Introduction
One kiss was all it took.
Amrah's secret relationship with Chris crumbled the moment Zayd, Chris's best friend- pressed his lips to hers.
The supposed harmless game ignited something dangerous between them, throwing Amrah's quiet life into a tumbling mess of angst, guilt, forbidden passion, and impossible choices.
"I'm going to make love to you..." Her green eyes shimmered under the dim light.
"...imprint myself into your innocence and get rid of every bad memory you have, Amrah do I have your permission?"
One kiss was all it took to release Zayd's emotions.
One kiss was all those locked away feelings to sprang free.
Zayd had yearned and almost given up, until that very night. An opportunity that seemed fleeting, but it was enough for him.
Chapter 1
Amrah: Truth or Dare
"My girls." Yvonne praised as soon as we walked out of the door.
I felt my cheeks heating up as all eyes fell on Daphy and I.
The warm air on the rooftop brushed my cleavage, reminding me of my revealing dress. Chris's eyes locked on mine and I felt more self-conscious as his eyes darted between my face and my cleavage shamelessly.
"Wow Amy, you look hot" Sally complimented.
"Thank you. Happy birthday" I replied and handed the small wrapped gift box I was holding.
"Awn, you didn't have to. Thank you"
The rooftop was decorated to fit the party vibe Sally has been chattering about all week. The round big table in the middle was filled with variety of food and drinks, from mild alcohol to strong ones.
The other side of the table had a big mat spread across the floor in preparation for the games Sally had prepared.
I quickly slipped into a seat beside Chris hoping no one noticed his hand that slipped on my lap under the table.
"You look so hot, fuck" he whispered to me, biting his lips.
I could bet my cheeks were blazing pink as my eyes darted around hoping no one saw the exchange.
Someone did.
Zayd who was sitting across us sipping on an orange juice had his eyes on us, he didn't look away even when my eyes met his.
He is no problem.
Zayd already knew about the secret relationship between Chris and I. They were best friends and roommates, he caught us one day and turned blind eyes.
Sally cut her cake and it was shared among everyone. We chatted and had a few cheers, and Bruno made everyone laugh at his funny jokes.
Chris's hand was relentlessly rubbing my thighs underneath the table, although it made me a bit uncomfortable, I let him.
He was my boyfriend after all.
"Now, let's go to the fun part" Sally cheered and clicked her glass with Yvonne who the closest to her.
Daphy grabbed an empty bottle and we moved to the mat. We sat in circle, Chris was at my right hand while Bruno sat at my left with Zayd directly opposite him.
"I will definitely bother you tonight, how didn't I realize you are just my type" Bruno teased me as he took his seat.
"Please don't" I pleaded, laughing nervously.
Sally brought the 50% whiskey and two shot glasses, " This is the penalty for any coward, two shots of this baby if you can carry out the dare or say the truth"
Truth or Dare!
I always look forward to playing this game but I suddenly felt nervous.
"Amy, spin the bottle" Bruno nudged me playfully.
I did as told and the bottle landed between Daphy and Sally.
"Fuck yes!" Daphy was happy because she gets to dare Sally.
"I dare you to give us a good twerk for three minutes"
"Woohooo!" Everyone cheered, except Zayd who seemed to have his mind miles away from here.
Why was I noting his mood?
Sally stood up and played a music to twerk to, I will say she did her one. Everyone had their eyes on her until she was done.
"Fuck girl, you went hard" Yvonne laughed.
"I'm setting the standard" Sally replied.
She spun the bottle next and it landed between Daphy and Chris, " Good! Daphy, can you turn Chris on in three minutes?"
I felt like a bucket of ice water was pour over me when I glanced at Chris and saw him grinning shamelessly, he looked excited in fact.
I tugged his shirt but he ignored me as Daphy straddled him and began to dry hump him slowly, her fingers slipped into his hair and draw his face closer to hers.
I watched Chris leaned forward as if he was going to kiss her but Daphy tilted her head and bit his ear softly.
"Time up" I didn't even realize I was holding my breath until I heard Sally's laughter.
"She fucking did it" Bruno hollered after glancing at the obvious tent on Chris.
My throat felt like sandpaper, I stood up and poured myself a glass of cranberry juice to moisten my throat.
"That was thirsty, I know" Bruno joked when I came back to my seat.
"You liked that?" I whispered to Chris.
"She is pro rider, fuck" he replied back as if he didn't see the obvious hurt in my eyes.
I hoped no one else saw it as well.
Daphy took a shot even though she fulfilled her dare, she spun the bottle next and it landed between Zayd and I.
My heart thumped and I saw Chris's gaze hardening a bit. His smile was suddenly off.
A naughty part of me wished Zayd would do something unhinged so I can let Chris feel what I just felt now.
"I dare you to tell us your most embarrassing moment ever" Zayd said, his eyes trained on me.
I suddenly felt transparent under his intense gaze, my dress felt tighter and my panties moistened for some odd reason.
"That's simple" I chuckled nervously and adjusted in my seat.
"I once had a disagreement with my Dad and he blocked all my credit cards. I didn't realize until I went for an stress-relief shopping and all the cards declined. I started crying at the cashier in frustration. Someone on the line paid for my stuffs so I could move away, it was so embarrassing for me" I narrated, trying not to mind Zayd's eyes on me.
"That's embarrassing? I felt like that's a scene from a romance book." Yvonne said dreamily.
"Huh?"
"I mean the person who paid for you, he must be a hot CEO or so"
"She didn't specify the gender though" Bruno countered.
"I didn't wait to see who it was. Thinking about it now, I didn't even tell the person Thank you" I explained.
"You missed yourself a chance with a hot rich dude" Sally chided playfully.
"It might be a woman"
"Who said she can't date a hot rich woman?" Daphy countered.
"Are you lesbian?" Bruno turned to me.
My cheeks heated up at the attention on me, I shook my head and looked away in embarrassment.
"Fine, let's move on." Yvonne said. I leaned forward and spun the bottle.
It landed between Bruno and Zayd again.
"It's my turn finally!" Bruno cheered and took a big sip of his wine.
"The time is five minutes" he started dramatically.
"What do you want him to do?" Sally asked eagerly.
"I dare you to kiss Amy"
