Introduction
"he wasn't ready to be a father."
But, when I caught him in the hospital with his pregnant best friend, I couldn't bear it again and decided to leave.
Chapter 1
Jane's P.O.V:
It had been four years since my marriage with Dave, my husband. We had grown to love, promise and respect each other least that’s what I had convinced myself of. Not until, today, everything changed.
My mother had called in sick and requested for me to come visit. "Make sure to bring your husband." She said.
I had hoped Dave would at least grant my dying mother's wish. But instead, when I told him about her request, he snapped "Don’t you know," he said with a dismissive flick of his hand, "I hate the smell of hospitals. They make me sick." His words were sharp,. "You go. I’ll be here."
I tried to convince him, saying my mother had requested this but instead he snapped at me and I apologized just like i always did.
I arrived alone at the hospital, with my pale mother lying weakly on the bed.
"Mum, Dave-"
I tried to explain but, she interrupted me, "Of course he won't be here." "He doesn't regard us as family, i warned you from marrying such a man." She scolded.
I sighed. I was unable to defend Dave this time, he had crossed the line. I had no choice but, to apologize for my husband's behavior again and I was glad she ended the topic.
Mum began ranting about how i was unable to conceive and how she needed to see her grandchild before giving up.
"Mum we are trying....Me and my husband." I mummured. Heaven knows i was trying really hard to get a child. I wanted one so bad. At least, it would end the nasty comments Dave's family always said whenever they came visiting.
I remember one time, Dave mother came visiting, and requested for a cup of coffee but, I had tripped and spilled the coffee on my way.
"Can you ever do anything right? You can't even provide me with a grandchild and now even a cup of coffee is difficult." She hissed, spatting at me in disgust.
That night, I cried my eyes out, not because of her hurtful words, but because my husband, Dave who was seated there, didn't bat an eyes to defend me.
"Jane since you're here, why don't you do a test." Mom suggested.
"Jane, are you even listening to me," she called, dragging me back from my memory lane.
I hesitated at the idea of a check up but eventually agreed. It was easier than arguing with her, and deep down, a part of me wondered if she was right.
A few minutes later, the result was brought to me, and I was left in shock.
The doctor’s voice was calm but firm. “Mrs. Miller, your blood tests show traces of a compound often used in contraceptives. Have you been taking any medication like that?”
“No, I’ve been trying to conceive for years. My husband and I... we’ve never used anything like that.”
The doctor frowned, sliding the report across the desk. “These levels aren’t accidental. Someone’s been administering them regularly.”
The room spun. No. It couldn’t be true. It was just me and Dave in the house and I was certain Dave would never do that. He wanted children just as much as I did—didn’t he?
Grabbing my phone, I dialed his number. He answered after several rings, his voice clipped. “What is it, Jane? I’m in the middle of a meeting.”
“I…” My voice cracked. “The doctor said there’s something in my system. A drug. How is that possible, Dave?”
A pause. Then, his tone turned exasperated. “I have no idea what you’re talking about. Look, I’m busy. We’ll discuss this at home.”
The line went dead.
Stepping out of the hospital, my mind raced at the possibility of being poisoned. "It was impossible, that must have been a fake result." I consoled. That was when i saw them, Dave and Riya.
Riya, his childhood best friend and someone I’d always been wary of, stood close to him. Too close. His hand rested protectively on her waist, his thumb gently brushing her side. She was smiling, radiant, and unmistakably pregnant.
My breath hitched. My feet moved before my brain could catch up, carrying me toward them. “Dave?”
They both turned, surprise flashing across their faces. Dave quickly dropped his hand from Riya’s waist.
“Jane,” he said, forcing a smile. “What are you doing here?”

I Found the Babies
"When..." He growled in my ear, "When we will be getting married, I will be your only king, do you get my point? Only one queen, no misters or mistresses. Just me, just you, and yeah, our babies."
I shivered.
Alyssa Reynolds found herself in a situation, while returning home from work, and she had three choices:
Simply walk away and forget that you ever heard the sound of wailing infants.
Call the police and inform them about the innocent wails.
Follow the sounds of the wails and take the matter in your hands, deciding what to do later.
Being a kindhearted soul and a sucker for babies, she found herself choosing the third option, finding the two little lives.
Two little lives that changed her whole life, her love life included. Her life now revolved around the babies as diapers, vomit and shit seemed to surround her.
Just when she thought that now it's just her and the babies, her whole world flipped over and she found herself living under the same roof as the egotistical, obnoxious and hot-as-hell Terence Powers, the business tycoon who was not going to let the woman fend off for herself and the babies alone.

Accardi
“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.

The Contract Wife: Marriage Of Malice
He didn't finish. He didn't need to.
I didn't tell him to stop.
Instead, my fingers curled into his shirt, clutching the fabric as though it was my only anchor. Something in him snapped—something he had been holding back for too long. His mouth found mine in a kiss that wasn't tender, but hungry, desperate.
I gasped into him, his hand sliding up to cup my jaw, holding me as if afraid I might vanish.
"You drive me insane," he breathed against my mouth, his lips trailing to my throat. "I can't lose you, Ella. Not you."
My head fell back, a soft sound escaping me as his fingers memorized my waist. My anger melted beneath his desperation.
"James..." I whispered, more plea than protest.
His hand caught mine, fingers threading together tightly. "I'll bring him back. I swear it. Just... don't turn away from me. Please."
The word please—low, ragged, almost broken—undid me more than anything else could have.
