Introduction
But she was wrong.
On the night her trust shattered, Rafael handed her over to a reality far crueler than betrayal. The man she loved turned into the cold figure who imprisoned her, not out of hatred, but because of a debt from the past.
Adeline’s father had taken something profoundly precious from Rafael. Something that could not be repaid with money, power, or an apology. And because her father refused to return it so easily, Adeline was forced to pay the price with her freedom.
Becoming the captive of the man who once swore to protect her, Adeline is trapped between pain, a love that has not yet died, and dark secrets that slowly come to light. Every glance from Rafael carries resentment. Every touch is a punishment, yet also a reminder of feelings that have not fully faded.
Amid betrayal and painful truths, one question continues to haunt Adeline.
Is she merely a tool for revenge, or the only thing still capable of saving Rafael from destruction?
Because in this game, love is no longer a shield, it is the deadliest weapon of all.
Chapter 1
“No, no. Rafael… where are you…”
My voice trembled. My breathing turned ragged as panic crushed my chest tighter and tighter. I rummaged through my bag in a frenzy, my fingers shaking as I searched for my phone.
“Damn it, my phone is in-”
A violent crash against the door nearly stopped my heart. My body jerked in shock, my breath caught painfully in my throat.
I knew I was being hunted. The enemy my father had made had finally found me.
My gaze swept frantically around the restroom, my eyes darting everywhere, hoping to find something, anything, I could use to defend myself. But there was nothing. I was alone and trapped.
The restroom door was forced open.
A large man wearing a black mask stood in the doorway. His massive frame filled the space, making me feel even smaller, even more helpless.
The masked man strode toward me with long, steady steps. I struggled the moment his hand clamped roughly around my arm.
I let out a muffled scream, fighting to break free, but the difference in our strength was far too great. I collapsed into his grip, wincing in pain, still struggling with whatever strength I had left.
“Lady.”
My body froze.
My eyes widened completely when I heard that voice. A voice I knew all too well. A voice that had always made me feel safe.
“Y-You…”
“Thank you for cooperating so calmly all this time, Lady Adeline.”
I did not even have time to react when a needle pierced my arm. A cold sensation spread rapidly through my body. The man removed his mask.
My vision blurred, the world around me spinning. But at that close distance, I was certain. The man hunting me was the man who had always been there for me. The man I had trusted without a shred of doubt.
“You…”
My sentence broke apart. Darkness swallowed me whole.
**
My consciousness returned slowly, as if being dragged up from the bottom of an endless void. My head felt heavy, my vision unfocused.
A cloth gagged my mouth. My hands were bound tightly, as were my legs. I forced my eyes open, my brown irises scanning the unfamiliar room I was in. Then my memory crashed back into me.
Rafael… it was Rafael. But why-
My thoughts stopped abruptly when the door opened. That familiar figure entered the room with calm, unhurried steps.
A growl of rage rose from my chest. My entire body tensed, the ropes digging painfully into my skin. Hatred burned in my stare as he stood before me.
Rafael.
My bodyguard.
I screamed and cursed through the gag. Anger, frustration, and betrayal twisted together, gnawing at my heart.
He only snorted.
“No need to waste your energy, Lady.”
I did not care. I kept struggling until my arms ached, my skin burning where the ropes cut too tightly. The pain was nothing compared to the agony in my chest.
“Tsk, stubborn.”
Rafael removed the cloth from my mouth.
“You bastard! What do you want, huh? Why are you doing this to me!”
He gave a faint smirk, then stepped closer until his face was inches from mine. I could feel his breath.
“Calm down, Lady. You are perfectly fine here. Do not scream and glare at me like that. It serves no purpose.”
He stepped back and leaned casually against the table, looking at me as if I were nothing more than an interesting spectacle.
“You want money? Power? Or what? Just say it! There was no need to kidnap me, you damn bastard!”
He chuckled softly. “Such a pretty mouth, now so foul. You are not like this usually. You used to look at me with longing and desire. Now you look at me as if you want to kill me.”
“Are you insane? You know exactly why I am like this! This is all because of you! Why did you kidnap me? What do you actually want?”
He straightened and stepped closer, then bent down to look at me sharply.
“What I want is simple. I only want to take back what should have been mine.”
I frowned. What did he mean?
Seeing my confusion, Rafael smirked.
“Do not worry. It is not you. Once I get what I want, I will release you. Well… that is if your father is willing to give it back.”
“Give back what? What are you talking about?”
“A little princess like you does not need to know.” His hand reached out, smoothing my disheveled hair. “We will see… whether your father loves you more, or what he is holding onto now.”
I clenched my teeth, staring after him as he left, fury blazing in my chest. His words were vague. And somehow… I hesitated.
I doubted my father would save me.
One of his subordinates brought food and placed it in front of me. I scoffed.
“Trying to bribe me?”
He did not answer and left immediately. I clicked my tongue, glaring at the food in disgust.
“Need some help, Lady?”
I turned toward the door. Rafael entered and sat down in front of me.
He picked up the plate. “Doing this reminds me of old memories. Do you remember when you were sick? I was the one who fed you.”
I turned my face away, refusing to open my mouth.
“Do not be stubborn, Lady.”
I still did not turn back. That made him yank my chair closer roughly, forcing me to face him.
Our eyes met. My gaze dropped to the spoon in front of my face. I spat onto the food. “How can I trust that this is not poisoned?”
He fell silent for a moment, then put the spoon into his own mouth.
I stared at him in shock. “You are insane.”
“How is it?” he asked after swallowing. “Is there poison in it?”
Another spoonful was held out toward me. “Eat, Lady.”
With a surge of resentment, I finally ate.
Who are you, really? Why do it like this? Was everything… a lie?
My chest throbbed painfully. I could not accept the reality that all of Rafael’s attention and care had been nothing but deception.
I had fallen for my own bodyguard. I knew it was wrong. But feelings were not something I could control at will.
I only wanted to be noticed. To be loved. To feel safe.
And damn it, I had given that sense of safety to the wrong man.
“If everything goes smoothly, I will release you,” Rafael said quietly. “But if he refuses…” He took a step closer. “Then you will no longer be just bait.”
My breath caught in my throat. “Then… what will I be?”
Rafael stared at me for a long moment. Too long. That gaze made my fear grow deeper.
“Collateral.”
I swallowed hard, my eyes dropping to my wrists, still tightly bound.
If my father chose that power… then I would be the one who disappeared.
And the most terrifying part was this, I no longer knew whether Rafael was the enemy I should fear, or the only person who might still be able to save me.

