Introduction
Adam Livingston belonged to the famed billionaire's club; an elite group of wealthy young men who were born into money. When his best friend betrays him and turns the club against him, he is thrown into a world of hunger and pain. To find his footing, he goes to Mathew Hussey; the most dangerous man in Boston, and he has a proposition: “Marry my daughter and I'm going to help you.”
When the girl turns out to be Veronica Hussey; his one-night stand, his world is thrown into chaos. He must find a way to protect his new family from harm and love his bride, and the baby.
Chapter 1
“Marry my daughter, then.” The low baritone of Mathew Hussey echoed in the silent room. The room was designed in a modern, functional style and reflected the man's wealth.
Adam blinked in shock, then did something crazy: he laughed, slapping Matt’s thigh.
“Are you kidding me?”
“No. I’m dead serious.”
He looked into his cold blue eyes and was chilled to the bone.
“Why would you marry off your daughter to your worst enemy?”
He raised his glass of martini and sipped slowly.
“Let’s say you are the man I want for Veronica. As incredible as it sounds, you are the only one that can handle her.”
He sipped his whiskey slowly and turned to stare at the million-dollar painting of a nude woman on the wall. They were in his penthouse office, and he was reminded of his financial mess.
“Handle her? You make her sound like some crazy bitch.”
He glowered at Adam, who pretended to pick a piece of lint off his designer three-piece suit. It had been hand-stitched by a tailor in France and cost a fortune. Adam had been named the city's most handsome man of the year five times in a row.
“Veronica is like fire; she will burn you if you try coming close.”
Adam chuckled and sipped the scalding whiskey. He knew Mathew had an only child, a girl who conveniently stayed out of the tabloids. She was probably some bossy prude, and he shook his head.
“I don’t want your daughter. She’s not my type.”
“Then, Mr. Adam, you will have to save yourself. If I must help you, this is what you need to do.”
“Damn you. You are ruthless.” Adam bared his teeth in a smile, realizing he looked just like a wolf—a big bad wolf.
“So are you, Adam Livingston. Your reputation precedes you.”
Adam stood up and straightened his creased clothes. He had been sitting with the wealthiest and most dangerous man in the city for an hour and longed for a bubble bath.
“Thank you, Mathew. I guess I have to find another way.”
Mathew laughed then, loud, throaty sounds that shook his big frame. He was a good-looking man with hawklike blue eyes that blazed with intelligence, a solid suntanned face, and a bald head that reminded one of a prisoner.
“There is no other way for you, Adam. You are quickly running out of cash. Soon you will be sleeping on the street with your handsome looks.”
Adam wanted to call his talk bullshit, but Matt knew better. The bank manager had called that morning, and just before his visit, he had gone to a pawn shop and sold off his diamond ring for some cash. He gritted his teeth, burning all over in rage.
“Damn you!”
“I don’t want to marry your daughter. Hell, I don’t even think I’ll like her.” He wanted to reason with Mathew. He needed a loan, not a wife.
“You don’t have to like her. You must marry her and possibly get me a son by Christmas. If you can do that, I’m willing to save your sorry ass from bankruptcy.”
Adam felt the blood rush to his face, and he tightened his fist. “What are you talking about?” he asked, bemused.
Mathew waved him to take a seat. “I’m fifty-seven years old, and I had a nasty bypass. I don’t think I’m going to live much longer. I need a son for my legacy.”
“You mean you want me to fuck your daughter and get her pregnant so you can have the son you couldn’t have?”
Mathew glared at him. “That’s a rotten thing to say, but yes, you are getting the picture now.”
“This is bullshit. I can’t accept this, and I think it’s a shitty thing to do to your daughter. Don’t you care about her happiness?”
Mathew narrowed his eyes at him, matching his rage. He scratched his jaw slowly and replied flippantly, “Love is fickle. She’s going to be fine having someone like you by her side. I’m afraid my daughter doesn’t take much interest in men.”
Adam stood up again and advanced closer to him. He was sitting on a revolving chair that cost six digits. “Find someone else to do your dirty work. I’m out of here.”
