it didn’t listen. Instead, a shiver ran through me at his touch.
“I want you and I won’t ask. I always take what I want, but something about you makes me want to break my own rules. Something about you calls to me and I’ve never felt this way about anyone before.” His finger moved back to face, cupped it and lowered his head so our foreheads were touching. He closed his eyes, breathed me in before his lips were on mine, igniting a fire so hot it blazed and burnt everything in its wake.

The only person more curious than me is Blake Nyvas, tall, golden-eyed, and very much a Dragon. People whisper that he’s dangerous, warn me to keep my distance. But Blake seems determined to solve the mystery of me, and somehow I trust him more than anyone else.
Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s dangerous.

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.

His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.

Wren thought she'd buried the chaos of New Orleans for good—the clubs, the blood-soaked loyalties, the men who lived and died by their kuttes. Seattle gave her everything she ever wanted: freedom, love, a future.

In the chaos of gang wars, mounting debts, and old betrayals, he becomes the one constant. The more she fights him, the harder she falls. And the more he pushes her away, the more lethal his pull becomes.

It's brutal. Bloody.
And it's bound to break them both.
