Chapter 1
The night she seemed so long to Kelly, sitting up remembering everything. Kelly, who was on the bed, was silent, with her face looking so flat, as she looked over to her side where a man was also sleeping peacefully.
The handsome man looked so peaceful, having spent the night with her. But in Kelly's vision, she could see that this man was not just an ordinary man. There was something different about his aura, and it made Kelly sigh before looking at the nightstand.
"It's almost work time; I'd better drive from this place so he won't find me. This night we've had was a mistake, after all." Kelly got out of bed and put on her clothes.
Kelly recalled that last night, when she was almost affected by the drugs given by Kyle Warmosh, aka her step-brother, who had been really into her for a long time, there was a man who barged in and helped her when she asked for help. She already knew that it was the man lying on her bed right now, but she did not recognize him.
"I have to go now, or I'll be late." Kelly sighed.
She had already put on her rumpled clothes and walked towards the bedroom door, but just about to open it, she felt the bed move and looked back.
"Where are you going?"
Kelly rounded her eyes at the man's heavy and sexy voice, her gaze looking nervous as the well-built man got off the bed and approached her.
"After making love to me, you want just to leave?" he asked, making Kelly swallow.
"Sir... you seem to be aware, that what happened last night was accidental. Someone framed me; I didn't intend to make love to you," she said frantically, making the man smile a little and locked her between the walls.
Kelly looked at him, who had already raised his chin; she had stiffened and was looking at him with a scared look.
"Sir... Don't do this," she said with a panicked face. "Let's pretend we never did anything. We were just set up, wasn't it on purpose."
The man was still smiling, looking at her with a saved face. You know who I am?"
Kelly shook her head, then looked at his face with worry. "I have a job interview today for the first time, so can you let me go?" she asked hopefully. "If you want compensation, you can say that later. Either we meet again or give me your business card. I will contact you later after all these job interviews are over. Sir... please, I want to work-"
Her words were interrupted when the man kissed and sucked her lips quickly. Kelly swallowed, staring at the face of the man in front of her with a pale face.
"Do you know who I am? I am Alpha," he said, making Kelly frown. "I am your Alpha; you are my Mate. You have to come with me to the Wolf Clan and help me. You have to do something there for me."
Kelly swallowed at that remark. "Alpha?" she asked, making the man smile and nod. "Alpha, what? What do you mean?"
"I'm not human, in case you didn't know." The handsome man said again, making Kelly swallow. "You also realize that you're Mate; you are my Mate. The Wolfmes wolf clan is waiting for you. I'm taking you there because there's something you're going to do. I need you, and you and I have also made love; I have marked your neck. Sooner or later, I will take you away to our real life. You... are my Mate, Kelly."
A woman gasped and got up from her sleep when she felt she had just had a strange dream. The woman was sweating, and her face was a little pale, except that she felt that her gaze was blue and what she saw was indeed blue.
Her hand, which had a tattoo of a wolf, was glowing, and it made her swallow and catch her breath.
Kelly Flora, she was that woman. She was dreaming of making love to Alpha after her stepbrother framed her and made her breathless. It was only when she woke up that her clothes were a bit messy, which made her immediately grab her chest and look left and right winner.
"Was it rest a dream? Am I just dreaming?" she thought with a panicked face.
She didn't know because she seemed to be experiencing everything in such detail. Kelly was not a woman who knew nothing about her; she was not an innocent girl. She knew some strange things about herself, and she realized that she was not an ordinary person either.
There was something different about her, and she had powers. A power that could be called magic, but it wasn't magic; instead, she had an ability as a Mate as she had read from an ancient book in her mother's book.
Only she didn't know why she could have the ability to split herself, emit lightning from her hands, destroy someone from the look of her eyes, and also some other crazy powers. As a woman, she was never weak and touched by criminals because she could minimize all their evil and harassment with her powers.
"Am I rated? Am I the queen of the Werewolf clan?"
Kelly stayed there for a while and watched her surroundings with a confused face. She didn't know what to do, but just as she was thinking, there was a voice in her head that made her swallow.
"Congratulations on coming of age, Kelly Flora. You are the Mate being sought after by a man who is your Alpha and true mate. You will be the key to solving all the problems in their clan. Right now, they need you to end the war to bring balance to the Werewolf nation led by his father. You are the only way to defeat his mad father. Alan Wolfmes will find you; be ready."
