Chapter 1
Right now he was present in an abandoned and battered dark house located in a deserted forest. The room was neither big nor that small, but it was round about middle size. In the middle of the room, there was a table and six chairs were placed around it.
It was fully drowned in darkness. The laptop was opened on the table in front of him, and he was searching for something in it. In loneliness, his demeanour was the same as it was in the presence of everyone.
His face was completely hidden in a hoodie. There was a list in his hand on which something was written. For a good amount of time, he stayed busy on his laptop, then he looked at the list and started typing something from it.
Meanwhile, his mobile vibrates with an incoming call from someone. Dropping a fiery look at his mobile, he picked up the call.
"Beast, that man is dead." After hearing the news from the other side, the beast inside of him woke up. He doesn't want any single mistake in his plan. His eyes turned red in rage as if blood was about to ooze out of his eyes.
"But his boss…..he is present in the hotel located in the back side of the area in room number 203." His cold lips turned into a wicked smile as he listened to the news. He was glaring at his laptop.
"You have only twenty minutes." He said in a dominating voice, looking at the time in his wristwatch. Sensing coldness in the voice of the Beast, the hands of the man trembled.
He knows very well the meaning behind the brief words spoken by the Beast. He had already made one mistake and he knows very well no matter what, he will get the punishment for his mistake.
"Yes, Beast." He ran his tongue on dried lips, and answered him shortly in a low voice. And then, he gets busy with his task.
"How many times have I told you that I don't want to eat, so it means I don't want to eat." Today again, Aleezay was wailing, crying, and fussing in the whole house. Whenever a servant tried to bring her food for eating, she threw the tray back on the servants, venting her anger on them. This is not something new.
In fact, it's become the habit of this fierce lady to become angry on every single matter. Stubbornness and anger are something she is really efficient in doing.
"Sir….Aleezay madam is very angry." Mr. Nawaz, who came back to Pakistan two weeks earlier, was now again packing his bag to go abroad. He was startled by the voice of the servant.
"How many times have I told you that no matter what happens, never come to the study room without my permission? Don't you get it?" The poor servant, who had already listened to the jerking of his pampered fierce daughter, was now cursing himself for getting insulted by the master of this house.
"Sir…she…she…" He was sweating because his master had never talked to any of his servants in such a harsh manner. But what happened with him now? Mr. Nawaz after reconsidering his behaviour again turned into a soft and kind man, in a moment.
"Anyways, tell me what happened. Why is she getting angry?" The servant kept on standing, with downcasted head. This made him understand what could be the reason.
With the gesture of his hand, he sent the servant outside. After packing his luggage, he climbed upstairs to the room of his daughter to console his single pampered Aleezay.
"Aleezay…. Aleezay, where is my princess?" He stepped in, slowly opening the door of her room. As he ran his eyes in her room, he guessed from the condition of her room that the anger of his princess was at its peak today.
With a sniffing and weeping face, she was standing on the little, but beautifully decorated with flowers balcony of her room. Mr. Nawaz, looking at the shreds of broken pieces of perfume bottles, came outside to her to the balcony.
"Hmm, so my princess is very angry with her father, right?" She didn't give any reaction to what her father said. Mr. Nawaz held her by both shoulders and turned her towards himself. He pecked her on the forehead.
“Ok fine, my life, don’t be that angry with your father. You can go to Turkey with your friends.” As Mr. Nawaz said that, her mood changed in a flip of seconds as if it wasn't spoiled a while earlier. She was blinking her big doe eyes like a doll looking at her father in a state of disbelief.
“Really….papa. I love you, papa. You are the world's best papa.” Her face lit like the flowers placed there on the balcony.
“Ok my princess, now quickly do your packing because after your leave I also have to go to the UK.” Once again Mr Nawaz pecked her on the forehead and walked out of there.
Aleezay quickly took out her mobile from her pants pocket and dialled a number.
“Hello guys, finally we are going to Turkey.” On the other side of the call, loud noises erupted in celebration. She was dancing in her room with the feeling of excitement. Because finally after five years, her father gave her permission to go somewhere.
In the excitement of going to Turkey, she woke late at night, doing her packing. And finally, it was three o’clock of the night when sleep engulfed her. Forgetting everything and unaware of her surroundings, she was sleeping peacefully when someone, crossing the window came to her room.
“My beauty queen.” He came near the bed, whispering to himself. After provoking his emotions and feelings, how sound she was sleeping.
“My beauty queen.” He leaned over her, putting his lips on her forehead and kissed her tenderly. He felt her sleep was getting disturbed which was apparent from the expressions on her face. Seeing her making an annoyed face in sleep, a smile appeared on the face of this stone-hearted man.
Getting tired of all worldly business, don’t know for how many days he was coming here, in search of finding his peace. For a few moments, he kept on lying there putting his head on her arm, and then thinking something, he got up. He picked up her mobile from the side table of the bed, checking something in it.
In all these days, for the first time, he picked up her mobile as he knew its password very well. First, he started seeing her pictures.
