“ Help!!, Is anyone here? Please save me!. Let go of me. Help!! Help!! My voice echoed in the wood as I struggled to free myself from unknown men.

They were five in number, and I couldn't fight back.

“ Open your dirty legs if you don't want to die ". The one who seemed to be the leader yelled impatiently at me.

“ Don't touch me ", I roared back at him. They pinned my hands to the floor and widened my legs.

“ Help!! ", I screamed with my last strength.

“ What's going on here? ", A deep voice calmly asked. I'm sure he isn't one of them, so I opened my eyes.

A very tall figure elite from a donkey. He is putting on traditional warrior attire. His long, dark hair fell on his shoulders, making him look like a king.

His large gold eyes pierced through my soul. Numerous horses and Carmel were approaching us.

“ I asked again. What is going on here? ", He said calmly, but that voice could scare anyone to death.

“ Please help me ", I finally found words. I crawled to him and stood behind him.

“ They want to rap me ", I said with a trembling voice. Gently, I held his robe at the back.

“ Leave if you value your lives ", His powerful voice filled the air.

“ King Lucien, is there a problem? ", A young man asked as the horses and Carmel stopped behind us.

“ King Lucien. It's him ", I said to myself. I knew it was him, but I needed to be sure.

Facing this man again made my veins pump with anger and desperation.

Before he could speak, the men who wanted to rap me were already on their heels. They ran into the woods.

“ Nothing, let's proceed ", Lucien said as he climbed onto his donkey, leaving me behind without saying a word to me.

I grabbed his left leg with both arms. Lucien looked down at me with no expression.

“ Let go ". He said. Everyone would panic, but I refused.

“ Please, don't leave me here ", I pleaded with teary eyes, and I couldn't control my tears.

“ You are not my responsibility. Find your way back to the city ", Lucien replied with zero guilt.

“ Haahh ", He yelled as he pulled his donkey. Other trolls of horses and Carmel followed him.

I didn't stop looking at him. The man I would stop at nothing to kill.

" Indeed, he is as heartless as ever “, I mumbled.

What now?!!. Lucien rode back, and I fixed my eyes on his.

" Your hands, He said to me as he gently stretched his hand for me to hold on to.

" Thank… Thank you “, I stammered happily. I never knew he would come back for me.

Lucien placed me at the front of his donkey with his hand around my waist, and he kicked the donkey.

It was a long and silent ride. He didn't even say a word to me; the only noise was his heartbeat.

After what seems like an eternity, we finally arrived. All the soldiers came down from their horses and Carmel.

Lucien was still at my back. I looked up, and I was surprised at how gigantic the palace looked.

The building is made of glowing crystal, gold, and white jade. There are multi-tiered roofs, all carrying a dragon statue.

“ Indeed, he is Lucien the dragon king ", I said to myself. My gaze fell on the mighty gates guarded by 7 giant rocks. I felt goosebumps all of a sudden.

" All hail the dragon king of the Eastern Ocean, One of the warriors said.

" Hail, King Lucien Drakulov!! Hail King Lucien Drakulov!! ", They all chorus happily.

“ We won. The battle wasn't an easy one, but I'm grateful that we all returned alive and victorious. You shall all go home and spend time with your family, wife, and children ", Lucien declared.

I could sense he was happy, but his emotions didn't show.

In the group, the warriors all left. His servants walked up to him. They collected his armor, sword, and arrows.

“ King Lucien, is she a new maid “, One of his servants asked him.

I guess that was when Lucien remembered that I existed.

" No, she will be our guest, He responded, and they all left. Lucien also turned to leave, but after a few steps, he stopped.

It has a warm atmosphere and the glowing light from Pearl lamps.
