Introduction
My name is Four, yes four, like the number. Of course, it wasn't always my name, but since I was brought to the auctions, it has been what I've been called and what everyone knows me as.
Long ago, I was the proud daughter of the alpha and luna of Blue Moon, but after our pack was brought to ruin, I became one of many awaiting their fate.
You see, in this place, we are no longer people. Instead, we are just things waiting for the day we are bought and given our purpose in life, whether it be a slave, a mistress, a breeder, or worse, an offering.
For years, I've waited for the day that I am bought and given my meaning for living, but so far, it hasn't happened.
the auctioneers say it is because of my eyes. They say that they remind the buyers of the devil and that they fear that if they buy me, I will do nothing but bring ruin to them and their packs. That is, until the day he found me and took me out of this place after saying one thing.
"You with those eyes like a blade have brought ruin to me and because of that you must spend your life atoning."
After that, he became my purpose, my meaning, and with each passing day, I grew more and more greedy. How long will these pleasant days last, especially when conspiracy is rising and betrayal is around every corner?
Will the worries that those who never bought me turn out to be true, or will the odds be defied?
Chapter 1
[Pandoraâs POV]
âGet up!â The voice rings out around me, startling me from the light doze that Iâve just managed to obtain. âGet up, now!â
Gasping, I feel my collar being yanked and then Iâm crashing to the ground. My eyes fly open and when I look up, I find Geoffrey, my guard staring down at me with a look of amusement.
âAbout damn time.â He growls, tugging my chain again. âGet your ass up.â
âIâm up,â I hiss, lifting my hands and taking in the scrapes on them. âWas all of this even necessary?â
As I speak, I slowly stand so that he can see the injuries on my skin. To no oneâs surprise, he smirks and a look of pride flashes in his dark eyes that causes a grimace to rush through me.
âIf you got up the first time this wouldnât have happened.â He points out, unhooking my chain. âCome on.â
He doesnât wait for me to respond before he begins to pull me forward, leading me out of my cell and into the hall that is already lined with others like me.
They stand stiffly, their faces expressionless, their eyes hollow. Itâs the norm here in this place, but everytime I see it it unnerves me.
Iâve lived here for the past seven years, waiting, and hoping that I would be able to become free, but no amount of hope ever brought my wish to fruition. By this point, I was beginning to think that maybe it would never happen since no one wanted to buy me.
You see, Iâm cursed, at least, that is what they say about me. With my white hair and golden eyes, I stand out too much. And even though you would think that someone would buy me because of these features, they avoided me.
Maybe it was because of the rumors that surrounded me. That I was a demon in wolves clothing waiting for my chance to destroy whoever bought me. That I was the reason my entire pack was destroyed. That I brought bad luck to anyone I crossed.
You see, I wasnât always a prisoner of this place. I was once the proud daughter of the Crimson Moon pack. My father and mother were the alpha and luna of said pack and because of that I was next in line to take over. At least, that was what was supposed to happen, but in the end, I never got the chance.
One horrible night my pack was attacked. Everyone I knew and loved was killed and I was taken.
Even now, I remember that day like it was just yesterday, no amount of years that passed made it disappear from my memory and honestly, I didnât want it to disappear anyway. It was a night that I should remember since everyone died while I was unable to do anything to stop it.
Iâm sorry. I think silently, my heart squeezing painfully, my breath hitching. Iâm so sorry.
âMove it,â Geoffrey huffs, tugging me out of my reverie. âStop dragging your feet.â
âSorry,â I huff, trying to not fall. âMaybe if you didnât go so fast, I couldâŠAH!â
I donât get to finish my words before Iâm crashing forward, my body hitting the ground, and my head bouncing against the cement.
âShit,â I hiss, attempting to get up only to be dragged.
âI told you to keep up.â
Itâs all Geoffrey says, before continuing to move while I work myself back to my feet and when we finally reach our destination, the bath maids are already waiting.
