Chapter 1
Prolog
Keith hated gate duty anytime, but tonight, it was colder than a witch's tit out here. However, as a prospect, it was one of the main duties he got assigned. Inwardly groaning, he put on his heavy coat and opened the guard shack door. He had barely started walking the perimeter when he saw it. What it was, he didn't completely know.
As he watched, it got closer, and for a minute, he thought the cold had rattled a few screws loose, cause no way in hell could he really be seeing what he thought he was.
There was a figure fighting their way through the snow. As it got closer, he noticed it was a woman. She was half naked, barefoot, shivering, and had a bundle pulled tight to her chest. Besides that, she'd been beaten by someone.
Once on the other side of the gate, she muttered, "Hollow and Night, have to see now."
She was stumbling over her words and shaking, but he understood she was asking for Prez and the V.P. "Please," she begged, "I need to hurry, they're coming, it's not safe, I have to warn them." As soon as she said that, he was on his cell phone.
"I have an emergency out here. Get Prez and the V.P. now." He yelled into the phone the second it was picked up, not waiting for an answer. Then he heard shouts for Prez and the V.P. to the gate; there's an emergency. With that, he hung up and pocketed his phone.
He opened the gate and let her in. By now, he was mostly holding her up, rather than her supporting herself.
Then, the Prez and the V.P. were running for the gate. "What's wrong?"
When they arrived and saw her, they looked puzzled. Then she spoke again, "They're coming, Devil's Hogs, and the Savages MCs, coming to kill and steal women and children. Have to protect them, please, protect them."
She collapsed on her knees, and the jarring of her landing shook the bundle. Then, there was a weak baby's cry. Sweet Jesus, she had a baby?
Night, the V.P., dropped to his knees in front of her. "Who are you, darlin'? Who hurt you, little one?"
She pushed the bundle to him, "Protect my daughter, please. Blood is going to kill us both for this, but I had to warn you. He's my father." With that, she fell face-first into the snow.
The Prez, Hollow, turned her over; the front of her shirt was covered in blood. He scooped her up and ran for the clubhouse. Night held the baby in that bundle and ran after him.
Night
I got our doc Bones for the girl. He rushed into the room, and the second he saw her condition, he growled as I did. This girl has been used as a punching bag, and not just recently, judging by the multiple shades of bruises all over her. He moved to take care of her.
Then suddenly he shouts, "What in the mother fucking hell?" I whirl around.
He has her bloody tank top cut open, and across her stomach is blood-streaked duct tape. He shakes his head and starts cutting the tape away, trying not to hurt her while peeling it off. Suddenly, he stops, and his face gets really red. He hangs his head and shakes it back and forth.
"This is some seriously fucked up bullshit right here, Night. I'm gonna need Shannon in here with me."
I nod and go to tell the prospect in the hall to get Bone's old lady. I go back over and see what had him all fucked up. This girl has a hole in her stomach. Some mother fucker stabbed her in the god damn stomach. I can't tell what all she's done, but it looks like a street patch job.
"I don't know if this is brilliant or fucking crazy, but this girl has some balls on her, cause whatever it is, it hurt like a son of a bitch to do this shit." Bones rants to me.
"What'd she do?" Curious about what she had done.
"She shoved tampons in the stab wound, then put a maxi pad over it, and duct-taped the whole thing together."
"Sounds rather brilliant and resourceful to me. What do you need me to do, baby?" Shannon asks Bones as she enters the room.
"Check the baby for me, will ya, darlin', then you can help me with her." Shannon nods and moves to the baby.
"Well, look at you, you beautiful little angel. We are gonna fix up your mama in no time, and have you back with her."
Shannon looks at Bones. "She's resourceful; she probably used every scrap of clothing and blankets she could find to wrap up her baby. That's one hell of a momma there."
I had to agree. She'd walked barefoot, scantily dressed, stabbed, and beaten all to hell, and who knows what else, to warn us the other MCs were coming. I didn't miss that she kept emphasizing the women and children. I've heard horror stories about both The Devil's Hogs and The Savages MCs. Lots of talk about human trafficking and abusing club girls.
"My baby, where's my baby?" I hear frantic questions from the bed where the girl lies.
"Don't you worry, Momma, she's right here, and she's right as rain. You did good, honey." Shannon goes to her side, holding the baby in her arms.
"Her name is Hope." The girl said while looking adoringly at her daughter.
Then she sucked in a sharp breath and bit down on a scream or cry, or hell, both. "Sorry, hon, but I gotta get this wound cleaned out. You did well stopping the bleeding. I can honestly say, I have never thought about shoving tampons in a bleeding wound."
"It was all I had that I thought might work."
I just shook my head at the thought that this beautiful girl was put in this situation in the first place. She said Blood is her father. That man is just evil; lord only knows what he's done to her.
Bones looks at her. "Okay, I don't have anything really strong here. So, I'm just gonna use a local. It should help with finishing cleaning out the wound and stitching you up, but it's gonna burn like a bitch."
