Introduction
But what they didn't know was that the woman they discarded like a piece of trash would shed her apron and become a legendary racer who struck fear into the hearts of the entire racing world. When my husband's archrival extended an olive branch to me, this game of revenge began—who will ultimately be the winner?
Chapter 1
In the third year of Evelyn Taylor and Benjamin White's marriage, Benjamin cheated on her.
Evelyn sat in the study, staring blankly at the message that had just popped up on the computer screen.
[Benjamin, I think I've gained weight lately. Will I look bad in a wedding dress?]
Below was a photo attached.
The woman's face wasn't shown—just a full-body selfie taken from above, from the neck down.
Her impressive chest, slender waist, and delicate, long legs... everything revealed the woman's youth and freshness, making people want to explore more.
Evelyn felt like a bucket of cold water had been dumped over her head, the chill seeping out from her bones.
She had thought that after all these years of marriage to Benjamin, she at least held some place in his heart.
After all, when he was in that car accident and became a vegetable, it was Evelyn who stayed by his side the whole time, helping him wash, giving him massages, helping with his recovery...
Over three years, Benjamin went from the doctors' initial judgment that his chances of waking up were slim to eventually opening his eyes and rebuilding, until he fully recovered.
And recently, at his grandmother Gwendolyn White's request, he had even held a makeup wedding ceremony for Evelyn.
Evelyn had worried that Benjamin would resist, but surprisingly, whether it was writing invitations or booking the venue, he was exceptionally proactive and enthusiastic.
Evelyn thought she had finally gotten what she wished for.
But now...
She blinked, her nose tingling with bitterness.
Another message came through.
[Where are you? I'm waiting for you at the bridal shop. I want you to be the first to see me in a wedding dress.]
A dull pain hit Evelyn's heart. So Benjamin had left in such a hurry because he got a call from his mistress.
She wanted to see for herself who had such great charm that even the usually calm Benjamin would lose control.
At three in the afternoon, Evelyn arrived at the bridal shop.
As soon as she walked in, she saw a familiar figure wearing her wedding dress, admiring herself in the mirror. The woman's perfect figure was identical to the one in the photo.
The moment Evelyn saw the woman's face, she felt nothing but absurd irony.
It turned out Benjamin's affair was with Amelia Taylor.
Her half-sister, and more importantly, the one everyone in Silverlight City considered the real daughter of the Taylor family.
"Evelyn?"
Amelia suddenly turned around, looking somewhat surprised. "Why are you here?"
She stepped back two steps as if startled, her eyes scanning around. Finding nowhere to hide, she could only clutch the wedding dress hem and look over timidly.
"If I didn't come, how would I see you so eager to try on my wedding dress?" Evelyn stepped forward, her tone terrifyingly calm.
"No... it's not like that..."
"Not like what?"
Amelia shook her head, trying to speak, but Evelyn cut her off with cold eyes.
She stared sharply at Amelia. "Is it that you're not wearing my wedding dress, or that you're not seducing your own sister's husband?"
The merciless sarcasm made Amelia's face flush red.
Amelia was both angry and annoyed, and simply decided to tear off the pretense. "What do you mean, YOUR wedding dress?"
"If I hadn't given up the marriage to you back then, you wouldn't have had the chance to marry Benjamin, let alone the chance to lord it over me here!"
Evelyn found her righteous attitude rather laughable.
But these things had originally belonged to her.
Eight years ago, Evelyn was kidnapped on her way home from school. After her parents and Benjamin searched for her without success, they adopted Amelia, who looked fifty to sixty percent like her, and treated her as an emotional substitute.
Over the years, Amelia's lively personality and people-pleasing ways gradually replaced Evelyn's position in their hearts.
When Evelyn crawled back from hell, she found there was no longer a place for her in the Taylor family.
When Benjamin was in a car accident and became a vegetable, Evelyn agreed without hesitation to marry him in Amelia's place, because she had nothing left and desperately wanted to hold onto anything connected to her past—even if it meant becoming the wife of a vegetative Benjamin, even if Benjamin would never wake up.
Amelia's voice continued in her ear. "Evelyn, Benjamin doesn't like you anyway, so why can't you just let me have him?"
