Introduction
But the very next morning, he brings her home. His mistress. And their secret son.
The betrayal cuts deeper than any pleasure ever could.
And this time, I'm done being his silent wife.
Chapter 1
Sienna‘s pov
Pain.
Pleasure.
That’s all I can feel right now.
Behind me, Harrison’s cock drives into me like a machine—hot, hard, relentless—each thrust forcing deeper until my body stops knowing where he ends and I begin.
“Make a sound.”
His fingers pry at my bitten lip while his other hand punishes my breast, squeezing hard enough to bruise.
“Ah—”
Even after five years of marriage, hearing my own moans still makes my face burn.
I tip my head back to meet his eyes, and what I see there is a storm—dark, hungry, ready to drown me in the kind of intimacy that never feels like love.
Before exhaustion takes me completely, his voice cuts through the haze, rough and low.
“Tomorrow’s banquet,” he says. “I’m bringing two people home.”
I don’t get to ask what he means. Before I can, exhaustion drags me under.
The next evening, I find out exactly what he meant.
My husband of five years, Harrison Blackwood, brings a woman and a child to our family dinner.
In front of everyone, he announced, “Adrian is my son.”
I stared at him. “Harrison, then what am I to you?”
Elena Whitmore—my half-sister, wearing that same innocent expression—spoke softly, like she was the wronged one. “Sienna, don’t worry. I’m not here to ruin your family. Once Adrian settles in, I’ll leave.”
My hands shook as I glared at Harrison. “Why does it have to be Elena?”
You married me because she went abroad. Now she’s back, and you bring her son home and announce it to the world. I, the legal wife, have become a joke.
Harrison didn’t answer. He turned to the butler. “Take Mrs. Blackwood home.”
Catherine Blackwood’s face went cold. “Harrison, what are you doing? Today is your grandfather’s birthday. Are you trying to upset him?”
Harrison said nothing, only signaling Marcus Barnes to hand Catherine a document.
She read it, and her expression changed instantly. When she looked at me again, the warmth was gone.
“Sienna,” she said evenly, “it’s Arthur’s birthday. Don’t make things awkward for everyone. You and Harrison can discuss your issues at home. Besides, Harrison is the company’s heir, and Adrian is his son. Arthur will be happy to hear it.”
Her tone hardened. “And you’ve been married five years and still haven’t gotten pregnant. Adrian will be your son from now on. Be sensible.”
“Go home,” she finished. “Don’t make things difficult for everyone.”
Harrison never once looked back at me. I let out a hollow laugh.
Five years. I should’ve woken up long ago.
I left the Ancestral Manor and got into the car headed for the Blackwood Estate.
When I opened the door, the house felt unfamiliar. I’d decorated it myself, but every detail was chosen to fit Harrison’s preferences.
A sound came from behind me. I turned.
A secretary from Harrison’s office stood at the doorway with a check. “Mrs. Blackwood. This is compensation from Mr. Blackwood.”
Two million dollars.
I laughed through tears because I couldn’t refuse it—this month’s medical expenses for my mother, Nora Price, would swallow me whole without it. On my current income, I couldn’t afford her bills.
“Got it,” I said.
That night, close to midnight, Harrison came home—earlier than he ever did unless he wanted my body.
He tossed his jacket aside. “Adrian will move in tomorrow.”
His tone left no room for argument.
“I don’t agree.”
Harrison lifted his eyes, indifferent. “I wasn’t asking for your opinion.”
“Elena’s mother destroyed my family,” I snapped. “She’s the reason my mother’s been in a hospital bed for five years. And you want me to make room for Elena and your love child? What do you take me for?”
Harrison’s face turned cold. “Sienna, don’t forget—if Elena hadn’t gone abroad, I never would’ve touched you.”
“It was your fake pregnancy that caused the scandal,” he continued, voice flat, “and that’s why we got married. What, after five years, you’ve forgotten?”
He tossed the past out like trash, as if my dignity was nothing.
I looked straight at him. “Harrison. I want a divorce.”
He sneered. “Sienna, can you really let go?”
“Back then, you schemed for so long. You think you can walk away from everything now?”
Then his voice dropped, uglier. “Don’t make me lose even the little interest I still have in your body.”
He picked up his jacket and turned at the door. “You love money so much. If you want this lifestyle, raising Adrian should suit you perfectly.”
The door slammed behind him.
I grabbed a pillow and cried until my chest hurt.
At three in the morning, I called my best friend, Luna Reed.
She answered immediately. “Sienna? What happened?”
“I need a lawyer,” I said. “I want a divorce.”
A brief silence. Then: “She’s back, isn’t she?”
“He wants me to raise her son,” I whispered. “He wants me to live with Elena and Adrian.”
“He’s gone too far,” Luna snapped. “If it weren’t for that shameless mother and daughter smearing your mom’s reputation, you wouldn’t have been kicked out and buried in debt.”
“I’ll send you a lawyer’s contact right now,” she said. “You need to divorce him.”
“Thank you.”
After I hung up, I sat there until dawn, unable to sleep.
When I met Harrison, I was still Sienna Price, and my mother hadn’t been destroyed by that shock yet. Harrison was just an ordinary employee then.
I fell for him and chased him relentlessly.
Later, after I was thrown out of the Price family, I went to a bar to drink myself numb. Harrison was there, drinking alone. I sat beside him.
“Want to join me?” I asked.
He looked at me and kissed me.
A month later, I found out I was pregnant. That was when I learned who he really was: Harrison Blackwood, the heir.
He looked at me, cold and calculating, and said, “Let’s get married.”
We took a honeymoon, and for a few days I almost believed it was real.
Then we came home. Harrison received my medical report.
I wasn’t pregnant.
That same day, the photos from the bar were exposed, and overnight I became the scheming woman who faked a pregnancy to marry into the Blackwoods—Mrs. Blackwood in name only.
No matter how I explained, he didn’t believe me.
Eventually, we settled into a cold bargain: he took my body, I took his money, and I was never allowed to have his child.
Now Elena is back—the one he wanted all along—and this marriage is ending the way it began: with me as the punchline.
A knock came at the door.
I opened it, and my blood ran cold.
“Sienna,” Elena said, smiling, “long time no see. Harrison asked me to bring Adrian here. Is he not home?”

"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
