Omega For The Alpha King (BL)
Mirian · Ongoing · 92.3k Words
Introduction
Oliver was excited—it was a chance to earn some money and possibly find his mate, a win-win situation. So he left for the party the next day.
During the night of the event, Oliver saw the Alpha King from a distance. Then he heard a word he never expected to hear so soon, and a strong pull formed toward the Alpha King.
Mate.
The pull was immediate and undeniable.
But Oliver did not know then that being a weak omega would make that bond something the Alpha King would never publicly acknowledge—that instead of a mate, Oliver would be kept in the shadows, treated as nothing more than a sex toy.
Chapter 1
In the small and nice apartment of Oliver, the smell of bread baked just now fills the air. He was on his old work table measuring fabric with caution to sew wear for Mrs. Harper's daughter that had been delicately embroidered. His fingers were numb and worked fast as he deftly passed through the needle into soft silk.
Oliver's mind wandered back to the upcoming event at the Alpha King's castle. It was all anyone in the pack could talk about—the grand Mate-Finding Party. He had never dreamed he would have a reason to set foot in such a magnificent place as the Pack Castle, let alone be part of the festival.
But there, the invitation sent to him was on top of a small table in a corner.
While working on a new dress the day before, Oliver saw a green light shining brightly across his room, so he moved closer toward it. He saw a piece of paper that looked like a letter that was suspended in mid-air. The letter opened on its own, and the content was read for him to hear.
To Oliver Baker
Please accept my warm invitation to attend the annual Finding Mate Festival at the Alpha's Castle tomorrow. You have been chosen as a prestigious person in our society; hence, you are expected to be one of the waiters for our esteemed guests.
Ensure that this letter is untouched until tomorrow when the festival will be held. Upon your readiness, only then should you open and respond to it.
We will be glad if you join us in celebrating this auspicious occasion.
After that, the letter fell, and the blinding light dimmed until it disappeared completely. Oliver couldn't believe it; he was invited to the festival.
Although he was invited as a waiter, he was still excited because the Mate-Finding Party would be a great opportunity to earn some extra money to take care of his siblings and pay off some debts that were piling up.
"Brother Oliver! Can you help me with my buttons?" A small voice called from the doorway. He looked up to see his youngest sister, Lily, holding out her tiny dress, the buttons at the back out of her reach.
"Of course, Lily. Come here." He set aside his work and knelt, fastening the buttons with care. "There you go, all set."
"Thank you!" She beamed, giving him a quick hug before rushing off to join her twin brother, Luke, in their game.
Oliver observed them briefly, his heart expanding with love. His brothers and sisters were everything to him, and he would do anything to make sure they stayed that way.
In the evening, Oliver set out dinner on the table. He wiped off his greasy hands with a white handkerchief and got rid of the smell of onions.
"Alright! Dinner is served! Now, both of you come," Oliver said as they came one after another from their little dollhouse, rushing for food at the dining table.
Lily took a spoonful of it in her mouth and savored the taste that spread over her tongue. "Brother Oliver, all your foods are always tasty. I heard that tomorrow morning there will be a mate-finding ceremony, so I hope Brother Oliver finds a mate," she said.
"Yes, me too," Luke replied, licking his lips with a thumbs-up sign.
"If Brother Oliver finds his mate tonight, then there is no doubt that she will love Brother Oliver's cooking, just like me," Lily told them.
Oliver chuckled at their innocence. These siblings of his always act like fangirls and fanboys whenever he cooks or takes care of them. They'd be teasing him any chance they got.
"I hope she loves my cooking too," Oliver said with a smile while staring up at the ceiling in a daze. After staring for a few seconds, he sat beside them to have his dinner.
"Brother Oliver, what type of women do you like?" Lily innocently asked, making Oliver choke on the sauce he had in his mouth. He coughed violently for a few seconds, and Luke quickly gave him a glass of water. Oliver chugged it down his throat and put down the glass when the coughing stopped. His ears turned pure red as he stammered, trying to find an answer to Lily's question.
"Who taught you that?" In the end, this question was what Oliver could come up with in response to Lily's question.
"Brother Oliver, you didn't answer my question," Lily said with a pout.
"Brother Oliver, I would like to know too! " Luke said, nodding his head in agreement.
Oliver said, "Well, she should be tall, but not taller than me, and she should be beautiful and kind," his ears turning even redder.
Oliver wasn't as tall as other men his age; instead, he had the height and stature of a petite woman. His friends had even teased him that he was the product of a man praying to the moon goddess for a male, and a woman praying for a female. They joked that it would've been better if he grew a pair of boobs overnight because he looked nothing like a guy.
Oliver would just chuckle while listening to their jokes, never taking them seriously.
"Wow," Lily said, staring at Oliver with innocent amazement.
"That's the end to the questions; now eat," Oliver said, and they continued eating.

