Chapter 1
Today was the Johnson family gathering, and several men's eyes were on Alice Baker.
Under the table, however, Michael Johnson gently hooked Alice's leg.
Watching her flirt with other men, he just wanted to strip Alice naked and punish her harshly.
Alice shivered, almost dropping her fork.
She quickly got up, saying she was going to the restroom which was on the second floor, and Michael followed her upstairs, locking the room.
She pressed against his chest. "Michael, no."
"It sounds more like a yes." His eyes narrowed slightly, a meaningful smirk on his face.
She had a red mole on her back, occasionally visible when she lowered her head, which always turned him on.
"No, not here..." her voice was barely above a whisper.
"Shut up." Annoyed by her talking, he tore her clothes off, pinned her against the door, and bit that red mole hard, then entered her fiercely.
Alice's eyes reddened, biting her lower lip hard, not daring to make a sound.
But he was particularly wild this time, fucking her until she was dizzy, low moans escaping her lips.
Hearing her moans, he got even more excited and fastened.
Until a sudden sharp pain hit her lower belly, she desperately pushed Michael away.
"Michael, it hurts!" Her voice carried a hint of pleading, but he didn't care, his movement unchanged, even plunged his tongue into her mouth.
In the end, Alice had to bite down hard.
The pain on his tongue made Michael a bit more sober, looking at Alice with dissatisfaction. "You..."
As soon as he spoke, he smelled blood, and Alice was clutching her stomach, slowly squatting down.
Seeing the blood between her legs, Michael clicked his tongue impatiently. "Period? What a hassle."
Michael suddenly lost all interest and went straight to the bathroom. When he came out, Alice was still squatting on the floor. "Michael, my stomach hurts..."
Her eyes were filled with tears, her face pale, her body trembling slightly from the pain.
Michael casually threw his coat on her. "Put on your clothes and leave through the back door, don't disturb the party."
With that, he left the room.
It took a long time for Alice to recover from the pain, get dressed, and quietly leave through the back door.
When Alice was wheeled out of the operating room, she was still in a daze.
She had a miscarriage.
The doctor sighed at her blank expression. "Miscarriage happens the most easily in the early stages of pregnancy! Is your husband here?"
Alice stared at the IV bottle, her eyes empty, as if she didn't hear the doctor.
A woman in the next bed quickly took out her bag. "She came to the hospital alone, her things are with me, she hasn't..."
"I'm not married," Alice said, struggling to sit up, taking the form from the doctor to fill it out.
The name she just wrote was smudged with tears. Only then did she realize that she was crying.
She lay in the hospital all day, the first time she missed work in ten years.
It wasn't until eleven at night that Michael called, "You've been off work the whole day. Come to Midnight Mirage Tavern."
The noise on the other end of the line made Alice realize it was Michael's friend Jeremy Wright's birthday, and she was supposed to be there to cover for Michael.
She was about to say she was in the hospital when Michael's cold voice interrupted, "You have twenty minutes, don't make me repeat myself."
The call ended abruptly, and she knew he was angry.
She struggled to get up, asked the doctor for a painkiller, and left the hospital.
On the way, she quickly put on makeup and bought a dress from a roadside shop to change into.
Alice's features were striking, and with makeup, she looked even more aloof.
When she arrived at the bar, the waiter immediately recognized her. "Ms. Baker, Mr. Johnson and the others are in private room 209."
Alice nodded slightly and went straight to the second floor.
As soon as she entered the room, someone pulled her over, and she heard Michael's cold voice, "Jeremy, Alice is here now. Aurora is allergic to alcohol, don't make it hard for her."
Jeremy immediately wrapped his arm around Alice's slim waist. "Alice, I told you to be with me! Look at Michael, he's so biased, he can't bear to let his little girlfriend Aurora drink, so he calls you to accompany me."
"It's my birthday today, come on, you owe me a toast!" Jeremy urged.
Alice squinted, trying to adjust to the dim light, and finally saw the girl next to Michael.
She remembered her, the new intern from the secretarial department, Aurora Rivera.
Aurora looked scared, clinging to Michael's arm, timidly looking at Alice. "Alice, I'm sorry, it's my first time at such a gathering, Mr. Johnson is just taking care of me a bit."
Her eyes were red, like a bullied little rabbit, instantly arousing others' protective instincts.
Michael held her in his arms, gently comforting her, "You didn't do anything wrong, she's my secretary, this is her job, don't be afraid."
Alice was momentarily dazed, she had never heard Michael speak to her so gently.
The others could also hear Michael's favoritism towards Aurora and they comforted her, while Aurora kept looking at Alice fearfully, as if she really didn't understand anything.
Alice lowered her eyes, understanding everything.
Jeremy's birthday was attended by people from the upper class, and Michael brought Aurora, showing his care andsignaling to everyone that Aurora was his girlfriend.
And Alice was just a secretary called to handle the drinks.
Alice took a deep breath and raised a glass of alcohol. "Mr. Wright, happy birthday, this drink is for you."
Drinking alcohol on the day of a miscarriage, she really didn't care about her life.
But Michael just watched coldly from the side, watching her drink one glass after another, never saying a word for her.
In the end, not knowing what Aurora said to him, Michael stood up. "Sorry, Aurora is tired, I'll take her home."
Everyone scolded him for being a womanizer, but he just smiled and waved, not looking at Alice once.
At three in the morning, Alice staggered out of Midnight Mirage Tavern.
As soon as she stepped out, she saw Michael's car. She opened the door and collapsed in the back seat, falling asleep.
Half-asleep, she felt a man's hot breath on her face, rough hands groping her body.
Alice woke up with a start, feeling Michael's erection, she struggled, but the next moment her hands were tied above her head with a tie.
He held her waist tightly, kissing her chest with small, intense kisses.
Thinking that her waist was held by Jeremy in the private room just now, Michael bit down hard on the soft curves at her waist..
"Michael! What are you doing!" Alice cried out in pain, tears streaming down her face, he smirked and unbuckled his belt, lifting her skirt.
Seeing her panties, he cursed under his breath, how could he forget about yesterday?
Alice quickly sat up, tearing off the tie from her hands, her face still flushed, not understanding his sudden madness.
Seeing his growing cock, she thought of Aurora's innocent eyes. "Why didn't you spend the night with her?"
"She's just a girl." Michael lifted Alice's chin, rubbing her lips.
Alice choked, barely able to speak, he could let her handle all the drinks, but couldn't hurt Aurora in the slightest.
She asked hoarsely, "Do you like her?"
She couldn't tell if Michael hummed or agreed, the next second she was pressed between his legs.
His playful voice echoed from above, "If it's your time of the month, your mouth will suffice, too."