I hate girls like her.
Entitled.
Delicate.

Still.
The image of her standing in the doorway, clutching her cardigan tighter around her narrow shoulders, trying to smile through the awkwardness, won’t leave me.
Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldn’t care.
I don’t care.
It’s not my problem if Tyler’s an idiot.
It’s not my business if some spoiled little princess has to walk home in the dark.
I’m not here to rescue anyone.

Alpha Nicholas's Little Mate
What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.

How Not To Fall For A Dragon
Which is why it was more than a little confusing when a letter arrived with my name already printed on a schedule, a dorm waiting, and classes picked out as if someone knew me better than I knew myself. Everyone knows the Academy, it’s where witches sharpen their spells, shifters master their forms, and every kind of magical creature learns to control their gifts.
Everyone except me.
I don’t even know what I am. No shifting, no magic tricks, nothing. Just a girl surrounded by people who can fly, conjure fire, or heal with a touch. So I sit through classes pretending I belong, and I listen hard for any clue that might tell me what’s hidden in my blood.
The only person more curious than me is Blake Nyvas, tall, golden-eyed, and very much a Dragon. People whisper that he’s dangerous, warn me to keep my distance. But Blake seems determined to solve the mystery of me, and somehow I trust him more than anyone else.
Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s dangerous.
But when everyone else looks at me like I don’t belong, Blake looks at me like I’m a riddle worth solving.

Peace lasts exactly one lullaby. This is the story of an orphan pup who became a goddess by choosing her family; of four imperfect alphas learning how to be better. Steamy, fierce, and full of heart, Goddess of the Underworld is a reverse harem, found-family paranormal romance where love writes the rules and keeps three realms from falling apart.
A pack of their own
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.
Especially - Rule Number One - No Mates
When Draven meets Domonic, he knows that she is his mate, but Draven has no idea what a mate is, only that she has fallen in love with a shifter. An Alpha that will break her heart to make her leave. Promising herself, she will never forgive him, she disappears.
But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

Her body ignites. Her instincts scream. And something primal stirs beneath her skin—
summoning a big, bad Alpha who knows exactly how to quench her fire.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
Invisible To Her Bully
Falling For The Biker: The Vice President's Girl
His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.
"It's wrong. Your brother would slit my throat for just standing this close. But tell me, little bird" his breath ghosts my skin, "are you trembling because you hate me… or because you've wanted this just as much as I have?"
Wren thought she'd buried the chaos of New Orleans for good—the clubs, the blood-soaked loyalties, the men who lived and died by their kuttes. Seattle gave her everything she ever wanted: freedom, love, a future.
But one betrayal shatters it all.
Dragged home by tragedy, Wren finds herself under the watchful eye of Ezra Jax—the Raven Reapers MC's vice president and her brother's best friend. He's infuriating, dangerous, and far too tempting for a man she should never touch.
And the deeper Wren is pulled back into his world, the more she realizes nothing about her past—or about Ezra—is what she believed.
In the chaos of gang wars, mounting debts, and old betrayals, he becomes the one constant. The more she fights him, the harder she falls. And the more he pushes her away, the more lethal his pull becomes.
Because in this world, love isn't sweet.
It's brutal. Bloody.
And it's bound to break them both.
When loyalty is everything and love can cost your life, will Wren risk her heart on the one man she was never meant to love?
