Introduction
I bite my tongue, refusing to answer, but this only makes him add pressure to my throat. I throw him a menacing glare as I struggle. Then he asks again, "Understand?"
"Yes."
Vanessa Collins has only ever been raised as a hunter who lived for one agenda : destroy the werewolf family that ruined hers.
Xander Black is the Alpha of MoonVeil Pack a d the future Alpha King of all werewolves. Cold. Ruthless. Power is his only language, and fear is his currency.
When fate forces them together, Vanessa becomes the center of a political whirlwind, and a target of an unknown enemy. To secure his ascension, Xander proposes something neither of them wants: a contract marriage.
She'll be his bride.
He'll be her protector.
Both parties are forbidden from falling in love.
Bounded by obligations, surrounded by hostility and buried blood-soaked pasts, their union becomes a battleground of control, desire, and buried truths.
As pack politics tighten, and ancient forces awaken, Vanessa must decide whether revenge is worth more than her heart.
Because loving the Alpha may just be the one dangerous thing that destroys her.
Chapter 1
Vanessa
“This is the last time I will be helping you,” Lyra says as she throws the little scroll at my chest like it burned her. Her voice, the usual cold and detached tone.
I deftly catch it in my hands, a surge of anger flaring in my core.
“We had a deal,” I reply coolly.
“Well the deal ends today,” she snaps. Her green eyes wide and wary under her wide silken scarf warped loosely around her head, as she looks around. As if expecting someone or something to jump out of the shadows at her. “The Council has started sniffing around and it’ll only be a matter of time before I become a suspect.”
I hold the scroll in my hand, a little too tightly as I think of what to say to that.
Lyra spins around, then turns her head slightly to whisper, “ never contact me again. Goodbye, Vanessa”. Then she was gone.
I scoff and spin on my heels, kicking the pebbles of stones lining my path as I start to march out of the dense wide forest.
A deal was a deal, she can’t just break it off whenever she wants. Whatever, I don’t need her anymore.
I look down at the scroll, knowing it contains a detailed map of the Estate – one I’ll be infiltrating tonight.
Yeah, I’ve got all I need. I just need to fig-
The snap of a twig nearby stops me in my tracks. I wait, trying to control my breathing and my rapidly beating heart. My head tilts to the side, ears cocked as I listen. There it was again, another snap.
I reach over my shoulder, behind me only to grab on air.
Fuck. I left my arrows behind, which was quite uncharacteristic of me. I instead, draw the short blade from the waistband of my jeans and turn to face the source of the sound.
Suddenly, a figure, covered head to toe in a cloak so dark it rivaled the darkness of the night, appears.
“Who are you?” I demand but instead, it lunges for me. I barely dodge the first strike, but a searing pain after let me know my ribs have taken a rough hit.
I double over, trying to take in deep breaths but the figure isn’t that patient. He grabs me by the throat and lifts, dangling me above the ground. His strength is supernatural, and even this close, I can’t make out any outline of his face.
“Vanessa,” he drawls. His voice…it sounds wrong, unnatural. It carries through the air, distorted, like an echo of wailing souls.
I claw at his hands but it only tightens around me. My vision dots with black and, with great effort, I steady my hand, and stab my blade into his flesh. He hisses and drops me immediately.
I crash to the floor in a fit of coughs and curses. This time, I run towards him and land a pretty good strike to his face, he stumbles but catches himself in time.
He starts towards me but stops at the sound of heavy footsteps coming out way, then a menacing growl tears through the air. From the trees, emerges a huge black wolf, about six feet tall. It’s blazing green eyes hateful, it’s mouth snarling with teeth so sharp looking it could cut a tree in two clean halves.
With no preamble, the wolf runs towards the figure at full speed but he disappears, literally, and reappears behind the wolf. The combat is so fast I can barely make each figure out, it is a blurry of movements as fists and canines clash.
Then the figure appears behind me, startling me. “Soon, Vanessa Collins.” Then he disappears literally, again, before I can even ask how he knows my full name, or my name at all.
The first sound of bones cracking catches my attention. I whip my head around in time to watch as the wolf transforms into a full grown man.
He is naked except for a pair of pants I’m wondering how it stayed there. His eyes which are as dark as his hair pierce right through me, a shiver courses through my spine.
He walks towards me, his body rippling with barely contained power, muscles flexing with each step and his gait, graceful. I canty help trailing my eyes down the tight coils of his well defined abs, going lower to the V shape, disappearing into his pants.
“You shouldn’t be here, human,” he says in a deep baritone voice that is used to giving commands and yielding obedience.
I am startled out of the trance his body put me under. My nostrils flaring when his words register. “A little stroll in the woods shouldn’t worry anyone.”
“Not in my territory.”
“Well, I don’t see your name written around here anywhere,” I snap.
Two steps and he is right in front of me. I catch a whiff of his scent – woodsy and salty with just the right sprinkle of dangerous. I lick my lips slightly.
He leans In, his breath brushing my face and whispers, “careful, firecracker. Or I just might take a bite.” Then I feel the sharpness of his canine scraping the side of my neck and I shiver involuntarily.
He takes a few steps back, his dark eyes raking over me slowly, almost stripping me, one cloth at a time. Right then, I notice the mark on his left collarbone – a crescent moon tattoo, pulsing in the pale moonlight like it had a heart of it’s own.
That mark…I know it. Heard stories of it and now, the reason for his commanding aura becomes clearer.
Xander Black.
The future Alpha King of the MoonVeil Pack.
“Leave human, and never come back.” Then he shifts into his huge black wolf, trains those blazing green eyes on me once more, then runs off, until his silhouette fades and blends into the darkness.
I let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding. Then I hear it. The soft, broken whisper of my name, carried through the night air, causing goosebumps to rise on my body.
I take a step forward to run. Then a second.
Then suddenly, I’m falling, the darkness holding
me in it’s cool embrace before I even hit the uneven ground.