The Moon's Descendant
“You think I’m going to let my daughter sleep with whoever she wants” he spat. He kicked me in the ribs, sending me flying back across the floor.
“I didn’t” I coughed, gasping for air.
I felt as though my chest had caved in. I thought I was about to vomit when Hank grabbed my hair and lifted my head. CRACK. It was like my eye had exploded inside my skull when he punched me in the face. I landed on the cold concrete and pressed my face onto the floor. He used his foot to roll me over so that I was on my back.
“Look at you, you disgusting c**t” he huffed as he crouched down beside me and wiped the hair from my face. He smiled, a terrifying evil smile.
“I have something extra special for you tonight” he whispered.

"Let's get a divorce. Christina is back."
“I know you’re pissed,” he murmured. “Let me make it up to you.”
His hands found my waist, warm and unyielding, sliding down the curve of my spine to cup my ass.
I pushed against his chest, half-heartedly, my resolve crumbling as he pressed me back onto the bed.
“You’re an asshole,” I breathed, even as I felt him nudge closer, the tip of him brushing my entrance.
Then the phone rang—sharp, insistent—snapping us out of the haze.
It was Christina.
So I disappeared, carrying a secret I hoped my husband would never discover.
A pack of their own

Strings of Fate
Like all children, I was tested for magic when I was only a few days old. Since my specific bloodline is unknown and my magic is unidentifiable, I was marked with a delicate swirling pattern around my upper right arm.
I do have magic, just as the tests showed, but it has never lined up with any known Magic species.
I can't breathe fire like a dragon Shifter, or hex people who piss me off like Witches. I can't make potions like an Alchemist or seduce people like a Succubus. Now I don't mean to be unappreciative of the power I do have, it's interesting and all, but it just really doesn't pack much of a punch and most of the time it is just pretty much useless. My special magical skill is the ability to see threads of fate.
Most of life is annoying enough for me, and what never occurred to me is that my mate is a rude, pompous nuisance. He's an Alpha and my friend's twin brother.
“What are you doing? This is my home, you can't just let yourself in!” I try and keep my voice firm but when he turns and fixes me with his golden eyes I shrink back. The look he gives me is imperious and I automatically drop my eyes to the floor as is my habit. Then I force myself to look back up again. He doesn't notice me looking up because he's already looked away from me. He's being rude, I refuse to show that he's scaring me, even though he most definitely is. He glances around and after realising that the only place to sit is the little table with its two chairs he points to it.
“Sit.” he orders. I glare at him. Who is he to order me around like this? How can someone this obnoxious possibly be my soul mate? Maybe I'm still asleep. I pinch my arm and my eyes water a little from the sting of pain.
My Bullies My Lovers
Her best friend, Jax, not even realizing who she was until he saw a distinctive scar on Skylar's stomach showed him who she was and when he took his two new friends to her house, only to see that the kids at school weren't the only ones bullying her.
She was on the verge of committing suicide because of her father's abuse, so she agrees to an alliance with Jax and his friends to destroy her father and everything that he holds dear to him.
What she didn't expect, what the feeling that the three men would inevitably develop for her or the ones that she would develop for all of them.
Chasing My Rejected Luna
Tegan Declan was a shy she-wolf who was born deaf. Starting a new life as a disabled wolf in a new pack. She is the new contracted mate to the Alpha king, Ezra Hendricks.
“Being deaf was a quality I would hate my son to have. As a wolf, you need all your senses to be able to lead, protect, and stay alive. Lacking hearing would not benefit anyone, it could lead to mass destruction and the loss of many lives. It would not be a good quality for a king. This brought me back to my question. What makes her think she is fit to be my Queen? I want to know what she thinks her strengths are. Would they outweigh her weaknesses?”
