I'm running late for my job. Mia left without waking me up. Oh god, why is she keeping doing this every day? Now I don't have time to take a bath.

As I am walking in at the bakery, Mr. James welcomes me with a smile.

"Don't worry, let's start. The customers are waiting," he said.

I turn my gaze at the tv to keep my mind busy. I don't know if I want to find my mate. My mother always told me that the mate bond is powerful and you can't resist once you find your mate. I'm without a pack for two years, and I want to have one again. I know Mia wants it too, but she doesn't talk about it. She seem so carefree but i know her better, after all we grew up together, she is like the sister i never had.

It's very dangerous to be a rogue because other packs might attack you. That's why we decided to settle down in the human city at first to avoid passing by other packs, but it's getting lonely. Especially for me,because I am an alpha's daughter and my wolf feel way more uncomfortable without a pack.

I don't mind if we are safe that way, I can deal with it.

"Dinner is ready," I heard Mia shout from the kitchen, and I head there.

"It smells incredible. What is it? "

"Pizza, but I forgot to put the cokes in the fridge" She grinned at me.

"You ... "

"Don't blame me. I like it better when you do it ."

I laughed with her and took both Coke's in my hands. In a second, I have them in the best temperature.

"Like I love them."

"You are lucky that I love you, otherwise, I would let you drink them hot."

"Don't call me that. I feel like the cartoon." I groan.

"'The frozen?"

" Oh Goddess, yes."

" Hey, it's a gift, so don't hate it ." She said but I don't answer her and I start eating my pizza.

I know my power is rare, i hadn't met any warewolf with powers like mine. My parents help a lot to learn how to control it.

After we finished, Mia told me that she would go for a drink with her friend from work. She pressured me to go with her, but I wasn't in the mood, so I head back to my room to sleep.

I wake up from a weird noise. Oh god, did Mia return with a man? I sniff the air and I'm shocked when I smell another werewolf in the house. I run into the living room, where I found Mia with a man on the sofa. As soon they notice me, they stop and I can see that Mia is red like a tomato.

" Mia?" I couldn't believe it. My friend with another male. How?

"Ella .. he is my mate." My mouth turned in a big 0, and now I can see how she looks at him.

On the other hand, the guy looks like he is thinking something, but he got up and came in front of me, and he gave me his hand.

" Blake, nice to meet. I didn't know that you... I mean, you are a human, and you know about us."

Oh yes, I forgot I'm human for him. I take his hand, and I shake it. From his aura, I can tell that he is a Beta. Mia came next to us, and Blake looked at her with so much love in his eyes. They look beautiful together. They even have the same characteristics. Brown hair and green eyes except that my friend is way too sort next to him.

I excuse myself, and I get to my room because I want to let them be alone. I lay down, and I start to think about how my life will change from tomorrow. Mia will go with her mate, and I will be alone, but I can't do anything about this, and I will never let my best friend not be happy for me.

The following day I wake up, and I remember that it is Sunday. I love Sundays because I don't work and I have all day to do stuff which i want. I got up to change clothes and walk into the kitchen only to find my lovely couple there.

"Good morning, guys " I said smiling at them.

"Good morning Ella. Come and sit. I have made coffee."

" You are the best." I winked at her. I sat with them to enjoy my breakfast.

"Ella, I want to tell you that we will leave as soon as Mia picks up her stuff." Blake told me and i nod.

I don't know what to say, I didn't believe that they will leave so soon. I don't feel ready to say goodbye to her. I took a deep breath in an attempt to keep my tears in.

"Who told you that I would leave?" I turned to look Mia. She can't mean that. All female wolfs follow their mates.

"What do you mean?" Now Blake got up, he is looking at her, and his eyes are turning black. Shit, I don't want an angry male werewolf at my house.

"Mia, you have to go with your mate." I tried to say, but she ignored me.

"I will not leave her alone." she screamed.

"You choose her over me? YOUR MATE?"

"You can't do that, and you know it." I said to her.

Now she is looking between Blake and me, and she starts to cry. Blake panic and went over there to hug her.

"Don't cry, baby!"

"She is my only family. I can't live without her ."

Blake took a deep breath.

"She can come with us at the pack!" He said.

What? Is he serious he will let a human live with them?

Yes, a pack. Go please.

I block my wolf from my mind. I can't deal with her now.

"Thank you. Thank you." Mia said and she hug him. As soon she look at me, she wink at me.

I can't believe this girl, she made all this drama on purpose, I shook my head.

Now that we are calm, we sat again to finish our breakfast.

" Blake, can I ask you a question?" I said.

"Yes, sure."

"Maybe I'm a human, but I know few things thanks to Mia. Are you sure your Alpha will accept a human to his pack?"

"Probably not, but I will tell him the story. After all, my little girl is going to be the beta female, so she will have a word."

"Ok, thank you. What Is your pack name?"

"Black Stone."

When I heard the name, my wolf start to be over-excited! That is the biggest pack in America, and the alpha is known as a killing machine. Only at the thought of him, my wolf gives a headache.

Oh my Godness, I can feel her jump up and down like a pup. I ignored her and I went back to my room to pack my stuff. I called my boss to quit my job because I know that I will not return any time soon. I hope they will accept me. I look myself in the mirror, and I fix my white hair in a high ponytail, I look around my room one last time and walk out.

Blake pick up our suitcases and put them in his car, and we start our way to the Black Stone pack.

As soon as we get into the forest my wolf got excited, I didn't have the chance to shift the last two years but I will make sure to find a secret place to let her free. This area is huge and after an hour in the forest I can see the first houses. All the people stop whatever they were doing to look at us. I'm nervous about all this and my wolf can't give me a break.

The car came to a stop in front of a big house that look like a mansion. I catch a mouthwatering smell, rain and honey. Then i saw that outside was standing a man looking like a Greek God, with tan skin and a muscular body. Ηe has short black hair that fit perfectly his face and my wolf is screaming one word in my head.
