Ink Write · Ongoing · 49.1k Words
Introduction
No job. No home. No money. No family support.
One night, after being stranded, she ended up sharing a bed with a stranger in a hotel she stumbled into. The man was intoxicating sharp jaw, midnight eyes, authority dripping from him. She thought it would never happen again, so she let herself get lost for one night.
But when she woke the next morning and saw 20 dollars left on the bedside table, she shattered.
She believed he paid her.
She believed she meant nothing.
She took the money angry, humiliated, broken and walked out.
She didn’t know she was pregnant.
And she didn’t know the man was Eric Kingston, the heir to Kingston Enterprises, who thought she disappeared before he could even ask her name. The 20 dollars was a mistake: he meant to leave it for room service. But when he returned, she was gone, leaving only confusion and a scent he couldn’t forget.
Cassandra left the city for a countryside town, raised her son alone, and built herself up from nothing. Four years later, needing bigger opportunities, she moved back to the city and landed a job at the biggest corporation in the country.
Kingston Enterprises.
She didn’t know the man she was about to work for was the same stranger from that night.
And he didn’t remember her he only remembered flashes, the softness of her voice, the way she whispered her name, the heat, the innocence. But her face… he forgot after years of burying the memory.
Cassandra lied and pretended they’d never met.
Chapter 1
PROLOGUE
Cassandra did not fall apart in one moment. She broke in pieces that night, one small piece at a time, beginning with the look in the stranger’s eyes when she first stumbled into him.
She had been soaked from the rain. Hungry. Exhausted. A twenty year old with nowhere to sleep and no one waiting for her. She did not expect anyone to notice her, let alone a man whose presence felt like warmth she had been starved of.
Eric.
His voice had been deep and steady when he asked if she was alright. No one had asked her that in months. Something in her cracked at the sound. Something lonely. Something tired. When he offered her his room for the night, she wanted to refuse. She wanted to be stronger than the desperation chewing at her stomach.
But she had reached her limit.
In the privacy of that warm room, she felt his kindness like a lifeline. She felt the safety she had not known since she lost her home. And when he touched her, when his lips brushed hers, when his hands held her like she mattered, Cassandra let herself believe she could have one night of being seen.
One night of being wanted.
She had no idea how deeply that night would brand itself into her memories.
When she woke before dawn, her heart was still beating with the rhythm of his touch. She watched him sleep, peaceful and breathtaking, and for a brief, fragile second, she imagined a future where she could wake up beside someone like him every morning.
Then she saw the twenty dollars on the bedside table.
Not even bills folded neatly. Just tossed there. Careless. Small.
Her chest squeezed until her ribs ached. The room blurred for a moment. She told herself not to cry. Not here. Not in front of a man who clearly thought she was nothing more than a body he had rented for the night.
She picked up the money with shaking fingers.
Maybe he did not mean to insult her. Maybe it was a misunderstanding. Maybe he would wake up and explain everything. She could have asked. She could have woken him.
But humiliation burned too hot through her veins, and pride kept her silent.
She walked out of the room. Out of the hotel. Out of his life.
She did not know she was leaving with more than hurt. She did not know she carried a new heartbeat inside her.
Four years later, after giving birth alone, after learning how to survive with a child who had his eyes, after burying every memory of that night under responsibilities and fear, she returned to the city. She needed a better job for her son. A better future.
She applied to Kingston Enterprises with shaking hands.
She was not prepared for the moment she stepped into his office and saw him again.
He did not recognize her. He did not even blink. He spoke to her like she was a stranger, and she felt a strange mix of relief and heartbreak. She convinced herself that the safest thing she could do was lie. Pretend. Erase the past.
She almost succeeded.
Until the day she forgot to lock her phone.
She returned from the printer to find Eric holding it, staring at a photo of her son. A little boy with dark eyes and a smile that always melted her heart.
Except the look on Eric’s face was not soft. It was shock. Fear. Realization.
His voice came out rough, as if the air cut his throat on the way out.
“Who is this child.”
Cassandra froze.
Eric lifted the phone closer to his face, his hands trembling around it. His breathing turned uneven, almost painful. His eyes changed from confusion to disbelief to something that looked like betrayal.
“That is me. That is a younger version of me.”
She wanted to speak. She wanted to explain. Nothing came out.
Eric’s eyes filled with something she had never seen in him. Not power. Not control. But grief that had claws.
“Wait. He is mine. Tell me I am wrong. Tell me something. Tell me anything.” His voice broke. “Cassandra, is that child mine.”
Her throat closed. She could not breathe. She could not lie. She could not move.
His hand covered his mouth as if he was trying to trap the pain inside him, but it still escaped. A sound cracked from his chest, raw and helpless.
“You stole his first step from me.” His voice shook. “You stole his first word. You stole every moment I should have had with my son.”
A tear slid down his cheek. Then another. He did not wipe them.
“I should have been there,” he whispered. “I should have known. I should have held him. God, I should have held him.”
Cassandra felt her world crumble, not from fear of being caught but from the weight of the heartbreak on his face. She had imagined this moment in nightmares, but nothing had prepared her for the truth.
Eric did not look angry, He looked destroyed. And she had no idea how to put the pieces back together.

The Dragon's Last Fae Queen
“Prince? Dickhead? Asshole? Or stalker?” A slow, dangerous smile curved his lips. “Maybe I should show you the one title I want you to use.” Before I could react, his hand closed around my chin, tilting my face up. His lips crashed into mine, hard, claiming, breath-stealing. When he finally pulled back, his voice was a rough whisper against my lips. “You could call me yours… because you are mine.”
The Contract Wife: Marriage Of Malice
He didn't finish. He didn't need to.
I didn't tell him to stop.
Instead, my fingers curled into his shirt, clutching the fabric as though it was my only anchor. Something in him snapped—something he had been holding back for too long. His mouth found mine in a kiss that wasn't tender, but hungry, desperate.
I gasped into him, his hand sliding up to cup my jaw, holding me as if afraid I might vanish.
"You drive me insane," he breathed against my mouth, his lips trailing to my throat. "I can't lose you, Ella. Not you."
My head fell back, a soft sound escaping me as his fingers memorized my waist. My anger melted beneath his desperation.
"James..." I whispered, more plea than protest.
His hand caught mine, fingers threading together tightly. "I'll bring him back. I swear it. Just... don't turn away from me. Please."
The word please—low, ragged, almost broken—undid me more than anything else could have.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.

“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.