The next morning came faster than Oliver could imagine. Oliver quickly prepared breakfast and dinner, storing dinner inside a freezer so that it wouldn't get bad.
He quickly served breakfast, watching as Lily and Luke ate their breakfast with drowsy eyes. He felt guilty for having to wake them up so early to have breakfast but he had no other choice. If he didn't, he would end up going to the festival late and it would take him four or five more weeks to earn the amount of money he was about to earn today.
He needed enough money to pay so that they could be able to attend the academy.
"Okay, I am going, Take care of yourself. I want to see the house the same way I left it when I get back, you hear me?" Oliver said with a stern look on his face.
"Yes, Brother Oliver, bye," Lily and Luke say at the same time while waving at him.
"And if I come back late, Warm the soup I left in the freezer and eat," Oliver says and when they nod, he walks back into his room and stares at the letter on the small table.
As Oliver approaches the invitation letter, his hand trembles as he reaches out to grab it. As soon as he made contact, the letter began to glow, emitting a mesmerizing beam of light that gradually surrounded him. The radiance intensified, forcing Oliver to shield his eyes with his hands as he braced himself for what was to come.
Suddenly, Oliver felt his whole being travel into a different space, and Oliver could only open his eyes when the light had diminished.
Oliver gasped as he took in the sight before him. He was standing in the middle of a huge counter and Oliver could swear that this counter was made of gold.
Real gold!
For a person like Oliver who was born in poverty and grew up in poverty, it was a sight to behold. If only he could snag a piece, he wouldn't have to worry about bills and money.
"Listen up!" A deep smooth voice said, followed by a clap to get his... their attention.
That was when Oliver noticed that he wasn't alone and his clothes had been changed!
Before he appeared in the castle, he was putting on a Grey shirt and black trousers but now he had on a black suit and trousers with a black tie. His hair was even styled backward.
Oliver always knew that magic existed in the pack and that people amongst the highest rank used it, like the Alpha, beta, warrior chief, and the rest...
Oliver was so lost in observing the people around him and thinking deeply that he failed to notice the festival's head waiter had already established the rules and other details.
"Come, let's do our part of the job," A bluff guy said walking towards Oliver with 6 or 7 other guys beside him.
Oliver didn't know what they meant but still nodded to avoid being embarrassed.

How Not To Fall For A Dragon
Which is why it was more than a little confusing when a letter arrived with my name already printed on a schedule, a dorm waiting, and classes picked out as if someone knew me better than I knew myself. Everyone knows the Academy, it’s where witches sharpen their spells, shifters master their forms, and every kind of magical creature learns to control their gifts.
Everyone except me.
I don’t even know what I am. No shifting, no magic tricks, nothing. Just a girl surrounded by people who can fly, conjure fire, or heal with a touch. So I sit through classes pretending I belong, and I listen hard for any clue that might tell me what’s hidden in my blood.
The only person more curious than me is Blake Nyvas, tall, golden-eyed, and very much a Dragon. People whisper that he’s dangerous, warn me to keep my distance. But Blake seems determined to solve the mystery of me, and somehow I trust him more than anyone else.
Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s dangerous.
But when everyone else looks at me like I don’t belong, Blake looks at me like I’m a riddle worth solving.
The Unwritten Princess
My name is Mia, and everything I touch is dying.
The flowers beneath my mother's window turned black overnight. The herbs I gathered at dawn rotted in my hands. When the court wizard finally told me the truth—that someone cursed me, that my presence would kill everyone I love—I realized the prophecy everyone believed was never meant to save the kingdom. It was meant to destroy me.
So I ran. Not to fulfill some destiny, but to survive it.
Now I'm traveling with a hunter who lost his companions to the same curse I carry, chasing fragments of a prophecy the Fae sing differently. An elf took a baby from the palace the night I was born. And somewhere between the lies I've been told and the truth I'm hunting, I'm starting to suspect: What if I'm not the princess from the prophecy at all?

I Found the Babies
"When..." He growled in my ear, "When we will be getting married, I will be your only king, do you get my point? Only one queen, no misters or mistresses. Just me, just you, and yeah, our babies."
I shivered.
Alyssa Reynolds found herself in a situation, while returning home from work, and she had three choices:
Simply walk away and forget that you ever heard the sound of wailing infants.
Call the police and inform them about the innocent wails.
Follow the sounds of the wails and take the matter in your hands, deciding what to do later.
Being a kindhearted soul and a sucker for babies, she found herself choosing the third option, finding the two little lives.
Two little lives that changed her whole life, her love life included. Her life now revolved around the babies as diapers, vomit and shit seemed to surround her.
Just when she thought that now it's just her and the babies, her whole world flipped over and she found herself living under the same roof as the egotistical, obnoxious and hot-as-hell Terence Powers, the business tycoon who was not going to let the woman fend off for herself and the babies alone.
