Introduction
Chapter 1
"Looks like you're lost."
Caitlin Humphries froze. The man's voice behind her was calm, almost casual—yet charged enough to make her hair stand on end. She held her breath, then slowly turned around.
A young man in a black suit stood just a few steps away. The sharp cut of his suit embraced his athletic frame, radiating precision and power. His gaze was calm, unreadable. A faint smile played on his lips, as if he were observing a deer that had stumbled into a lion’s den.
"I..." Caitlin swallowed. "I’m just looking for a way out."
The man raised an eyebrow. "The event’s barely started. Why the rush?"
He took a few steps closer, prompting Caitlin to instinctively step back. She raised one hand, a silent signal for him to keep his distance. Her heart raced, and the world suddenly felt much smaller.
"I shouldn’t be here," she whispered.
She didn’t even know why she had come to this charity gala. She should’ve declined her boss’s offer—a gift ticket to the event—and ignored the impulse to borrow a dress from an acquaintance.
Curiosity, maybe. Or just a break from her dull routine. But now, she regretted it. This place was too glamorous. Too dazzling for someone like her.
The man blinked. "Who says that?"
Without waiting for an answer, he held out his hand. "Come with me. The guests are waiting inside."
Before Caitlin could retreat again, he took her hand—gently, but with unmistakable purpose—and led her into the ballroom.
Caitlin gasped. She tried to pull away, but it was no use. His grip was warm yet firm.
Classical music greeted them. Couples swayed in the center of the room beneath a grand crystal chandelier, creating an atmosphere that was both opulent and surreal.
As they walked in, eyes immediately turned their way. Low murmurs rippled through the room. As if by unseen command, the dancers cleared a path, allowing the two of them to step forward. Caitlin felt hundreds of eyes tracking her every move.
She couldn’t hide her unease. She bit her lip and parted it slightly.
"What are you doing?" she whispered, panicked. "Everyone’s watching us."
"That was the point," he said smoothly. "And I want to dance with you."
Caitlin tried to shake off his hand. "I don’t know how to dance."
She turned to flee. But he caught her waist and gently pulled her back, bringing her face-to-face with him. She stood inches from his broad chest.
"Just follow my lead," he murmured. "You’re safe with me."
His hands guided her. One clasped her fingers tightly, the other rested at her waist. His movements were steady, assured, leaving Caitlin no room to resist.
For a moment, she forgot everything. Her legs, stiff at first, slowly began to mirror his steps. To her surprise, her body responded effortlessly to his rhythm. The delicate tinkle of the piano carried them across the dance floor like they belonged there.
The lights above reflected off the crystal chandeliers, scattering rainbows on the polished floor. Caitlin’s heels clicked softly, but even that sound was absorbed by the smooth music and elegant murmurs.
"What’s your name?" he asked, his voice low and close to her ear.
Caitlin looked down, hesitant. Her mind scrambled for an excuse to leave. But before she could speak, he dipped his head slightly, brushing a hand across the open back of her dress and drawing her just a bit closer.
"You must have a name," he said, smiling faintly.
As the music faded, they stepped off the dance floor. Caitlin finally exhaled. "Caitlin. Caitlin Humphries."
The man stopped in his tracks. Something flickered in his eyes—interest, deeper than before.
"A beautiful name," he said softly. "As beautiful as its owner." He tucked a loose strand of her hair behind her ear. "I’m Arion McCallen. You can call me Arion."
Caitlin stiffened. That name... of course she knew it. It was too familiar. She’d read about Arion McCallen countless times in the tabloids—owner of one of London’s top IT companies and heir to The McCallen Hotels, his family’s luxury hotel empire. Wealthy. Striking. Brilliant. And, as the media often put it, practically untouchable.
"I need to go," Caitlin said quickly, trying to compose herself.
Arion gave a slight shake of his head. "Not yet. The party’s still going."
But before Caitlin could respond, someone interrupted. A tall man—a well-known politician—approached Arion and started a conversation.
Caitlin seized the chance. She glanced at Arion one last time, then slowly stepped away. As Arion listened to the man, she slipped into the crowd. Her steps were quick and purposeful.
She left the ballroom, strode through the hotel’s empty corridor, and pushed open a door leading to the cold night air. Relief washed over her. She smiled. Free at last.
The wind tugged at her borrowed dress as she descended the stone steps and disappeared into the shadows. Her heart still raced—not from fear, but from something she couldn’t name.
Caitlin took off her shoes because they were making it difficult to walk. She threw them in the trash. She walked quickly and hailed a passing taxi in front of the hotel.
Without waiting, she immediately got in. As the taxi drove slowly away, she looked back and felt relieved that no one was following her.
Back inside, Arion was still talking—until the politician finally gave a nod and walked away.
"Good evening, Mr. McCallen. I hope we’ll work together soon."
Arion gave a polite nod. But as the man left, his attention shifted immediately. He scanned the room, searching for the woman he’d just danced with. But she was gone.
Caitlin had vanished.
"Damn it..." he muttered, jaw tightening.
He strode toward his assistant, who was stationed near the bar. "Did you see the woman I was with earlier?"
The assistant shook his head. "No, sir. But I can check the CCTV."
"Do it. And find out everything you can about Caitlin Humphries."
The assistant hurried off.
Arion remained in the center of the ballroom, but his thoughts were elsewhere—on the mysterious woman who had appeared out of nowhere and vanished just as quickly.
She had stirred something in him. He didn’t know what it was, but it gripped him tighter than logic or reason.
And for some reason, he needed to know more.