She nods at him, and he gets the shot ready. As he inserts the needle, she doesn't even flinch. When he starts to push the plunger and inject the medication, she grits her jaw and closes her eyes.
"What's your name, honey?" I realized we've never asked that.
“Rayne" I found myself mouthing her name silently to myself a few times.
The longer I stand here and watch her, listen to her voice, and watch her interact with her daughter, the surer I am that I'm never letting her go back to that hellhole.
Whether she knows it or not, she and her daughter just became mine.

The Mafia King's Unknown Doctor Wife
Letters to a Dark Prince
Thrown into Isteros Academy—a world of old money, blood money, and cruel social games—she's an outsider by birth and an afterthought by design. Her sister Solyn is the school's untouchable queen and Mara is her favorite target.
Everyone expects Atreus to treat his fiancée’s scholarship sister like everyone else does—as if she doesn’t matter.
Instead, his dorm room sits directly across from hers, close enough that she can see his light go out at night. Some nights, he climbs the old maintenance trellis just to check on her. He teaches her chess. He shows up exactly when something's gone wrong—and never once asks to be thanked for it.
"Don't fall in love with one piece," he warns her, over a board neither of them treats like a game anymore. "It punishes the person who only sees half of it."
Mara doesn't understand why the boy who's supposed to make her life harder keeps quietly making it easier—not until she realizes the anonymous stranger she's been writing to every week already has a name.
His.
He doesn't know he's writing to her, either.
By the time they find out, it's too late to stop what's already happening. Far too dangerous for anyone to find out.
In an empty studio, in the middle of a rainstorm, she asks him: 'Am I the kind of girl who kisses a boy engaged to my sister?'
He doesn't answer.
So she asks: 'What are we?’
He told her not to fall in love with one piece.
She fell anyway.
And he was never far behind.
Unwanted Mate Of The Lycan Kings
Ripped from her bed and thrown into a world of blood and treachery, Zirah’s fate is sealed, a forced marriage to one of the three Lycan Kings, each more monstrous than the last.
These kings, cursed by their sins, pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, and gluttony are at war, fighting to claim their father’s throne. But the last thing any of them want is a queen.
To them, Zirah is nothing but a pawn, an object to be used, discarded, or destroyed.
But they underestimate her.
If they think she will cower, they are wrong.
If they believe she will bow, they will bleed.
And if they want to break her, they’ll have to survive her first.
FROZEN HEART BURNING SOUL
Then the festival comes to her town, and with it comes Ryder Callahan a rough, loud, motorcycle-riding wildfire fighter who looks at her like she is not a monster. Like she is just a girl. A girl he really wants to know.
But Bella is hiding more than her powers. Someone dangerous is coming for her. And the closer she lets Ryder get, the more she puts him in danger.
He says he is not afraid of fire. She says she is not afraid of ice. Maybe together, they can survive the storm that is coming for them both if she does not freeze him out first.

My Alpha's Fake Luna
Those were the last words my Alpha whispered before he severed our bond.
I believed our marriage was over.
I was wrong.
For two years, I thought Alpha Michael never loved me.
Every misunderstanding pushed us farther apart.
Every silence broke another piece of my heart.
While another woman slowly took my place.
But everything changed after the death of the Grand Alpha.
My mate began watching me.
Protecting me.
Holding me whenever I fell.
Looking at me like he was terrified of losing me.
If he hated me...
Why did he keep risking everything for me?
And why did everyone panic the moment I finally chose another future?
Love's Deadly Equation
I was sent to her.
To watch her. To protect her. And, when the order comes… to kill her.
My name is Keegan Caffery. I’m the Carter Mafia’s best hitman. I don’t miss. I don’t fail.
At least, I didn’t use to.
I don’t know what it is about her that got to me first—her mouth, her mind, or the way she looks at me like I’m not what she should fear.
I’ve had a gun to her head since I walked into her life.
She knows it.
And she still doesn’t run.
She just watches me back like she’s studying a problem she refuses to call impossible.
She’s the one variable I can’t control.
And God help me… I don’t want to.
I have an order. I have loyalty. I have a trigger.
But every time I imagine it—
I can’t stand it.
Her or me. That’s the math.
It’s a deadly equation I don’t want to solve.
⬥ Maisie ⬥
I’m not ordinary. I stopped pretending long ago.
My name is Maisie Seo. IQ 145. Clinical genius.
Which sounds impressive until you realize what it actually means: I don’t fit anywhere people expect me to.
I see patterns everywhere. Outcomes before they happen. People like equations I’ve already solved.
It gets lonely in a world you’ve already figured out.
So I dull myself down. Smoke the edges off. Pretend, badly, to be the kind of normal that lets people stay.
Then he walked in.
I knew what he was immediately. Dangerous. Intentional. Wrong in all the right ways.
I should be afraid of him.
I keep waiting for that to kick in.
Instead, I’m fascinated.
Because for the first time in my life… I’ve found something I can’t solve.
He is my deadly equation.
