Chapter 1
Serena's POV
The world did this weird thing where it tilted sideways.. then kind of swirled down a drain.
My ears were full of static and I swear to God, I saw little black dots dancing in front of my eyes. I had to grab the back of the sofa to stop my knees from buckling.
Adrian’s voice cut through the fuzz but it sounded like he was underwater.
“...so I’d like you to meet Vanessa.”
I shook my head, trying to get the cogs in my brain to turn again.
“Wait, what? Run that by me again. I think my brain just blue-screened.”
He had the audacity to look impatient like I was the one holding up the show. He gestured to the woman standing beside him with a smug little smirk.
“I said, this is Vanessa. And she’s pregnant. It’s mine.”
Cue record scratch. Full system crash and flaba-fucking-gasted doesn’t even cover it!
My entire vocabulary shrunk down to just one giant internal scream. My eyes snapped to this… this Vanessa. She had this evil little twinkle in her eye like she’d just won the lottery and stolen my dog. And her hand was already rubbing her stomach. Her totally completely not-even-remotely-showing-yet stomach. My voice came out low and dangerous.
“What the fuck do you even think you’re doing, Adrian?!”
Vanessa put on this sickly-sweet, fake-as-hell voice.
“Oh, honey. Maybe I should wait outside, let you two sort this out...”
“No,” Adrian cut in, his voice hard. “You stay right here. She needs to get used to it.”
My jaw practically hit the floor.
“Get used to it? Are you out of your goddamn mind?”
“Serena, don’t start,” he said, his tone shifting into that scolding dad-voice he knew I hated. “We both agreed to the open marriage, huh? You agreed to it.”
“Because you spent a year whining that our sex life was ‘dull’!” I shot back, my voice rising. “You pushed and you pushed because you were bored! I only agreed because I was terrified of losing you, you absolute plank!”
The floodgates were open now. Three years of marriage and what did I have to show for it?
“I gave up my entire fucking family for you, Adrian! I was an heiress for Christ’s sake! I had a trust fund and a future that didn’t involve some random chick you knocked up standing in my living room!”
I pointed a trembling finger at Vanessa.
“And she is not living in this house with me. That is the line. That is the big red fucking line!”
Adrian took a step forward, his face dark.
“It’s my house too. And she’s carrying my child! My heir! So if I say she’s staying, she’s staying. And if you don’t like it, you know where the door is.”
As if on cue, Vanessa decided to chip in. The sweetness was gone, replaced by a nasty smirk.
“He’s right, you know. You had your chance but you couldn’t keep him happy. I can.”
Then, right in front of me as if I was a piece of furniture, Adrian pulled her to him and kissed her. It wasn't a peck.. it was a deep gross full-on make-out session and his hand… his hand started moving down her back with his fingers subtly and deliberately grabbing her ass.
I felt sick.. actually, physically nauseous and my skin was crawling.
“You know what?” I said, my voice suddenly weirdly calm. “I need some air. I need to get the fuck out of this disgusting… vibe.”
I turned on my heel, grabbed my car keys from the bowl and marched straight out the front door. I didn’t even care that the sky was threatening to open up with those dark rain clouds swirling like my mood. I just needed to be anywhere but there.
I slammed the car door so hard the whole vehicle shook and for a minute I just sat there gripping the steering wheel until my knuckles turned white.
An open marriage. What a joke. My idea of ‘open’ was maybe a flirty text. His idea was a whole-ass second family.
I gave up my name, my money, my goddamn inheritance for this man. For a guy who thought ‘keeping the spark alive’ meant getting his side piece pregnant and parading her in front of me. The sheer fucking audacity!
I started the engine and just drove with no destination in mind. Heir. He called it his ‘heir.’ Like we’re in some medieval kingdom and I’m the barren queen being put out to pasture. Un-fucking-believable!
That’s when I saw it. A flickering neon sign in the dim afternoon light.. a dive bar and motel. It looked as miserable as I felt. Perfect..!
I swerved into the parking lot, slamming on the brakes hard enough to make the tires screech. I got out and made a beeline for the door.
Once inside, I slid onto a sticky barstool and pointed at the first bottle of brown liquor I saw behind the bartender.
“Shots. Keep ‘em coming.”
The bartender raised an eyebrow.
“Rough day, sweetheart?”
