Introduction
"N-no." I answer weakly, and he moves even closer to my face, brushing his thumb over my cheek.
"Then why are you breathing so hard?" He smiles in a mischievous way, squeezing my thigh.
I close my eyes, leaning back and holding back a moan. I wanted much more than that. I would like to feel his mouth on mine immediately.
"Adam…" It's all I can say.
"Tell me what you want, Mia." He slides from my cheek to my lips.
"Kiss me… please." I almost whisper, fixed on his gaze.
Without delay, he does what I ask for gently and sweetly. He asks for entrance with his tongue, and I give it, feeling his mint taste. Our tongues fit perfectly, fast and fiery movements in a sensual game. He bites my lower lip carefully before pulling away and smiling.
"Mia, we're about to land." I feel a whisper in my ear.
My body shivers and my eyes open back to reality. I had dreamt about my best friend's dad.
Chapter 1
POV: Adam
I focus my eyes on Mia at the bar and realize she is even more attractive than I thought when I saw her through the windows of my house. I hadn't noticed her presence when I agreed to one of my employees push me into a dark corner during the party.
"I hope you'll like this." She says, taking my hand and placing it on her bare vulva.
I feel my member harden as I force myself to look at her again. It's wet, exactly how I like it. I slide my fingers around and hear her moans close to my lips. I slip my fingers inside while she unbuttons my pants, leaving her disoriented by pleasure.
I don't let her lean on the wall and hold her arms back with one hand, while positioning myself at her entrance with the other.
It's hot and not tight at all, I enter easily as I hear her moans intensify. I make the mistake of looking over at Mia and seeing her with a boy, swinging her legs and seeming too nervous.
"I'm sorry, we'll finish this another day." I say to the woman, while I adjust my clothes again and kiss her lips quickly. It was time for my daughter's best friend to finally meet me.
POV: Mia
The party room was crowded with people enjoying the loud music, with glasses filled with alcoholic drinks. From a bench in the drinks area, I watched Amy, my friend and host, having fun with a university boy. The celebration of her 20th birthday was the most talked about topic that week, so the fact that everything was going as planned reassured me, since Amy was nervous.
"Hey, want to dance?" Someone said, sliding their fingers around my wrist, completely uncovered for the first time, as I had tried to leave the coat aside.
"I'm fine here, thank you." I replied, meeting a pair of blue eyes that didn't seem familiar to me, as well as his blonde hair and handsome face, even though his features showed a certain frustration and anger.
"It would be nice if Amy noticed that I'm trying to impress you, don't make things difficult." He squeezed my wrist even harder, confessing something that is not rare for me.
Everyone sees me as the bridge between Amy and the guys.
"She would never want you for that. Let me go!" I ask, raising my voice.
"Let her go." A deep and authoritative voice sounds behind us.
Although reluctant, he removes his hand and turns towards the man. His honey-colored eyes are on me, and they are almost penetrating. The torso is manly and his jaw tightens as he clenches his fists. It's possible to notice that his black hair is starting to turn gray, indicating that he is around forty. Despite being twice my age, I still find myself watching his body too much, he is sexy, very much sexy.
"Well, what if I don't want to? Who are you to stop me? By the way, I had no idea that Amy invited elderly people to parties ..."
His gaze leaves my face to the body of the boy who would easily be defeated in a fight. He laughs ironically, licking his lips.
"You're right, she prefers to only invite idiots like you. You're lucky that tonight is very special for my daughter." He grabs the boy's arm and twists it, causing him to groan in pain, as he approaches his face.
"I own every inch of this space, so you will leave here and never look at her or my daughter again, otherwise, you will regret being born. I suggest this meeting stays between us." He lets go.
My eyes are fixed on my defender, he's angry and it makes him even more beautiful, although now I know he's my best friend's father, Adam Davis, owner of the most popular restaurant among the upper middle class. The boy is terrified, his demeanor changes and I see him shaking his hand with his drink, spilling the liquid right after. He avoids Adam and observes me for a while, analyzing every inch of my loose pants and white blouse.
"You should start covering your arms again." He says softly as he passes me to reach the exit.
I try to insult him as he walks away, but I feel my voice stuck in my throat. The air seems scarce, the space too small, and my mouth goes dry. My hands sweat and tremble, just like a few years ago, when anxiety attacks were more frequent.
I hear nothing around me. I run from the exit to the door of the mansion, on the other side of the garden, which is a considerable distance from the noisy celebration, although they are rare. I turn the doorknob, forgetting who Adam is, but remembering what Amy said earlier: "Make yourself at home! Don't worry if you need to come here to vomit or make out." That would be valid for any normal 20-year-old, but not for me.
Almost without realizing it, I close the door behind me, letting the tears flow and the bad memories take over me, trying to climb the stairs unsuccessfully, leaving my body on the couch.
"It's necessary to focus on your breathing, exhale deeply, and release in the same way."
I'm not sure how much time has passed when his voice reaches me. I want to lift my face, but I don't want him to see me like this.
"Do what I'm asking you to do." He commands, without losing the calmness of his voice.
I follow his instructions, and gradually, my heart slows down, my breathing stabilizes, and my body relaxes.
"Feeling better?" He asks while I dry my face.
"Yes, thank you." I reply, finally looking at him.
"You must be Mia," He remarks, with a harsh tone, standing up and leading me to do the same.
"How do you know who I am?"
"The window, it always parks on the side street, facing my office, when it brings Amy. She talks much about you, it's not hard to make the connection." He explains, still observing me.
"Amy said she would stay here for the night, I need to go back to the party and finish some things, feel free as if you were in your own home."
"Okay, everything is fine, don't worry! I apologize for what just happened... I didn't mean to cause any trouble."
I feel your gaze lower to my wet shirt, and only now do I realize that my bra is visible through the fabric. I put my arms in front of me in a frustrated attempt to hide them.
"For now, just worry about changing your clothes." he say, looking back at my face and stepping away before he can see me blush.
"Mr. Davis." I call out, and he turn to face me.
"Please don't tell Amy, I don't want her to worry." The corners of your mouth lift into a smile.
"Adam is enough. Good night, Mia."

I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."

Invisible To Her Bully
My Possessive Alpha Twins For Mate
My drunk stepfather remained indifferent, his weight suffocating, making it hard to breathe as my heart raced.
Suddenly, the door slammed open, and two figures burst in.
"Get off her!" a deafening roar echoed.
I didn't expect the twin brothers who'd bullied me at school to come charging in like gods to save me.
After my grandmother passed, I had to move in with my mom and stepdad, who treated me like a servant. I prayed every day for my 18th birthday to come, so l could leave and escape this broken home.
However, on my first day at my new school, l encountered the legendary twins everyone feared.
To make matters worse, the Moon Goddess revealed they were both my mates!
After helping me out with my stepdad, my twin mate cornered me, played with my hair, and whispered possessively, "You belong to us, our little mate..."
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.

But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
