Introduction
Colton let out a wicked laughter that made my tears stung so hard.
"I'm sick of you, wretched bitch" He said fixing his gaze directly at me.
"I'll take everything from you,” Kylie whispered. "Your love, your life, everything. I want all of Daddy's attention on me, where it belongs”
Suddenly Colton pulled out the small penknife, Then the blade flashed through my chest, my vision blurred, and all I could see was darkness.
Then something shifted and light burned in my eyes.
I was standing in the restaurant with Colton kneeling with a velvet ring.
The day Colton proposed.
"I'll love to marry but not to you, you don't mind me being your aunt. Do you?" I said and walked over to Colton's powerful Uncle.
I was given a second chance and this time, I was not going to let Colton go away with what he did, even if it meant making heavy sacrifices........"
Chapter 1
I stepped into the dining room and stared at the untouched plates on the table. The food had gone cold hours ago, congealed and lifeless under the dim chandelier light.
Five hours. I'd been waiting for five hours.
The clock on the wall ticked past midnight as I sank into one of the chairs, my carefully applied makeup feeling heavy on my face. I'd tried so hard tonight—wore the dress he once said he liked, cooked his favorite meal, even lit candles that had long since burned down to stubs.
I wanted to fix whatever had broken between us.
Six months. We'd been married for barely six months, and Colton had become a stranger. The warmth in his eyes from our dating days had vanished the moment he slipped that ring on my finger at the altar. Now he avoided my cooking, came home when I was already asleep, and our bedroom might as well have had a wall down the middle for how untouchable he'd become.
What had I done wrong?
Knock! Knock!
My heart leaped. I rushed to the hallway mirror, smoothing down my dress with trembling hands. Maybe tonight would be different. Maybe tonight he'd finally look at me the way he used to—or at least, the way I'd convinced myself he once did.
I took a breath and hurried to the door.
Knock! Knock!
"Coming!" I called out, forcing brightness into my voice.
I swung the door open with a smile that died instantly.
Two men in ski masks stood on my doorstep. Before I could scream, they shoved past me, their hands rough as they grabbed my arms.
"No! Get out!" I screamed, struggling against their grip.
One of them tried to tear at my dress. Panic flooded my system, sharp and cold. I wouldn't let this happen. I couldn't. I drove my knee up hard, connecting with one attacker's groin. He howled and stumbled back.
The victory lasted a second.
The other man's hand cracked across my face with such force that my vision exploded into stars. Then they were both on me, fists and feet raining down until the pain became too much, until the darkness swallowed everything
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Pain woke me.
It throbbed through every inch of my body—my ribs, my face, my arms. I tried to move but couldn't. My wrists were bound tightly to a chair, the rope cutting into my skin.
Where was I?
The room was unfamiliar, dimly lit and smelling of mildew. I blinked, trying to clear my blurred vision, trying to piece together how I'd gotten from my doorstep to... here.
Then I heard voices. Familiar voices.
I forced my head up, every muscle screaming in protest.
What I saw made me wish I'd stayed unconscious.
Colton sat on a leather sofa directly in front of me, and Kylie—my half-sister—was draped across his lap, her fingers tangled in his hair as they kissed.
The sound that escaped my throat was barely human.
"What the fuck are you doing?" The words ripped out of me, hoarse and broken.
Kylie pulled back slowly, deliberately, a smile playing on her lips as she turned to face me. "Isn't it obvious? I'm getting intimate with your husband."
The casual cruelty in her voice was like another blow. I looked at Colton, waiting for him to deny it, to push her away, to be the man I'd married.
He just stared at me with cold, empty eyes.
"Why?" My voice cracked. "Colton, why are you doing this? I gave you everything. I loved you—"
Kylie's laughter cut through the air, sharp and mocking.
"Colton, you're my husband!" Rage surged through me, giving me strength I didn't know I had left. I pulled against the ropes until my wrists burned.
"I'm sick of you, you worthless bitch." Colton's voice was flat, emotionless. He looked at me like I was nothing. "Did you really think I married you for love?"
Each word was a knife.
"I only proposed to please my grandmother. Once you're gone, I can finally be with Kylie—with someone who actually matters." He pulled my sister closer and kissed her again, slow and deliberate, making sure I saw every second of it.
The pieces fell into place with sickening clarity.
Lilian Asher. His grandmother. The woman I'd saved from drowning at the beach two years ago, who'd been so grateful she'd treated me like family ever since. Colton had used her affection for me, had used me, all to secure his place in her heart.
And I'd been so blind. So desperate to believe his love was real that I'd ignored every warning sign—the way his smiles never reached his eyes, how his touches always felt rehearsed, the convenient timing of his proposal right after his grandmother mentioned updating her will.
Tears streamed down my face, hot and bitter.
"Kylie, you're my sister," I said, my voice shaking. "My own blood. We grew up together. You've tried to take everything from me since we were children, but this? You want my husband too?"
She stood and crossed the room with predatory grace, gripping my chin hard enough to bruise. Her face was so close I could see the triumph dancing in her eyes.
"I'll take everything from you," she whispered. "Your love, your life, everything. I want all of Daddy's attention on me, where it belongs. I'm his real daughter, after all."
I met her gaze without flinching. "You're a coward. Afraid to build your own life, so you steal mine instead. You and your mother—both of you are nothing but home wreckers."
Her mother had destroyed my family, seduced my father and broken my mother's heart until there was nothing left but grief. Mom had withered away, dying of a broken heart before I'd even turned eighteen. And now Kylie was following the same twisted path.
Kylie's hand closed around my throat, squeezing. "Shut up. Shut up!"
I couldn't breathe. Black spots danced at the edges of my vision. With the last of my strength, I kicked out hard, catching her in the stomach.
She stumbled back, gasping, then her hand flew across my face.
The slap echoed in the room.

After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire's Arms
From first crush to wedding vows, George Capulet and I had been inseparable. But in our seventh year of marriage, he began an affair with his secretary.
On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.

A Lesson in Magic
Claimed by the Alpha's Love
Four years ago, Fiona's meticulously planned conspiracy turned me from an ordinary omega into a prisoner carrying the weight of a murder charge.
Four years later, I return to a world that has changed beyond recognition.
My best friend Fiona, who is also my stepsister, has become the perfect daughter in my mother's eyes. And my ex-boyfriend, Ethan, is about to hold a high-profile mating ceremony with her.
The love, family bonds, and reputation that I once cherished have all been taken by Fiona.
Just when I had reached my breaking point, questioning the very purpose of my existence, the legendary Alpha Lucas of Moonhaven suddenly appeared in my life.
He is powerful and enigmatic, a figure that all werewolves hold in awe.
Yet, he shows an extraordinary persistence and tenderness towards me.
Is Lucas's appearance a gift from fate, or the start of another conspiracy?
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
