Chapter 1
CHAPTER ONE — Aria’s POV
The Betrayal
“I am now crowned the Alpha… and I choose Sabrina as my Luna.”
The words cut through the air like a knife, sharp enough to slice through bone. For a moment, I thought I didn’t hear him well. Maybe the wind carried the wrong sound. Maybe my mind twisted his words.
But no.
Caspian stood proudly on the stage, chest lifted, chin high, a satisfied smirk stretching across his perfect face. And beside him stood Sabrina, the alpha-born beauty, glowing as if the moon itself was blessing her. Her hand rested on his arm like she had already claimed the position that was never promised to me.
My heart stopped.
My breath… gone.
My world… silent.
Do I hear clearly?
No. No, no… it cannot be.
My knees trembled as if the weight of the whole world pressed on me. Around me, the entire pack cheered, clapped, shouted in excitement. Their voices echoed like cruel thunder.
The crowd erupted with cheers:
“Our new Alpha!”
“Long live Alpha Caspian!”
“Sabrina! Luna Sabrina!”
But inside me… everything collapsed.
My thoughts spilled out like broken glass.
Why?
Why again?
Why does life keep breaking me without mercy?
Why am I going from one mess to another?
Just when I thought life could not hurt me more… it stabbed again.
After my parents found their real daughter, they threw me out without hesitation. Not even a goodbye. Not even a second look. One moment, I thought I had a family… the next, I was nothing but a mistake they wanted to erase.
My vision blurred, not from tears yet, but from shock—pure, crushing shock. It felt like my soul had disconnected from my body. Like I was floating above all of it, watching a tragedy I couldn’t escape from.
Caspian didn’t even spare me a glance.
Not a flicker.
Not a shadow.
Not a single sign that I had ever mattered.
He pulled Sabrina closer, his hand sliding around her waist… exactly where he used to hold me when he said I was his entire world.
Something inside me shattered—so painfully I almost heard it crack.
My voice trembled out of me before I could stop it.
“I… I oppose.”
It was barely a whisper.
Barely a breath.
But it stopped everything.
The music.
The cheers.
The laughter.
The entire pack turned to stare at me as if I had committed the greatest crime.
At first, no one spoke. They only stared—eyes cold, judgmental, disgusted. As if I was dirt staining the sacred ground.
Then the whispers came.
Sharp.
Poisoned.
Cutting.
“Is she insane?”
“An omega, daring to speak?”
“Someone drag her out before she embarrasses us.”
Their words were arrows in my chest. Every whisper another wound I could not defend myself from.
Caspian finally looked at me.
For a second, hope clawed at me—desperate, pathetic hope.
I searched his face for anything.
Regret.
Pain.
Guilt.
A flicker of the man who touched my cheek so gently that I believed he cared.
But all I saw was irritation.
And amusement.
“Aria,” he said, his voice loud enough for all to hear, “stop making a scene. You’re embarrassing yourself.”
Embarrassing myself.
As if my heartbreak was nothing more than entertainment to him.
My throat tightened. “You… you told me…”
He laughed.
He actually laughed.
The sound echoed across the entire packhouse grounds—sharp, cruel, mocking.
“I told you what? That I wanted an omega maid as my Luna?” He scoffed. “Don’t be stupid, Aria.”
The world tilted under my feet.
Every memory—every stolen kiss, every secret promise, every whisper of “you’re mine”—burned to ashes inside me.
He used me.
Not by accident.
Not in confusion.
Deliberately.
Caspian tilted his head at me like I was something stuck to the bottom of his boot. “Did you really think I would choose you? You’re nothing more than an omega who needed a warm bed.”
The pack erupted in laughter.
My ears rang.
My stomach dropped.
My soul felt ripped open.
Sabrina smirked, leaning into him as if she had already won a battle I never stood a chance in.
“She’s desperate,” she said sweetly. “It’s honestly pathetic.”
My chest burned as if fire had been lit inside me.
Someone yelled,
“Throw her out!”
“She doesn’t belong with us!”
“She’s a disgrace to the pack!”
I refused to cry.
Not here.
Not in front of them.
Not for them.
But my eyes burned painfully, my lashes trembling.
Caspian raised his hand casually, like dismissing a stray dog.
“Guards. Remove her from the pack. She is no longer welcome.”
Something inside me stopped breathing.
My world… ended.
The guards grabbed me roughly, their hands digging into my arms. I didn’t fight. I didn’t speak. I just stared at the man who had destroyed me without blinking.
And he stared back with nothing.
Not kindness.
Not guilt.
Not even recognition.
I meant nothing to him.
Absolutely nothing.
As the guards dragged me away, my knees scraped the ground, but I couldn’t feel the pain. My heart was screaming too loudly.
I looked back one last time.
Just once.
Caspian pulled Sabrina into a deep kiss—long, slow, passionate, cruel.
He kissed her like he kissed me.
But this time the whole world watched.
He kissed her like he wanted the sight to be carved into my soul forever.
And in that moment…
something inside me broke in a way it would never heal again.

George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The War God Alpha's Arranged Bride
Yet Alexander made his decision clear to the world: “Evelyn is the only woman I will ever marry.”
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
