Pregnant, Divorced, and Married to the Don

Introduction
The words hit me like a thunderbolt, just as I was about to tell my husband the IVF had finally worked.
The child inside my womb... it's not even my own flesh and blood?
I found the doctor and held a gun to his head, threatening him for the truth, but instead, he revealed an even bigger secret: the child's father was someone else, too.
Chapter 1
"Olivia Spencer, congratulations. The IVF was a success. Go home and get plenty of rest."
My hands trembled as I stared at the positive pregnancy test report.
Finally. It finally worked.
My husband, Ethan Smith, and I had been married for three years, a journey marked by the heartbreak of one miscarriage. Now, with the help of IVF, we were finally having our child again.
I couldn't wait to get home and share the news with Ethan, to see the surprise light up his face.
As I approached our front door, I noticed the villa's door was slightly ajar. The voices of Ethan and his mother drifted out.
"God willing, I hope Olivia's pregnancy is successful this time. For the sake of our family's heir."
Peeking through the crack, I saw Rhea Brown in fervent prayer. It seemed she really was invested in this pregnancy.
A smile touched my lips as I instinctively placed a hand on my still-flat stomach, ready to push the door open and give them the surprise of a lifetime.
Then, Rhea's voice came again, laced with something I couldn't quite place. "Ethan, what if Olivia finds out the baby isn't hers after she's pregnant? Do you think she'd get rid of it in a fit of rage?"
My heart plummeted. The hand I'd raised to push the door froze mid-air.
What did that mean?
What did she mean that the baby in my belly wasn't mine?
"Don't worry, Mom. She'll never know we swapped the eggs."
Ethan's voice was the same deep baritone I knew, but now it carried a chilling indifference that seeped into my bones. "Once she delivers my and Sophia's child, I'll find an excuse to divorce her."
I stood rooted to the spot, the world spinning around me. I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
Sophia Johnson, Ethan's ex-girlfriend. They had been forced to break up years ago because of intense family opposition.
I had always assumed they'd cut ties completely. I never imagined he was still carrying a torch for her.
And the most horrifying part? The child I had celebrated, the one I had fought tooth and nail for was his and another woman's.
"Good." Rhea's tone was dripping with disdain. "If it wasn't for your father insisting on her, I would never have approved of a woman with no background becoming our daughter-in-law. Sophia is so much better, beautiful, from a good family, we've known her since she was a little girl."
"If she hadn't manipulated my father into liking her, Sophia never would have been forced to lose that first baby," Ethan added, his voice cold as ice. "This time, consider it her paying Sophia back."
The words pierced my heart like a thousand needles, stealing the air from my lungs.
Memories flashed through my mind. After we got married, Ethan had been so good to me, so attentive. In everyone's eyes, he was the perfect husband.
But I never, ever thought that he didn't want to marry me at all.
"You've been married for three years with nothing to show for it. I just don't know if this IVF will even take," Rhea lamented, her voice full of theatrical regret.
"Mom, it was me. I'm the reason she couldn't get pregnant."
Ethan lowered his voice, but every word hammered against my eardrums like a sledgehammer.
"I swapped her vitamin supplements with birth control pills."
"What?" Rhea gasped.
"That woman doesn't deserve to bear my child," Ethan stated, his tone leaving no room for argument. "The mother of my children can only be Sophia."
My heart felt like it was being squeezed in a vise. My mind went blank. My entire world was collapsing.
No wonder he always acted so gentle and understanding whenever I blamed myself for our infertility.
It was all a lie. He didn't care because he never wanted me to have his child in the first place.
Looking back now, all his affection, all his tenderness, was just an elaborately staged performance.
He went to such lengths to convince me to do IVF, only so he could switch my eggs with Sophia's.
I was nothing more than a carefully selected tool. A vessel chosen to carry someone else's baby.
A disposable container to be thrown away once I'd served my purpose.
I didn't know how I managed to walk away from there.
When I came to my senses, I was standing in front of the hospital.
Remembering the report in my purse, I stormed straight into the office of the doctor who had performed my procedure—Aiden Evans.
"Dr. Evans!"
I threw the door open, yanking a startled Aiden from his chair. "You tell me! Whose baby am I carrying?!"
Aiden's face went pale, his eyes darting away. "Mrs. Smith, I... I don't understand what you mean. The child is, of course, yours and Mr. Smith's."
"Is it?" I cut through the bullshit, pulling a handgun from my purse and pressing the cold, dark muzzle firmly against his forehead.
"I'm going to ask you one last time," I snarled. "Whose. Child. Is. It?"
Aiden was terrified but tried to feign composure. "Pulling a gun on someone in a hospital is a felony! You'll go to jail! You'd better think this through!"
"Oh, I've thought it through."
I jammed the barrel harder against his skin, my gaze like ice. "You probably don't know this, but my father was Special Forces. If I kill you here today, the police might not even find your body."
I rarely brought up my family. That part of my past was something I preferred not to revisit.
But this was about my child. I was past caring about anything else.
The crisp click of the safety being disengaged was the final straw. The threat of death finally made his legs give out, and he crumpled to the floor.
He knelt there, babbling incoherently. "I'll talk! I'll tell you everything! It was Mr. Smith, he gave me a huge sum of money to switch your eggs with another woman's! But the nurse was too nervous, and when she was handling the samples, she grabbed the wrong one!"
My heart skipped a beat, but the hand holding the gun didn't waver. "Explain. Clearly."
Aiden swallowed hard, trembling. "What I mean is the nurse didn't switch your egg! She accidentally switched Mr. Smith's sperm sample!"
I froze.
A wave of delirious joy and immense absurdity washed over me.
In the span of a single day, I had been through shock, grief, and rage.
And now, hearing this, I felt a sliver of relief.
It seemed this child was mine after all. My own biological child.
But after the relief came a new, pressing question.
"Then who's the father?" I kept the gun aimed at him.
Aiden hesitated again.
"You don't want to say? Fine. I'll just shoot you, then leak this whole sample-swapping scandal to the press. Your family will be so ashamed they won't be able to show their faces in public for the rest of their lives."
It was a bluff, of course.
The gun was a realistic replica, completely unloaded, but it was more than enough to terrify a doctor who'd never seen a day of real trouble.
As expected, Aiden flinched. After a long, agonizing struggle, he finally gave up. "It's Damien Costello," he cried. "The Don of the Costello family."
I was utterly stunned. "Damien? How is that even possible?"
I'd never even crossed paths with Damien Costello. How could I possibly be carrying his child?
"It's true."
Shaking, Aiden fumbled through a filing cabinet and pulled out an IVF consent form. There, on the line for the father's signature, was the unmistakable name: Damien Costello.

