S-Class Awakening: She Left Me, Yet I Am Her God
Jack · Completed · 6.1k Words
Introduction
Yet on the day of her awakening, she cast me out like garbage.
The night I left, her genetic collapse began.
When the Zerg invaded and she knelt begging for mercy, I walked onto the battlefield alone—where my Nullification Field passed, the Zerg Overmind was reduced to a punching bag.
Star nobles dared to touch my sister?
I single-handedly breached their orbital fortress.
Now I've established the iron law of the universe, and all races bow before me.
And that woman who once drove me away is now kneeling in acid rain, her forehead bleeding from kowtowing.
Too bad—my hot pot is ready, and I have no time to open the door.
Chapter 1
"Adrian, do you not understand?" She crossed her arms, her gaze cutting into me like frost blades. "I'm now a Federation-certified S-class psion. An ordinary person like you with zero genetic purity is no longer suitable to appear in my life."
Her tone was as light as shooing away a stray dog.
I didn't answer, just continued stuffing my meager belongings into an old military bag. Three years... three years by her side, cursed by her, despised by her, treated as a burden. Of course I knew it wasn't her fault. Her psionic energy was too violent, like a storm ready to explode at any moment. I had to suppress it, so she could sleep, move, survive.
But she didn't know.
And would never know.
"Your silence is because you feel guilty, isn't it?" She stepped closer, the arrogance of her newly awakened S-class power blooming on her face like a poisonous flower. "It's okay, a commoner like you could never understand what the S-class world is like."
I zipped up my bag and slung the strap over my shoulder. She thought she stood in the future while I remained in the mire. But in reality, the foundation beneath her feet was collapsing faster and faster.
"After you leave," she continued, her tone as casual as discussing the weather, "I'll apply to move to military quarters. Someone of my level doesn't need to crowd into the slums with you anymore."
I nodded.
"That's good."
She froze, clearly not expecting me to leave so easily. She might have been hoping I would kneel, beg her, question her, cry hysterically—any drama that would complete her sense of superiority.
But I didn't.
I just pushed open the door.
Wind rushed in, making the frost psionic energy around her flicker.
"Adrian, you'd better remember—I'm the one letting you go." She said coldly behind me. "After the war ends, I probably won't even remember your name."
I stopped and glanced at her sideways.
"I hope by then you'll still remember yourself."
She frowned, but I had already stepped into the corridor.
The air in the slums was acrid, reeking of sewage and exhaust. I descended the stairs one floor at a time, my footsteps echoing like hammering in a sealed cave. Strangely, I felt no anger. No regret either.
Only a kind of quietness.
Three years of suppressing that violent psionic energy for her, unable to fully relax even while sleeping. Now that I'd left, her genetic structure would begin showing cracks in a very short time. That power she thought she'd mastered... would consume her.
This wasn't a curse. It was inevitable.
At the street corner, I looked up at her broken window one last time.
The residual glow of psionic energy still flickered, but more agitated than usual. The frost psionic energy, lacking suppression, had begun rampaging through her neural pathways. She probably couldn't feel it yet, just thought her "head felt a bit swollen" or like she needed "another jump."
But that wasn't evolution.
That was the beginning of a fall.
I picked up my bag and stepped into the night.
The moment I left her, I felt the world grow quiet.
Truly quiet.
Even the air felt like I was breathing it for the first time.
For three years, this was the first time I walked as an ordinary person, not suppressing anyone, not guarding anything.
Walking out of the slum gates, I even exhaled lightly.
Maybe someday she would understand, maybe she never would.
It didn't matter anymore.
That wasn't my life, that wasn't where I should stay.
As for her... the backlash had already begun. No matter how she saw herself, she was no longer my responsibility.
I put my hands in my pockets and walked along the street with broken lights toward a more distant district. The wind carried dust, very cold, but strangely liberating.
This was the first time in three years I was truly alive.

The Rejected Luna’s Rise
Luna Ariana Volkstane slid the formal rejection request across the table. "Let's end this bond. It's better for you, me, and your first love."
He just smirked. "You want me to reject you? You think you can break our bond that easily?"
So she did. Ariana cut ties with him completely, poured herself into her career, and rose to global fame as a legendary healer, her knowledge of rare herbs, wolf anatomy, and ancient magic sought after across continents.
The powerful suitors lined up. The Alpha of an overseas empire whispered, "Ariana, hurry up and perform the severing ritual. I can't wait to claim you." A powerful pack leader vowed, "I'll be there with you the day you break the bond." A legendary wolf attorney promised, "I'll handle your rejection case with the pack council myself."
Ariana just rubbed her temples. It's not that she didn't want the split, she wanted it more than anything, it's just that the Alpha she was mated to refused to let go.
Finally, she announced, "Whoever can officially get me rejected, I'll put you at the head table of my bond-breaking celebration."
Not long after, Alpha Damian was served the official rejection request right in the middle of an emergency pack council meeting. That same afternoon, he was attacked by rogues at the gates of his own territory.
When Ariana showed up at the pack infirmary with healing herbs, she repeated calmly, "Let's sever the mate bond. It's better for you, me, and everyone else."
But the cold, untouchable Alpha pulled her into his arms, his eyes blood-red with fury. "You want me to reject you? Over my dead body."