I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."

Why does being near him make my skin feel too tight, like I’m wearing a sweater two sizes too small?
It’s just newness, I tell myself firmly.

This is Tyler’s family.
I’m not going to let one cold stare undo that.

I hate girls like her.
Entitled.
Delicate.
And still—
Still.
The image of her standing in the doorway, clutching her cardigan tighter around her narrow shoulders, trying to smile through the awkwardness, won’t leave me.
Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldn’t care.
I don’t care.
It’s not my problem if Tyler’s an idiot.
It’s not my business if some spoiled little princess has to walk home in the dark.

Invisible To Her Bully
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
My Possessive Alpha Twins For Mate
My drunk stepfather remained indifferent, his weight suffocating, making it hard to breathe as my heart raced.
Suddenly, the door slammed open, and two figures burst in.
"Get off her!" a deafening roar echoed.
I didn't expect the twin brothers who'd bullied me at school to come charging in like gods to save me.
After my grandmother passed, I had to move in with my mom and stepdad, who treated me like a servant. I prayed every day for my 18th birthday to come, so l could leave and escape this broken home.
However, on my first day at my new school, l encountered the legendary twins everyone feared.
To make matters worse, the Moon Goddess revealed they were both my mates!
After helping me out with my stepdad, my twin mate cornered me, played with my hair, and whispered possessively, "You belong to us, our little mate..."
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.

The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.

Crowned by Fate
“She’d just be a Breeder, you would be the Luna. Once she’s pregnant, I wouldn’t touch her again.” my mate Leon’s jaw tightened.
I laughed, a bitter, broken sound.
“You’re unbelievable. I’d rather accept your rejection than live like that.”
As a girl without a wolf, I left my mate and my pack behind.
Among humans, I survived by becoming a master of the temporary: drifting job to job… until I became the best bartender in a dusty Texas town.
That’s where Alpha Adrian found me.
No one could resist the charming Adrian, and I joined his mysterious pack hidden deep in the desert.
The Alpha King Tournament, held once every four years, had begun. Over fifty packs from across North America were competing.