“You have no idea. Just pour the damn drinks.”
I threw back the first one. it burned all the way down and I welcomed it. The second one went down smoother and by the third, the sharp edges of the world were starting to blur and the image of Adrian’s hand on Vanessa’s back started to get a little fuzzier.
The bartender paused before pouring me a fourth.
“Maybe slow down a little? Want some water?”
I slammed my hand on the bar.
“Hey! Mind your own fucking business, yeah? Just do your job and pour the goddamn drink!”
I heard a low chuckle from my right.
“I think the lady knows what she wants.”
I turned my head which felt a little too heavy and saw a man sliding onto the stool next to me. Holy.. Shit..!
This was not a regular patron, I could tell. This guy looked like he’d walked off the set of a movie about sexy demons.. all sharp jawline.. dark eyes that seemed to see right through me and a smirk that promised a whole lot of trouble. He was… weirdly familiar but my alcohol-soaked brain couldn’t place him.
He nodded to the bartender.
“Keep her drinks coming. Put it on my tab.”
He turned that smolder back on me.
“A beautiful woman like you, drinking alone? That’s a crime against humanity.”
I was tipsy, pissed off and honestly, fucking horny. It had been so long since anyone had looked at me like that, let alone someone who looked like that. For a second, I felt a warm flush that had nothing to do with the tequila but then I remembered the ring on my finger and the mess at home.
I scowled at him.
“Look, Casanova. I’m married. So you can take your sexy lines and your… your whole… you-ness and fuck right off, okay?”
Instead of getting offended or slinking away, his smirk softened into something that looked like genuine concern.
“Whoa, okay. Fair enough. But you don’t look like a woman celebrating her marriage. You look like your world just ended. What happened?”
And I don’t know why... the booze, the shock, the sheer insanity of the day... but I told him. I spilled the whole pathetic story. Adrian, the open marriage, Vanessa, the baby, the making out.. everything. He just listened as calm as anything.. just nodding occasionally.
When I was done, he was quiet for a moment and then he said, “Sounds to me like you gave up your crown for a court jester who didn’t know how to laugh. You agreed to open the relationship but you didn’t agree to be disrespected in your own home. There’s a difference.”
I just stared at him. He had a brain to go with the body! Who the hell was this guy?!
He finished his drink, dropped a bunch of cash on the bar... way more than enough to cover my drinking spree... and stood up.
“My advice? Stop drinking his poison.” He gave me one last look. “It was nice meeting you.”
And then he just… left.
I sat there for a second, stunned. The shock sobered me up just a little so I decided I needed to get out of there. I wobbled off the stool, my head spinning and made my way to the door.
I pushed it open, stepping out into the night and immediately gasped…

CHASING GHOSTS
My Billionaire Husband's Secret
He was the CEO of the Blackwood Group — a man whose wealth and power eclipsed ninety-nine percent of the world.
He was gentle. Romantic. Attentive. I fell for him fast.
But a year into our marriage, I began to notice something — a pattern.
Lucas's sexual appetite was intense — he wanted me almost every night. Yet every single month, he arranged a solo trip to send me away. I told myself it was his way of spoiling me.
Then a message arrived from someone called Sweet An.
Do you really know your husband?
From that day on, my life filled with shadows.
I suspected my husband of having an affair.
When Lucas and I made love, something felt wrong — his body too large, too much, like something I couldn't explain.
I heard sounds during sex — animal sounds, like something feral had crawled into bed with us.
My best friend Mia said: "There are men sick enough to let dogs fuck their wives."
The family doctor, Daisy, told me: "You could never stay by Lucas's side forever. Your background doesn't make you worthy of being his wife. Do you understand?"
I went looking for whoever had been tearing my marriage apart. I fought to win my husband back.
But the deeper I searched, the larger the secret grew — something far darker hiding beneath this supposed betrayal.
Does Lucas truly love me?
And why, out of everyone in the world, did he choose to marry me?
Bonds at War: The Virgin is Mine
Perhaps then they would stop controlling my every move. Maybe my brothers would stop resenting me. Perhaps I wouldn’t feel so invisible anymore.
No one believed I could do it—not even my mate, Alpha Jaxon Trevane.

Heartbroken and humiliated, I left everything behind and went to Elite alone.