The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."

The mafia princess return
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The War God Alpha's Arranged Bride
Yet Alexander made his decision clear to the world: “Evelyn is the only woman I will ever marry.”
Invisible To Her Bully
My Possessive Alpha Twins For Mate
My drunk stepfather remained indifferent, his weight suffocating, making it hard to breathe as my heart raced.
Suddenly, the door slammed open, and two figures burst in.
"Get off her!" a deafening roar echoed.
I didn't expect the twin brothers who'd bullied me at school to come charging in like gods to save me.
After my grandmother passed, I had to move in with my mom and stepdad, who treated me like a servant. I prayed every day for my 18th birthday to come, so l could leave and escape this broken home.
However, on my first day at my new school, l encountered the legendary twins everyone feared.
To make matters worse, the Moon Goddess revealed they were both my mates!
After helping me out with my stepdad, my twin mate cornered me, played with my hair, and whispered possessively, "You belong to us, our little mate..."
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
Falling for my boyfriend's Navy brother

Why does being near him make my skin feel too tight, like I’m wearing a sweater two sizes too small?
It’s just newness, I tell myself firmly.
He’s my boyfirend’s brother.
This is Tyler’s family.
I’m not going to let one cold stare undo that.

I shouldn’t care.
I don’t care.
It’s not my problem if Tyler’s an idiot.
It’s not my business if some spoiled little princess has to walk home in the dark.
I’m not here to rescue anyone.
Especially not her.
Especially not someone like her.
She’s not my problem.
And I’ll make damn sure she never becomes one.
But when my eyes fell on her lips, I wanted her to be mine.
