Introduction
I thought I’d never see him again. But when my ex tried to ruin my family, that "host" reappeared—as the city's top surgeon. He saved my father, but demanded a price: me.
I signed a contract to become his secret lover, thinking he was my savior. When the real woman returned, I tried to flee, but he cornered me against the wall, his hot breath against my ear.
"You're not going anywhere," he growled, his hand sliding dangerously low. "I haven't had enough of you yet."
Chapter 1
"Give me ten gigolos!" Jennifer Brown, with her makeup perfectly done but her face a bit pale, clutched her small purse tightly. She gathered her courage to say it, though her voice still trembled.
This was Aurora Nightclub, the largest club in Golden Harbor, where the wealthiest playboys and the most attractive men and women gathered. When Jennifer walked into Aurora Nightclub, her face was full of innocence and curiosity; it was her first time here.
Although Jennifer seemed out of place with the club's atmosphere, the waitress enthusiastically greeted her. She didn't expect to bump into such a high-rolling customer!
The waitress's eyes lit up instantly, and she eagerly explained, "Ma'am, this your first time here? Let me explain how it works. You gotta book a private room to enjoy the escort services. Our minimum spend for a private room is ten thousand dollars."
Upon seeing Jennifer's calm demeanor, the waitress's smile became even more genuine. "The hourly rate for escorts varies from three hundred to two thousand dollars, depending on their tier. Which tier would you like?"
"The two thousand dollar tier, I want the best," Jennifer said confidently, then frowned slightly with a bit of hesitation. "But I need to pick them myself." Even though she was impulsively hiring escorts, she had high standards.
"No problem, let me take you to a private room first."
In the private room, Jennifer took a large gulp of the whiskey in front of her. It was vanilla-scented whiskey, but all Jennifer could taste was its harshness and the lingering bitterness on her tongue.
The image of Eugene Bailey passionately kissing another pretty girl flashed in her mind again, and a tear slid down her cheek. She took another big gulp of whiskey, coughing violently as she drank too quickly.
Eugene was her boyfriend of three years. During college, he had always been devoted to her, and their classmates envied her for having such a handsome and obedient boyfriend.
She once thought she had found true love, but today she discovered he had been cheating on her, seeing him being just as gentle and affectionate with another woman.
So, she decided to get back at him by cheating too! Unable to find a suitable man in such a short time, she opted for escorts, and if she was going to sleep with someone, it had to be someone who met her aesthetic standards!
The ten escorts stood in two rows in front of Jennifer, ranging from boy-next-door types to ruggedly handsome ones, with more young escorts waiting in line at the door.
The young men were chattering excitedly, having heard about a generous new client. Whoever got picked would have their earnings secured for the next few months. These men surrounded Jennifer, flattering and teasing her, making the usually well-behaved girl blush. She quickly picked a few randomly and told the others to leave.
To her left was a clean-cut, charming boy who looked barely of age, with a sweet tongue; to her right was a broad-shouldered, narrow-waisted sexy man who had taken off his jacket, inviting Jennifer to feel his well-developed chest muscles. Emboldened by the alcohol, Jennifer leaned closer, her soft hand pressing against the man's thin tank top, feeling his impressive chest muscles twitching under her palm.
"So firm!" Jennifer softly exclaimed, her gaze sweeping over the room full of meticulously groomed male models. Although these men couldn't compare to the scoundrel Eugene in terms of features and demeanor, they made up for it with their numbers and enthusiasm, making her feel less miserable.
Indeed, the best way to forget one man was to find several others.
The man's large hand slid down her back, and he whispered intimately, "There's an even firmer part. Want to take me somewhere to feel it?"
Jennifer's youthful beauty and purity were his favorite type, and he would be happy to spend a pleasant night with her even without payment.
Jennifer snapped out of her daze when her fingertips brushed against the man's lower abdomen, realizing the implication of his words when she felt a suspicious bulge. She pulled her hand back as if burned, "No! No need!"
Although she had come here to have a one-night stand to get back at Eugene, she was unprepared for it when it came down to it. She quickly stood up, flustered, and said she needed to go to the restroom.
Stumbling down the dimly lit hallway, Jennifer bumped into a tall man's chest. "Sorry," she apologized while looking up, only to hold her breath upon seeing his face.
Even in the dim light, she could see his high nose bridge, slightly closed eyes with upturned corners, and a cold gaze. 'What a handsome man!' Jennifer thought, 'this must be the top-tier escort in this club. No wonder he's so good-looking, even better than most male celebrities!'
"Dr. Carter, where did you go?" A sultry female voice called from another direction, seemingly looking for someone.
Francis Carter frowned slightly, instantly wrapping his arm around Jennifer's waist and pressing her against the wall, lifting her chin to cover her lips with his. Jennifer's eyes widened in shock, forgetting to resist as his lips and tongue invaded her mouth.
He had been drinking, and his tongue tasted like sweet wine. Jennifer quickly got lost in the deep kiss, moaning softly and chasing his tongue with hers.
Seeing a couple making out, the woman didn't look closely and left, knowing Francis wasn't usually this casual.
As the sound of high heels faded away, Francis loosened his grip on Jennifer's waist, intending to end the unexpected kiss. But Jennifer wrapped her arms around his neck, her cheeks flushed, and eyes seductive, "Did I say you could leave? I choose you." She pressed his head down, their lips meeting again. 'Finally, there's a man who's hotter than Eugene.' Jennifer thought, only a man like this would make her feel her money was well spent.
Francis's Adam's apple bobbed, a broken laugh escaping between their lips. He found himself intrigued by this sudden appearance of Jennifer, whether it was her simple and elegant white dress or the lily-of-the-valley scent mixed with a hint of lemon.
In this murky nightclub, such a fresh and pure girl was a rare sight. Since she was being so forward, he wouldn't hold back.
Their lips seemed glued together, the mixed taste of various liquors making them dizzier. Jennifer's body went limp, sliding down. Francis tightened his grip on her waist, lifting her by her hips. Sweet, soft moans escaped Jennifer's throat, clearly satisfied with his kissing skills.
Francis felt a heat building in his lower abdomen. He cupped Jennifer's chin and pulled back slightly, asking in a low voice, "Upstairs?"
The upper floor here was a hotel, convenient for guests to rest after a late night or for couples who hit it off to have a one-night stand. The waitress had reminded Jennifer of this earlier.

After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire's Arms
From first crush to wedding vows, George Capulet and I had been inseparable. But in our seventh year of marriage, he began an affair with his secretary.
On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.

Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human
A Lesson in Magic
Claimed by the Alpha's Love
Four years ago, Fiona's meticulously planned conspiracy turned me from an ordinary omega into a prisoner carrying the weight of a murder charge.
Four years later, I return to a world that has changed beyond recognition.
My best friend Fiona, who is also my stepsister, has become the perfect daughter in my mother's eyes. And my ex-boyfriend, Ethan, is about to hold a high-profile mating ceremony with her.
The love, family bonds, and reputation that I once cherished have all been taken by Fiona.
Just when I had reached my breaking point, questioning the very purpose of my existence, the legendary Alpha Lucas of Moonhaven suddenly appeared in my life.
He is powerful and enigmatic, a figure that all werewolves hold in awe.
Yet, he shows an extraordinary persistence and tenderness towards me.
Is Lucas's appearance a gift from fate, or the start of another conspiracy?
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