“Alright. I guess you’re ready for a taste of poverty.”
Adam glared at him, but the older man only waved him toward the door.
“This isn't over, Mathew.”
Mathew’s laughter followed him out the door. Adam gritted his teeth hard as he strode to the elevator. He had come seeking help, and the arrogant bastard had made a fool of him. He held his head high as he passed the bodyguards stationed outside the elevator.
They were dressed in black, and he could tell from the bulge in their clothes where their guns lay. He remembered his current situation and sniffed to push the tears away.
He was Adam Livingston. The tiger. He had adopted the name in the Leo Club because it suited him just fine. Now it looked like he was going to hide away in shame.
His troubles had started two weeks ago. When his assistant called, he had been living his best life on his private island in Paris.
“Everything is crumbling; come home.”
When he arrived home, he was gobsmacked as she regaled him with stories of his woes. Someone had broken into his factory and laced the drinks with cyanide. An intelligent worker at the factory had discovered it, but not before five people had collapsed after taking the beverage.
His safe had been broken into, and the family heirloom diamond worth millions of dollars had been stolen. His nightclub had been gutted by fire, and his company had been shut down due to an allegation of fraud.
Then he had seen... Damn! It hurt too much to even think about it.
Adam remembered that cold evening like it was yesterday. He had driven to Derek Lowe's private residence. Derek was his best friend and closest confidant from the Club. They had become friends in high school. They were on the school basketball team and had bonded at their elite private high school that catered to the very rich.
He parked his car in the underground garage and moved to the back door. When he climbed the stairs to the second floor, he was surprised to see Johnson standing guard in the corridor leading to his bedroom.
Johnson used to work on his security team. He was a diligent, ambitious young man, and Adam liked him. The twenty-nine-year-old spun around in shock and colored on seeing Adam.
“Mr. Livingston.” He kept his gaze on the floor.
“What the hell are you doing here?”
“I’m sorry, sir.”
Adam felt his ears ringing. Was this some sort of a joke?
“Fine. Where's Derek?”
Johnson glanced around nervously and kept his gaze to the floor.
Adam advanced slowly toward the armed man. “I’m going to see him. It’s a disaster. I need to talk to you.”
Now, this was getting serious.
Adam stood, hands akimbo, glaring at his ex-employee. “Is that his order?”
The lad nodded. “Yes. He warned me to make sure you never stepped foot here. He kept a guard downstairs, too.”
Adam whistled. He had slipped in through the back door and missed the guard downstairs. Why was Derek suddenly avoiding him?
“I need to see him, Johnson.”
Johnson pointed the deadly Automag pistol at him and shook his head. There was a trace of pain in his eyes. “I’m afraid you can’t see him.”
Adam took a step backward. “Hey.” He raised his hand as though he saw someone. Johnson turned around, and Adam kicked the gun out of his hands. He had weekly taekwondo training, so it was easy to pin the struggling man to the floor and knock him out with a single blow to his jaw. Johnson lay still.
Adam threw the gun into a flower vase and moved down the corridor to the bedroom.
“You animal!” he muttered as he saw the discarded lacy red panties on the floor. A leather skirt lay beside six-inch sexy black stilettos. At the door to the bedroom was a matching red bra.
He heard animalistic groaning at this point. He wanted to talk to his best friend; he needed answers. He pushed the door aside and stepped in to meet his biggest horror story.
Derek was thrusting wildly into a familiar redhead—Erica Kings, his girlfriend.
He had a proposal planned out for the weekend, and now this. They were both in the throes of passion, eyes closed in concentration. Adam settled into the couch and threw the black top on the floor. They had probably undressed in haste and taken action to the bedroom.
“I guess this is why you asked the bodyguards to throw me out.”
He spoke loudly to be heard above the din. The two lovers broke apart at the sound of his voice, and Erica had the decency to look remorseful. He focused on his best friend, the hurt gnawing at his heart.
“Adam. What the hell are you doing here?”
“I thought you were my friend. How wrong I was. You have my girl on your bed. Nice surprise.”