The tattoo on Kelly's hand shone so brightly that she swallowed and thought for a while.
"War? Who is Alan Wolfmes? I don't know him." Kelly said, trying to communicate with the voice.
"You will know him soon; he already knows you. Last night, you dreamt of making love to him, and he has marked you as his Mate. Accept your destiny must join the war with him to save the Werewolf world that is no longer normal because his father changed the rules and regulations that should be. You are the holder of the most powerful heirloom in the Werewolf world, you... must control the world of Werewolf Wolfmes and not let the Old Alpha,ak the father of Alan Wolfmes, destroy Werewolf's life."
Kelly was silent, her eyes turning blue again, before muttering suspiciously. "Alan Wolfmes... the Alpha that was in my dream last night? That dream of making love to him... was it real?"

GO ON YOUR KNEES, ALPHA.
He was wrong.
Six years ago, Pete Leadsilver had everything an Alpha could want. Power, a respected pack and a future already written for him.
Then he met me.
What began as a game became a mistake I would spend years trying to survive. When I told him I was carrying his child, Pete chose not to believe me. He rejected me, humiliated me, and allowed the people around him to make sure I understood that there was no place for me in his world.
So I disappeared.
I took the secret of my pregnancy with me and built a life far away from the Alpha who had broken me.
Six years later, Pete finds me again. Only this time, he isn't the man with all the power. His pack is dying, his people are running out of time, and I may be the only person capable of saving them.
But I'm no longer the woman Pete remembers. And beside me is a little boy who carries far too much of Pete's face to be a coincidence.
Our reunion should have been about a cure, but instead, it becomes the beginning of a war neither of us saw coming.
Because Pete's greatest danger isn't outside his pack.
It's inside his own family.
Old resentment turns into manipulation. Loyalty becomes betrayal. And the people Pete trusts begin hiding secrets that threaten to destroy everything he's built.
Then someone comes for the people I love.
Suddenly, this is no longer about whether Pete can earn my forgiveness.
It's about whether he can keep me alive.
Whether he can protect the son he never knew existed.
Whether he can uncover the truth before the people closest to him destroy everything he has finally learned to value.
Along the way, we'll lose people we thought would always stand beside us, I'll be forced to confront wounds I've spent six years trying to bury, and the family we're slowly building will be tested in ways neither of us could have imagined.
Because sometimes love isn't the hardest thing to find. Sometimes it's the hardest thing to survive.
Pete once believed power meant never needing anyone and I once believed surviving him meant leaving him behind.
We were both wrong.
Because some bonds refuse to die, some betrayals cut deeper than rejection and some people don't come back into your life to give you a second chance.
They come back to show you exactly what you almost lost.
Pete Leadsilver lost me once.
This time, he'll have to fight to keep the family he never knew he needed.
CHASING GHOSTS
The Mafia King's Unknown Doctor Wife
Love's Deadly Equation
I was sent to her.
To watch her. To protect her. And, when the order comes… to kill her.
My name is Keegan Caffery. I’m the Carter Mafia’s best hitman. I don’t miss. I don’t fail.
At least, I didn’t use to.
I don’t know what it is about her that got to me first—her mouth, her mind, or the way she looks at me like I’m not what she should fear.
I’ve had a gun to her head since I walked into her life.
She knows it.
And she still doesn’t run.
She just watches me back like she’s studying a problem she refuses to call impossible.
She’s the one variable I can’t control.
And God help me… I don’t want to.
I have an order. I have loyalty. I have a trigger.
But every time I imagine it—
I can’t stand it.
Her or me. That’s the math.
It’s a deadly equation I don’t want to solve.
⬥ Maisie ⬥
I’m not ordinary. I stopped pretending long ago.
My name is Maisie Seo. IQ 145. Clinical genius.
Which sounds impressive until you realize what it actually means: I don’t fit anywhere people expect me to.
I see patterns everywhere. Outcomes before they happen. People like equations I’ve already solved.
It gets lonely in a world you’ve already figured out.
So I dull myself down. Smoke the edges off. Pretend, badly, to be the kind of normal that lets people stay.
Then he walked in.
I knew what he was immediately. Dangerous. Intentional. Wrong in all the right ways.
I should be afraid of him.
I keep waiting for that to kick in.
Instead, I’m fascinated.
Because for the first time in my life… I’ve found something I can’t solve.
He is my deadly equation.