“My beauty queen.” With deep feelings, he stared at each picture of her by zooming it. Then opened her WhatsApp where a lot of unread messages were unseen, but he didn’t bother to see a single message in the inbox because he trusted in his sleeping beauty. But there his eyes spotted something, and after seeing it, his eyes went wide.
“How…..how it can happen? No, you can’t do this with me. You….you are going away from me.” In a moment, he became a bit sad, but the very next moment the expression on his face turned harsh. He is a stone heart man for the world, but after coming here don’t know why his stone heart starts melting. And today, that stone-hearted man woke up here inside of him.
Everything was properly placed in the room, but now when wrath was taking its foothold on him, he started throwing and disarranging everything placed in the room. Though in rage, he was still doing it in such a way that the girl sleeping on the bed didn’t listen to the things thrown on the floor.
After a long pause, when he had made her room all messy, his rage started getting subside. He sat near the bed on the floor, leaning back over it.
“No, my love, never at all. Now I won’t let you go away from me.” He said to himself with firm determination. He ran his eyes around the whole room, and only then did he come back to his senses that what he just did.
He can’t see fear, dread, or horror in her eyes for himself. So without wasting any time, he rearranged her room by picking up everything from the floor and putting it back in its respective place. He threw only those things that can’t break down that easily. Now the condition of the room turned back to its original position and his condition also became the same as before.

He Never Loved Me, Until I Left
I put away the divorce agreement with a wry smile.
When he and my son completely disappeared, he finally panicked.
Three months later .
He knelt down on the streets of Chicago in despair, begging me to remarry him.
My six-year-old son looked coldly at his biological father and said, "Get lost, you bad uncle! You don't deserve to be my dad!"
The Family Sacrifice
I simply said one word: "Okay."
My parents and Gilbert were stunned. They rushed to have me sign the voluntary donation form, afraid I’d change my mind.
Some days later, they sent me to the operating room.
Dad said, "Yvonne will finally be saved. We're so proud of you."
Mom said, "After the surgery, we'll make it up to you."
Gilbert looked tenderly at Yvonne and said, "When you're better, where should we travel?"
What they didn't know was that the day I agreed, I'd just received my diagnosis, stage four cancer. Three months to live.
As I lay on the cold operating table, as the anesthesia began to take effect, I only wanted to know one thing:
If I die on this operating table, will they regret it?
He Thought I'd Never Leave
When he said he was being bullied, I believed him. When he kissed me on that rooftop, I thought he felt the same. When he asked me to transfer schools with him, I said yes without hesitation.
Then I heard him bragging to his friends: "She'd save her first time for me. Hell, she'd still be thinking of me on her wedding night."
The bullying was staged. The kiss meant nothing. He just wanted me gone—so his new girl could feel more comfortable.
He thought I'd beg. He thought I'd cry. He thought I'd never actually leave.
I left the country.
And ran straight into his stepbrother.
I Died While They Threw Her a Party
Their real daughter came home. She'd only been back two years. That's all it took to erase twenty-four.
When kidnappers grabbed us, I used my body as a shield. They beat me until something inside me ruptured. I was dying from internal bleeding, but no one could tell.
My parents wouldn't even look at me. "This is your fault! None of this would've happened if it weren't for you!"
"Get downstairs and apologize to your sister. If you can't, pack your things and get out."
They threw her a party at a downtown hotel while I died alone in my room.
I thought they'd be relieved. Maybe even glad. I thought they'd just move on like I never existed.
But when they finally learned the truth, they fell apart.
Bury Me in His Regret
The kidnapper pressed the gun to my temple and asked, "Choose your wife or your sister-in-law?"
Zachary didn't hesitate. "Let Valerie go," he said.
He actually chose to save his sister-in-law! In that moment, even the baby in my belly seemed to stop kicking.
Later, they locked me in the basement. Drugs to delay labor were pumped into my veins over and over. Zachary wanted to save the "firstborn son" status for his sister-in-law's child.
When warm blood finally soaked through my skirt, I dialed the number I knew by heart with shaking hands.
"Zachary," I whispered into the phone, "our child... can't wait any longer."
The Kidney That Killed Me
A few months ago, my sister was hospitalized with kidney failure. The doctor said she needed a transplant. My family's first thought was me—the backup daughter they'd kept around all these years.
When my husband Allen took my hand with tears in his eyes and said, "Only you can save her," I agreed without hesitation.
When the doctor explained the surgical risks and potential complications, I smiled and nodded my understanding.
My parents said I'd finally learned what sisterly love meant.
Even Allen, who'd always been cold to me, held my hand gently and said, "The surgery's safe. You're so healthy, nothing will go wrong. When you recover, I'll take you to Hawaii."
But they don't know that no matter how the surgery goes, I won't be around to celebrate.
Because I just got my own test results—I have terminal brain cancer. I'm going to die anyway.
After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire's Arms
From first crush to wedding vows, George Capulet and I had been inseparable. But in our seventh year of marriage, he began an affair with his secretary.
On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.