âWait,â I hiss as Iâm led to the tubs that are meant for those who will be up for auction. âWhy am I being brought here?â
Since I never sold, the madam tended not to bother with bathing me. Instead, she would just keep me chained to the side so that I could watch the others be sold off while I remained.
âThis is your lucky night.â A smooth, sweet voice purrs and when I turn I see the madam. âYouâre the star of the evening.â
Star? What was she talking about? What was happening?
With each passing minute I could feel my fear growing.
âI donât understand,â I say. âWhy would IâŠâ
âMake sure that she is extra clean.â The madam orders, ignoring me completely. âOtherwise, it will be your head.â
âOf course,â Geoffrey chuckles. âWe will make sure that she pleases our guest and returns everything to us that she owes.â
âWhat?â I gasp, still not understanding what was going on. âWhat does that mean?â
Of course, I knew what it meant. I knew what happened at these auctions, but for them to being saying such things about me just didnât make sense.
âCome along, mutt,â Geoffrey orders, tugging me again. âStop dilly-dallying. If you think youâre going to get out of being auctioned if you waste enough time, youâre wrong.â
âNo!â I gasp, beginning to fight. âNo! I donât want to!â
Even though I knew that fighting wouldnât get me anywhere, I still couldnât stop myself from trying to stop Geoffrey from taking me any further.
âBe obedient.â Geoffrey growls, pulling my chain roughly so I crash to my knees in front of him. âYou donât want your buyer to see you covered in injuries, do you?â
âWould it mean that my value is lessened?â I challenge and immediately regret it as the madamâs fingers twist into my hair and pull.
âListen here, you vile little creature.â She growls, lifting me so that we are eye to eye. âIâve wasted a lot of time and money on you and itâs time that you return all that to me.â
âI didnât ask you to.â I growl.
Instantly, the madams free hand finds my cheek and my head is snapping to the side while my ear rings and the taste of blood fills my mouth.
âUngrateful, wretch!â She snarls, her eyes flashing dangerously. âI do hope that your new owner properly beats you into submission because if you were sticking around here, I would do it myself.â
âI wonât have a buyer,â I tell her, my lips twitching into a sneer of amusement. âNo one ever buys me! Thatâs why Iâm still here.â
"Not this evening." The madam's smile is all triumph now, cold and razor-edged and absolutely certain. "This evening, you will be bought. Your buyer made very specific arrangements to ensure you become his tonight." She shoves me toward the tubs with casual violence. "Now get your ass moving."
And just like that, the world tilts again.
Someone wants me.
Someone has arranged to buy me specifically.
The question isn't whether I'll be sold anymore.
The question is: why?

âYouâre soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?â his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. âWeakness?â

Triplet Alpha: My Fated Mates
"No." "I'm fine."
"Fuck," he breathes. "You'reâ"
"Don't." My voice cracks. "Please don't say it."
"Aroused." He says it anyway. "You're aroused."
"I'm notâ"
"Your scent." His nostrils flare. "Kara, you smell likeâ"
"Stop." I cover my face with my hands. "Justâstop."
Then his hand on my wrist, pulling my hands away.
"There's nothing wrong with wanting us," he says softly. "It's natural. You're our mate. We're yours."
"I know." My voice is barely a whisper.
I spent ten years as a ghost in the Sterling mansionâa debt slave to the triplet Alphas who made my life hell. They called me "Carrot," shoved me into frozen rivers, and left me to die in the snow when I was eleven.
On my eighteenth birthday, everything changed. My first shift released a scent of white musk and first snowâand three former tormentors stood outside my door, claiming I was their fated mate. All three of them.
Overnight, the debt vanished. Asher's commands turned to vows, Blake's fists became trembling apologies, and Cole swore they'd been waiting for me all along. They declared me their Luna and promised to spend their lives atoning.
My wolf howls to accept them. But one question haunts me:
Would that eleven-year-old girl, freezing and certain she would die, forgive the choice I'm about to make?