"You've been married all these years, and he hasn't even touched you, right? But Benjamin is very passionate with me every night..."
As Amelia's provocative words rang in her ears, Evelyn couldn't hold back and raised her hand.
Evelyn's slap was still in mid-air when her wrist was suddenly grabbed hard and flung aside.
Benjamin's cold features appeared before her eyes. He stood in front of Amelia, his tone icy. "What are you doing?"
Seeing him, Amelia's eyes immediately reddened. "Benjamin, don't blame Evelyn. She didn't mean it. It's my fault for wearing Evelyn's wedding dress..."
Benjamin looked coldly at Evelyn and said directly, "Apologize."
Apologize?
His matter-of-fact command struck Evelyn's nerves like an axe. Her fingers curled up sharply—she found it absurd.
Her husband was actually asking her to apologize to his mistress.
Evelyn let out a mocking smile. "Benjamin, you let another woman wear my wedding dress, and now you want me to apologize to her?"
"It's just a dress. Amelia was curious and wanted to try it on. It doesn't affect you wearing it later. Why are you being so petty?" Benjamin frowned, as if he thought she was being unreasonable.
His expression was indifferent. "Besides, you were the one who took her place in the marriage to begin with."
Evelyn's head was buzzing, and she felt a sharp pain in her heart.
So after all these years, Benjamin still had feelings for Amelia.
Even though he had first had the accident and become a vegetable, Amelia had left him without hesitation.
Bitterness welled up in her eyes as she said, word by word, "If you want me to apologize, impossible."
Evelyn dropped this line and turned to leave.
"If you don't apologize, don't ever think about stepping into any bridal shop again." Benjamin's cold voice came from behind. "As for the wedding dress, since you care so much about it, why don't you make one yourself?"
His threatening tone was like an invisible hand suddenly gripping Evelyn's heart.
Evelyn turned back to look at Benjamin, her voice so light it could scatter in the air at any moment. "What do you mean?"
Benjamin's face was indifferent. "I mean, every bridal shop in Silverlight City will refuse to serve you. If you still want to hold the wedding as scheduled, make one yourself."
His tone was somewhat mocking. "That way, no one else will wear your wedding dress."
Evelyn's head buzzed as she looked at Benjamin's features, suddenly finding them incredibly unfamiliar.
"You're... threatening me for her?" Evelyn's voice was hoarse.
"It's not a threat," Benjamin said flatly. "It's a warning."
Evelyn's throat felt like it was stuffed with cotton, making it hard to speak.
She had thought that after three years of marriage and over a thousand days and nights together, even if Benjamin hadn't fallen in love with her, he would at least have some feelings for her.
She never expected that she had been flattering herself all along.
A bitter taste rose from the root of Evelyn's tongue, so bitter that her vision blurred.
"Even so, I will never apologize!" She said through gritted teeth, then turned and left.
Evelyn returned home and sat alone on the sofa until the sky turned from light to dark and the sound of a car engine came from outside.
She seemed to suddenly wake up, her gaze turning toward the door.
Benjamin soon came in from outside.
He wore a well-tailored custom suit, his features refined and his bearing noble. The moment their eyes met, he frowned slightly. "Why didn't you turn on the lights?"
Evelyn stared straight at him without speaking.
Benjamin frowned. "You shouldn't have tried to hit her. Go apologize to her tonight."
Evelyn looked at him, her tone firm. "I said, impossible."
Benjamin rubbed his forehead, seeming somewhat tired. "Evelyn, you're an adult. You should understand the consequences of doing this. The White family and the Taylor family work closely together—you can't be willful about this."
"By three o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the latest, you must go apologize to Amelia."
He finished speaking and turned to go upstairs.
Is it just because of business cooperation?
"I won't go," Evelyn said calmly.
Benjamin's steps paused slightly, impatience creeping into his tone. "You don't have a choice."
What does he mean, no choice?
Evelyn clenched her palms tightly. The emotions she had been forcefully suppressing suddenly surged back doubled. Her heart felt like it was being pierced by countless fine needles, making her vision instantly blur.
Fine then. A tainted man—she didn't want him anymore.
She looked up, staring at Benjamin's back, and said word by word, "Then let's get divorced."

Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

Accardi
“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
