Introduction
Her career is on the brink of doom, and her sister, who was meant to have her back at all times, sent her packing from her home.
Camilla is left with nothing, but not for a long while.
When she stepped into the Holloway building, she knew her life was going to change. What she didn't know, was how big of a change her billionaire patient, Ivan Holloway, would be.
When she falls for him, breaking all ethical codes, Camilla realizes the man has more enemies than he knows. She is now laddened with not only the responsibility of saving him from himself, but from his enemies as well.
The arrival of a prodigal wife and child might just be Camilla's breaking point, or would it?
Would Camilla succeed in her mission? Or would she resign with scars of her own?
Chapter 1
CAMILLA
~•~
My hands brushed the floor and slid to the side of the radio. Sighing with satisfaction, I proceeded to find the volume button and pressed it till I could no longer hear myself breathe.
I turned, face up, my legs dancing in the air as I sang along to the song on the radio.
"Call me, irresponsible.."
I turned sideways, my left hand clung to my chest dramatically as my eyes widened, I shut them and frowned.
"Call me, unreliable.."
I sat up, throwing my hands in the air and moving my head sideways with so much force my loosely fixed hair pin fell off.
"Throw in, undependable tooooo...." I screamed, stretching the last word dramatically. I knelt on the bed.
I continued to sing while running my hands all over her my body dramatically, moving my head from side to side while imagining I was a rockstar vixen in a hot music video.
Suddenly, my song stopped.
"There is, nothing that I won't do to..." There was a short pause. i frowned when I realised I had been singing alone for more than thirty seconds.
"Oh for the love of..."
The sight of red flip-flops beside the radio stopped my statement. To be honest, it was not the flip-flops, but the person whose feet rested in them.
"Urghhh!"
I fell back to the spring bed, the poor thing squeaked under my weight and I frowned.
"Stupid mattress" I cursed aloud.
I was not even allowed to wallow in self pity in peace!
"It's had enough of you, and frankly so have I!" The lady standing beside my bed spoke. I sighed and turned to her.
"What do you want?" I asked, my lazy eyes looking up at my older sister. We had similar brown hair and odd brown eyes. One that looked more transparent than brown, almost like you could see through the eyes, into whatever lay beyond them.
"What do I want?" She repeated, appearing thoughtful.
"Let's see, how about you stand up and try to make yourself useful around here?"
I pouted, rolled my eyes and folded my arms under my breasts as I sat up.
"I am a certified psychologist, a mental doctor, you don't speak to me like that."
Tehilah's eyes darted around my small frame with disgust. I sat nonchalant on my small spring bed, in a lose grey sweater that made me look more pale than I really was. The matching sweatpants I had under the sweater did not make me look any more pleasant or less depressing.
"You know, I wonder how you managed to fix people's mess in the past when you're a huge pile of mess yourself."
I sighed once again. my eyes met my sister's furious once in a calm gaze, one that infuriated Tehilah all the more.
"It's more of a practice-what-I-say-and-not-what-I-do profession."
"These bills won't pay themselves Camilla."
I replied with a snort. I turned over and placed my feet on the ground.
"I don't know what you want TT"
Tehilah stomped half way across the small room to the space I stood in.
"I want you to get up and do something! When was the last time you took up a paid case?" She spoke, her anger and desperation made no effort to hide themselves. They were everywhere, in her pose, in her eyes and in her tone.
I did feel sorry for my sister, but more for myself. I stayed silent, not because I did not know, but the answer was going to prove Tehilah right.
"What? Cat got your tongue? Or maybe you have forgotten? Wow! It's been that long ago! Camilla, I do not know what is going on, I do not understand what you have turned yourself into, but what I do know is that you have to stand up and do something!"
I did nothing but look away from Tehilah.
"Wow! That must mean everyone is handling their problems better these days, isn't that a good thing Tehilah? I mean, I don't have a job anymore cause everyone is happy. Everyone is happy. You know, I find it particularly weird that I feed on people's problems. Don't you? I mean, I cannot feed until someone wants to jump off a roof. I really do not like that. But, since everyone is happy now..."
My shoulder brushed past Tehilah's as I walked.
"We should celebrate, shouldn't we?"
"Camilla you are a twenty five year old young lady, without a stable source of income, still living with your sister and her fiance, don't you think that's enough reason to see a therapist?"
"Well, I guess I should consult myself then..." I paused on my tracks, turned and looked around the room dramatically.
"But then, I don't have any money, so how do I pay myself?"
Tehilah sighed, a sad chuckle escaping her lips.
"You don't get it do you?"
"I'm sure I do.."
"No you don't!" Tehilah cut in harshly.
"Francis and I are trying to build a home here, a future..."
"I know that.."
"And you're not in it!"
The silence that followed her yell seemed to last forever between us. Tears gathered in my eyes, the harsh reality of how lonely I was had slapped her across the face once again.
"I need you to get up, leave and make a life for yourself. I didn't work my ass off to see you through college and graduate school only to have you lazy around my house because you feel I'm always going to be here, because the truth is.."
Another long and intense pause.
"..I won't."
I swallowed her tears back, along with my pain and disappointment.
"I know, I'll leave first thing tomorrow morning."
Tehilah's eyes softened, she reached out for me, but I stepped backwards.
"I didn't say you had to..."
"You didn't have to. You're right, I really have to get my own life."
Tehilah stood back and watched me walk out of the room, banging the door behind me.
I bit her lower lip to prevent myself from crying.
"She did what needed to be done" I tried to tell myself.

Accardi
“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.
Genevieve loses a bet she can’t afford to pay. In a compromise, she agrees to convince any man her opponent chooses to go home with her that night. What she doesn’t realize when her sister’s friend points out the brooding man sitting alone at the bar, is that man won’t be okay with just one night with her. No, Matteo Accardi, Don of one of the largest gangs in New York City doesn’t do one night stands. Not with her anyway.
Mated by Contract to the Alpha
William—my devastatingly handsome, wealthy werewolf fiancé destined to become Delta—was supposed to be mine forever. After five years together, I was ready to walk down the aisle and claim my happily ever after.
Instead, I found him with her. And their son.
Betrayed, jobless, and drowning in my father's medical bills, I hit rock bottom harder than I ever imagined possible. Just when I thought I'd lost everything, salvation came in the form of the most dangerous man I'd ever encountered.
Damien Sterling—future Alpha of the Silver Moon Shadow Pack and ruthless CEO of Sterling Group—slid a contract across his desk with predatory grace.
“Sign this, little doe, and I'll give you everything your heart desires. Wealth. Power. Revenge. But understand this—the moment you put pen to paper, you become mine. Body, soul, and everything in between.”
I should have run. Instead, I signed my name and sealed my fate.
Now I belong to the Alpha. And he's about to show me just how wild love can be.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.

Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

His tongue left me breathless.
