Coexisting on a Deserted Island
Stephen · Completed · 468.4k Words
Introduction
Maybe I've just been unlucky lately. Yesterday, I got fired, and today, I survived a plane crash and ended up on a deserted island with no cell signal. To my utter disbelief, not only did I run into my attractive colleague on the island, but I also encountered the boss who framed me.
Chapter 1
The bright blue sky, teeming with noisy seagulls, and the rhythmic crash of waves against the shore pulled me from sleep. I rubbed my aching head, groaning, "Wasn't I on a plane to…? How the heck did I end up here?"
My name's Alex Smith, just your average Joe working a nine-to-five. Yesterday, a couple of coworkers threw me under the bus, and my boss canned me without even hearing my side of the story. Apparently, I leaked company secrets. Yeah, right.
I busted my hump for that company, and that's the thanks I get. I was furious, but what could I do? I booked a trip to clear my head. Talk about bad luck. Fired one day, plane crashes the next.
Seriously though, where am I?
Squinting against the sun, I took in my surroundings. Endless ocean in front, dense jungle behind. The island stretched out on either side, merging with the sea. This place was huge.
The fact that I woke up in the water meant the plane went down in the sea. But there was no sign of wreckage, no other survivors. Rescue wasn't likely. Time to get my act together.
I hauled myself out of the water, my limbs screaming in protest, and stumbled toward the beach.
"Hello? Is anyone out there?" A faint female voice drifted on the air. I strained my ears, trying to pinpoint the source.
"Hello? Please help! I can't hold on much longer!" It was coming from the sea, from behind a nearby reef. I hesitated. I'd heard stories about sea monsters mimicking a woman's voice to lure unsuspecting men to their doom. Figures. My luck was that bad.
I covered my ears, trying to block out the cries. But the voice was like a splinter in my brain, the more I tried to ignore it, the deeper it dug.
Then the cries turned to soft sobs, a sound of utter despair. I'm a sucker for a damsel in distress. My ex used to give me grief about it.
The sobbing grew weaker, like the person was fading fast.
Screw it. I marched toward the reef. In broad daylight, monster or not, I'd face it. If it was another survivor, I couldn't just leave her to die. Besides, two heads are better than one in this situation.
Following the sound, I saw a girl floating facedown, clinging to a life jacket. She looked too weak to even turn over, nearly submerged, just barely holding on to hope. Lucky for her, I showed up.
She heard my approach and stopped crying. "Is someone there? Please, help me! I'm slipping!"
"Hang in there! I'm coming!" I waded through the shallow water near the reef. As soon as I reached her, she latched onto me like a lifeline, sobbing and thanking me profusely.
Her face was buried against my neck, so I couldn't see her, but judging by the way her chest pressed against mine, she was…well-endowed. Not that I had time to admire the view. I had to get her to shore before hypothermia set in.
I grabbed the life jacket and started back. The waves were strong near the reef, making it a struggle to keep hold of her. We were both soaked, and it was like trying to wrestle a wet octopus – awkward and exhausting.
Finally, we reached the beach. She was still shaken, crying uncontrollably, clinging to me for dear life.
I found a dry spot and sat down, patting her shoulder awkwardly. "Hey, you're okay now. You're safe."
She looked up, her eyes brimming with tears, then suddenly smiled. "Alex? Is that you?"
I blinked. "Do I know you?"
She brushed her wet hair back. "It's me, Emily Brown. From the office."
I racked my brain. Emily? I could only picture the grumpy old lady from accounting and the two women who framed me.
Emily saw my blank expression. "It's okay, I've only been there six months."
"Alex, you probably don't remember, but when I first started, the GM kept hitting on me, and you stepped in. And at that company dinner, some guy from another firm wouldn't leave me alone, and you took his drink for me." She continued recounting these supposed shared experiences, but I was drawing a blank. My mind had been preoccupied with my ex at the time.
After a few minutes, Emily blushed, removing her hands from my neck and looking down. "Alex, I'm okay now. You can let go."
I realized I was still holding her around the waist. It was a pretty intimate position.
I coughed, looking away. "Sorry, I was just listening. Didn't mean to…uh…take advantage." Remembering how tightly she'd clung to me, I felt my ears burn. "It's…it's fine. Forget it."
The air hung thick with awkward silence.
Trying to break the tension, I asked, "So, why were you on that plane?"
Emily's face clouded over. "The GM. He insisted I come on this business trip. I couldn't say no."

