Chapter 1
"You have to do as I say Naomi, you have to seduce him, and I don't care how you do it but make sure it's done" Mrs. Stone uttered.
"Ma'am I can't do that and why do you want me to seduce your own son?" I muttered as I stared at her with confusion written all over my face.
"He is not my son, he's my stepson and I need you to seduce him so we can make up a scandal about him. My son should be the only one to inherit his father's property and the one to lead his company, not that bastard's son" Mrs. Stone replied with a stern look of hatred on her face.
"But ma'am this has nothing to do with me, you can tell your stepson that your son should be the one leading the company, why do I have to seduce him to make up a scandal?" I still couldn't understand what was going on.
"And who gave you the right to question me? If it wasn't for me, you and your mother would have been on the streets begging for your lives because of your good for nothing father, Mrs. stone barked angrily which made Naomi sigh.
"Ma'am, I'm very grateful for your help but I can't do what you are asking me to do to your stepson, and my mom has served you faithfully for years now, you can't use that against me. So can I go now?" Naomi asked eagerly. She was done listening to ridiculous requests from the woman her mom served practically all her life.
"I guess you don't know that your mom borrowed money from me to take you through college or how do you think her salary was enough to cater for your college fees?" Mrs. Stone said with a smug look on her face.
"But ma'am, she told me that you volunteered to take me through school" I muttered with my eyes widened with confusion.
"I volunteered to do no such thing; do I look like a philanthropist? Your mom told me she was going to pay back everything she owes with her salary but now she's gone and you must pay back or do what I ask if you."
"How much does she owe you?" I questioned quietly while my heart shattered into pieces. I should be happy that I was done with college at twenty-three but how can I be happy when I just lost my mom?
"She owes me Fifty thousand dollars, and I want all of it to the last cent" Mrs. Stone said with a smirk on her face, and I just knew that she was laughing inside, knowing fully well that I couldn't provide such money.
"That's a lot of ma'am but I promise to pay you back when I start working. Just give me a year and I'll be done paying you all I owe" I said pleading while staring her in the eye, but she just scoffed.
"If you can't pay back now then you have to seduce my stepson" My eyes widened.
"But ma'am, I don't think I can do that. Please just give me a year and I'll pay you back" I pleaded as I got on my knees.
"Then leave my house and come back with my money tomorrow morning",Mrs Stone yelled and I gasped.
"But ma'am, I have nowhere else to stay and I need some weeks to figure things out and mourn my mom", I said with tears streaming down my face but the look on her face showed that she couldn't care less about my tears.
"So, make your decision now or leave my house and bring my money to me tomorrow morning. You have a nice body and beautiful face. Why didn't you use it to take yourself through school and avoid putting your mom in such debt? I thought you always said you love your mom, but you've sent her to her early grave. Now stop acting innocent and do what you are asked to do" Mrs. stone said so harshly that I flinched.
"I really loved my mom, and I'll do all I can to make her happy even in her grave, but I cannot do what you are asking of me right now" I muttered as i got up then I said my goodbyes before heading towards the door to leave Mrs. stone mansion.
There was no way I could do what she's asking me to do, my mom would have never agreed to such acts, and I wasn't comfortable with using my body to pay off any debt. But how was I going to get Mrs. Stone money by tomorrow morning?
Should I go back to My ex-boyfriend, Philip? He was very rich now and had been begging me to come back to him, but I don't want to be with someone because of money but maybe he will be able to lend me money if I explain my situation to him.
It was quite late and the road looked so quiet and dark. Why didn't I think twice before leaving Mrs. Stone's house? I left my bag and my phone there and just stormed out angrily. I was such a fool.
I'd have to walk to the park and stay there tonight since it was lit and besides, I couldn't call Philip or anyone to locate their houses.
I paused slightly as I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around slowly and when I saw no one, I gently laughed at myself as I continued walking. It was probably my imagination.
It was around 10pm now and thinking about it now, maybe going to the park wasn't such a good idea. After much contemplation, I decided to go to a convenience store that was always open 24 hours.
I could hear whoever was behind me as they tried to catch up with my steps.
What should I do? I've heard many issues of rape on this road, and my mom never allowed me to walk out on this road by this time.