“Adam, I am…”
He glared at the beautiful, nude woman who started to speak, and she fell silent.
Derek chuckled wickedly and turned to kiss her on the lips.
“Erica is mine now. I'm going to ruin you, Adam, like you've ruined me all these years. How does it feel to have your world break apart suddenly?”
Adam dropped his jaw in shock. It was Derek behind his woes. “Why?”
His former best friend looked him deep in the eyes and said, “You always had the best pick, and I was only a fixture in your life—second best.”
“Second best? What the hell are you talking about?”
Derek stood calmly and wore a bathrobe over his nude body. “High school, the basketball team. The girls were crazy about you, and I was always standing next to you—invisible.”
“It’s not my fault the ladies didn’t like you. Is that why you are doing this now?” Adam snarled.
“You have no idea how much I hated standing beside you.”
Adam took a deep breath. “The attacks, the nightclub…did you do that?”
He held his breath, hoping.
Derek laughed. “I don’t know, man, but I can assure you it’s just the beginning.”
“Damn you, Derek,” Adam muttered as he dragged his thoughts to the present.
He suddenly realized that he would soon be roaming the cold streets, homeless, if he didn’t act fast. His best bet was Mathew Hussey. He was his biggest competitor and arch-enemy but also the man with enough money to save his ass.
It seemed like he was going to be screwed soon.
He was heading for the elevator doors when he bumped into something soft. He swore aloud as he snapped back to reality.
A woman was bent over some papers, swearing as she picked them up from the tiled floor.
“Can you please learn to keep your eyes on your path, mister?” she flung at him.
He drank in her look and felt better. She wore a pair of black skinny jeans that showed off her great thighs and ample butt. A white shirt molded against her rosy skin. Her boots were tasteful and expensive. She had the most beautiful black hair piled up in a ponytail.
Who was this damsel? She straightened from the floor, and he felt a kick. Like he had seen her before.
“You bumped into me, and I think you should apologize.”
He saw her eyes widen with fury. Her blue eyes were huge, and he felt he would drown in their depth.
A familiar voice rang out behind him just before she could get her retort out.
“Adam, I see you’ve met my beautiful daughter, Veronica.”
His daughter? Hell no.

When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."

Alpha Nicholas's Little Mate
What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.
My mate sees me and runs.

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
Falling for my boyfriend's Navy brother
"What is wrong with me?
Why does being near him make my skin feel too tight, like I’m wearing a sweater two sizes too small?
It’s just newness, I tell myself firmly.
He’s my boyfirend’s brother.
This is Tyler’s family.
I’m not going to let one cold stare undo that.

I'm falling for my boyfriend's brother.
**
I hate girls like her.
Entitled.
Delicate.
And still—
Still.
The image of her standing in the doorway, clutching her cardigan tighter around her narrow shoulders, trying to smile through the awkwardness, won’t leave me.
Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldn’t care.
I don’t care.
It’s not my problem if Tyler’s an idiot.
It’s not my business if some spoiled little princess has to walk home in the dark.
I’m not here to rescue anyone.
Especially not her.
Especially not someone like her.
She’s not my problem.
And I’ll make damn sure she never becomes one.
But when my eyes fell on her lips, I wanted her to be mine.
Invisible To Her Bully
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
My Possessive Alpha Twins For Mate
My drunk stepfather remained indifferent, his weight suffocating, making it hard to breathe as my heart raced.
Suddenly, the door slammed open, and two figures burst in.
"Get off her!" a deafening roar echoed.
I didn't expect the twin brothers who'd bullied me at school to come charging in like gods to save me.
After my grandmother passed, I had to move in with my mom and stepdad, who treated me like a servant. I prayed every day for my 18th birthday to come, so l could leave and escape this broken home.
However, on my first day at my new school, l encountered the legendary twins everyone feared.
To make matters worse, the Moon Goddess revealed they were both my mates!
After helping me out with my stepdad, my twin mate cornered me, played with my hair, and whispered possessively, "You belong to us, our little mate..."
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