But the academy isn’t the fairytale I dreamed about.
Beneath the grand halls and traditions, a brutal game is being played.
The four ruling Alphas of the North, South, East, and West fight for power, dominance... and now, for me.
A virgin. Untouched. Unclaimed. The prize they all want.
There’s the mate who shattered my heart and swears he’ll win me back.
The brilliant strategist who wants me as his Luna.
The dangerous playboy who promises no one will ever touch me but him.
And the cold, possessive Alpha who watches from the shadows—and would destroy anyone who dares to take me from him.
But in a place where love is a battlefield and lust is a weapon... falling in love might be the most dangerous thing I ever do.
Welcome to Elite Order Academy—where every desire has a price, and my body is the ultimate trophy.

Taste of Fate: The Vampire King's Human Mate
He reached for the back of my head and pulled me up just enough to reach my neck. When his fangs slid into me, the pain was instant, electric. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t think. My hands found his shoulders, clawing for something to hold. My legs kicked. Tears streamed down my cheeks.
He moaned against my throat as he drank, and the sound was devastating.
MOONLIT CHASE
But no, I had to walk through the park at midnight like an idiot. Now I've seen something I can't unsee—a massive black wolf tearing apart three men, then shifting into the hottest guy I've ever laid eyes on.
Kieran Vaughn. Wealthy lawyer, werewolf, and apparently, he thinks I'm his mate.
Here's the problem: I don't do relationships. I definitely don't do supernatural things. I absolutely don't do rich guys who think they can control my life just because their inner wolf has decided I smell like home.
When hunters start targeting me to get to him, Kieran drags me into his pristine penthouse for "protection." Now I'm living with a man who looks at me like I'm his last meal, whose touch sets my skin on fire, and who's barely holding onto his control.
He says everyone he loves dies. I say that's not my problem except it is because I'm falling for this broken, dangerous man and his beast.
And in his world? Love will get you killed.
GO ON YOUR KNEES, ALPHA.
He was wrong.
Six years ago, Pete Leadsilver had everything an Alpha could want. Power, a respected pack and a future already written for him.
Then he met me.
What began as a game became a mistake I would spend years trying to survive. When I told him I was carrying his child, Pete chose not to believe me. He rejected me, humiliated me, and allowed the people around him to make sure I understood that there was no place for me in his world.
So I disappeared.
I took the secret of my pregnancy with me and built a life far away from the Alpha who had broken me.
Six years later, Pete finds me again. Only this time, he isn't the man with all the power. His pack is dying, his people are running out of time, and I may be the only person capable of saving them.
But I'm no longer the woman Pete remembers. And beside me is a little boy who carries far too much of Pete's face to be a coincidence.
Our reunion should have been about a cure, but instead, it becomes the beginning of a war neither of us saw coming.
Because Pete's greatest danger isn't outside his pack.
It's inside his own family.
Old resentment turns into manipulation. Loyalty becomes betrayal. And the people Pete trusts begin hiding secrets that threaten to destroy everything he's built.
Then someone comes for the people I love.
Suddenly, this is no longer about whether Pete can earn my forgiveness.
It's about whether he can keep me alive.
Whether he can protect the son he never knew existed.
Whether he can uncover the truth before the people closest to him destroy everything he has finally learned to value.
Along the way, we'll lose people we thought would always stand beside us, I'll be forced to confront wounds I've spent six years trying to bury, and the family we're slowly building will be tested in ways neither of us could have imagined.
Because sometimes love isn't the hardest thing to find. Sometimes it's the hardest thing to survive.
Pete once believed power meant never needing anyone and I once believed surviving him meant leaving him behind.
We were both wrong.
Because some bonds refuse to die, some betrayals cut deeper than rejection and some people don't come back into your life to give you a second chance.
They come back to show you exactly what you almost lost.
Pete Leadsilver lost me once.
This time, he'll have to fight to keep the family he never knew he needed.
Accardi
“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.
Genevieve loses a bet she can’t afford to pay. In a compromise, she agrees to convince any man her opponent chooses to go home with her that night. What she doesn’t realize when her sister’s friend points out the brooding man sitting alone at the bar, is that man won’t be okay with just one night with her. No, Matteo Accardi, Don of one of the largest gangs in New York City doesn’t do one night stands. Not with her anyway.