The Alpha's Stripper Mate
"What?" It was out of my mouth before I could stop it. I did not wait for him to answer me, I walked toward him.
"Dance on my lap."
My head screamed at me to turn around and run. But my whole body responded to his command.
"Yes, Alpha," I pulled my dress over my body, it dropped over my head and fell to the ground behind me. I was left in nothing but my matching bra and thong. My hands covered my chest on reflex.
"Let me see."
My hands dropped to my sides.
I lowered myself into his lap, facing him. His eyes peered into mine, and I could feel his hot breath fan my face. His dick responded to all my moves, hardening against my now-moist vagina. I swallowed hard, allowing my lips to part in a ragged breath. His hands trailed up to my waist.
"No touching."
At the tender age of eleven, JoJo Wyatt was forced to grow up far sooner than she should have. Born to a cruel father and a weak mother, she quickly realized she had to become the breadwinner for herself and her sister. Nothing else mattered to her, not even the hottest men. In fact, she despised them. After one horrific night, she swore never to have any contact with the male species again. That was, until she started working for him as his stripper.
Meanwhile, Alpha Lake Rush, thirty, was the most feared Alpha in the country. Burdened by his own share of life's struggles, he had learned only to be cruel and reckless, rejecting not one but two mates. But what happens when he discovers yet another mate, and she turns out to be his stripper?
HER ALPHA, HER SAVIOUR
Kane Hellboud, charm and wealth personified, wanted only me in exchange for her treatment. No cameras, isolation, or noose-like rules were part of the deal. Behind his smile? Cold, violent possessiveness that destroyed our fake marriage.
Most of all, I didn’t know the supernatural walked among us, hiding in the cracks of ordinary life. Not until Abel Stone stepped into mine—dark-eyed, sharp-tongued, and oozing dangerous promises. He’s my new boss. He shouldn’t make my skin tingle or my pulse race. I shouldn’t feel this primal pull, this illogical recognition that tugs at something deep in my bones.
Around him, lights burst, electronics fry, and something ancient in me awakens.
Kane feels it. His grip tightens, punishments turn brutal, and he hides the truth of what I am.
Trapped between two powerful men, I’m no prey, no pawn—no helpless victim.
Prisons burn. Monsters bleed. As for me? I'm the storm in skin—deadly beyond suspicion.
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
Vengeance of the Forsaken Luna
"Bella." Ethan's tone shifted, taking on that warning edge I knew too well. "Faye is vulnerable right now. She's terrified you'll resent her, that this will divide the pack. The last thing she wants is for this baby to come between us."
"Then you shouldn't have done it." I met his eyes squarely, letting him see the ice in mine. "Go back to your son."
"For fuck's sake." He dragged a hand through his hair. "How many times—it was artificial insemination. They used my sperm, yes, but Faye and I never—"
Bella let out a cold snort. Such brazen lies. Her mate had an affair with his brother's partner, and his entire family helped force her out with nothing, all to make way for the mistress to take her rightful position. Poor fool—he thought she was just an unwanted adopted daughter, easy to dismiss and control. He never knew the computer genius he'd been searching for was his own Luna.
Since he'd tainted himself, Bella was done. She rejected him and reclaimed what was hers, rising to the top with help from Victor, who'd been secretly in love with her for years.
When Ethan tried winning her back: "You don't want our child growing up fatherless."
Bella smiled mockingly. "The child's father isn't you."

They don’t want to be far away from their leader.
Bound By Power, Torn By Love
She regards him as her only salvation, but he regards her as a pawn for revenge. When two enemies dance on the sharp knife, what will be the final outcome?
The Rogue King II

The CEO's Unspoken Love
Before I could answer, he moved closer, suddenly looming over me, his face inches from mine. I felt my breath caught, my lips parting in surprise.
"Then this is the price for speaking ill of me to others," he murmured, nipping my lower lip before claiming my mouth in a real kiss. It began as punishment but quickly transformed into something else entirely as I responded, my initial rigidity melting into compliance, then active participation.
My breathing accelerated, small sounds escaping my throat as he explored my body. His touches were both punishment and pleasure, drawing shudders from me that I thought he felt reverberating through his own body.
My nightgown had ridden up, his hands discovering more of mine with each caress. We were both lost in sensation, rational thought receding with each passing second...

Curtis, the boy I once loved, still holds a promise I made, but the Alpha’s powerful presence pulls me deeper into his world. Should I forgive Curtis and keep my word, or should I risk everything for a chance at something wild and unpredictable with the Alpha who won’t take no for an answer?
“There are no limits between us,” he chuckled, the mirth sparkling in his gorgeous eyes. “And all of this stems from the night you gave me both pain and pleasure. I’m simply returning the favor.”
He took two steps forward, and I stepped back. “But…” The memory of what I had done filled me with fear, and I knew I had to get out of there. “I…”
“No, Firecat.” He placed an index finger on my lips. “This will take your mind off that son of a bitch.” His strong hands pulled me by the waist until I felt his hard manhood.
The Contract Wife: Marriage Of Malice
He didn't finish. He didn't need to.
I didn't tell him to stop.
Instead, my fingers curled into his shirt, clutching the fabric as though it was my only anchor. Something in him snapped—something he had been holding back for too long. His mouth found mine in a kiss that wasn't tender, but hungry, desperate.
I gasped into him, his hand sliding up to cup my jaw, holding me as if afraid I might vanish.
"You drive me insane," he breathed against my mouth, his lips trailing to my throat. "I can't lose you, Ella. Not you."
My head fell back, a soft sound escaping me as his fingers memorized my waist. My anger melted beneath his desperation.
"James..." I whispered, more plea than protest.
His hand caught mine, fingers threading together tightly. "I'll bring him back. I swear it. Just... don't turn away from me. Please."
The word please—low, ragged, almost broken—undid me more than anything else could have.