I hate girls like her.

Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.

How Not To Fall For A Dragon
Which is why it was more than a little confusing when a letter arrived with my name already printed on a schedule, a dorm waiting, and classes picked out as if someone knew me better than I knew myself. Everyone knows the Academy, it’s where witches sharpen their spells, shifters master their forms, and every kind of magical creature learns to control their gifts.
Everyone except me.
I don’t even know what I am. No shifting, no magic tricks, nothing. Just a girl surrounded by people who can fly, conjure fire, or heal with a touch. So I sit through classes pretending I belong, and I listen hard for any clue that might tell me what’s hidden in my blood.
The only person more curious than me is Blake Nyvas, tall, golden-eyed, and very much a Dragon. People whisper that he’s dangerous, warn me to keep my distance. But Blake seems determined to solve the mystery of me, and somehow I trust him more than anyone else.
Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s dangerous.
But when everyone else looks at me like I don’t belong, Blake looks at me like I’m a riddle worth solving.
A pack of their own
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.
Especially - Rule Number One - No Mates
When Draven meets Domonic, he knows that she is his mate, but Draven has no idea what a mate is, only that she has fallen in love with a shifter. An Alpha that will break her heart to make her leave. Promising herself, she will never forgive him, she disappears.
But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

Accardi
“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.
Genevieve loses a bet she can’t afford to pay. In a compromise, she agrees to convince any man her opponent chooses to go home with her that night. What she doesn’t realize when her sister’s friend points out the brooding man sitting alone at the bar, is that man won’t be okay with just one night with her. No, Matteo Accardi, Don of one of the largest gangs in New York City doesn’t do one night stands. Not with her anyway.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.

Falling For The Biker: The Vice President's Girl
His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.
"It's wrong. Your brother would slit my throat for just standing this close. But tell me, little bird" his breath ghosts my skin, "are you trembling because you hate me… or because you've wanted this just as much as I have?"
Wren thought she'd buried the chaos of New Orleans for good—the clubs, the blood-soaked loyalties, the men who lived and died by their kuttes. Seattle gave her everything she ever wanted: freedom, love, a future.

In the chaos of gang wars, mounting debts, and old betrayals, he becomes the one constant. The more she fights him, the harder she falls. And the more he pushes her away, the more lethal his pull becomes.
Because in this world, love isn't sweet.
It's brutal. Bloody.
And it's bound to break them both.
When loyalty is everything and love can cost your life, will Wren risk her heart on the one man she was never meant to love?
