BEG ME FOR IT ( 18+)
"Why should I feel ashamed in your presence? After all, you're my future husband. You'll be hearing those sounds every day—maybe even several times a day. You might as well get used to it." I winked, watching his face twist in disgust.
"I need a shower," he muttered.
My gaze immediately dropped to the noticeable bulge in his pants.
"I can see why," I teased, laughing when his face turned red.
"This isn't because of you!" he snapped, flustered.
Chapter 1
BENSON'S POV
Run.
Just run, and don’t look behind you.
My breath quickened as I ran through the forest. Trees, bushes, shrubs, everything blurred past the edges of my vision as I jumped, ducked, and weaved beneath branches and fallen logs.
Hurt. Grief.
Everything pressed against my chest, making it hard to breathe. Overwhelming amounts of grief. My life felt like one big, twisted lie.
I didn’t know what to do, where to go, or how to make it stop. Right then, all I could do was run. Run from everything I had ever known, because I was too ashamed to face what had just happened. I had enough money to start my life somewhere else.
I had never run before not like this. But I couldn’t stay anymore. For my entire life, I had been tortured and bullied because of my scentless wolf and enough was enough.
I was born with a wolf who didn’t give off any scent, who couldn’t sense others, who couldn’t even warn me of danger. My wolf was silent. He had no connection to me, no strength, no guidance. And that made me worthless in the eyes of my pack.
No one wanted to be near me. No one trusted me. I had no way to protect myself, no way to show I was worthy. I had been an outcast from the start. My father, the gamma of my pack, and everyone had made sure I knew how useless I was, how I would never measure up.
But now, I couldn’t take it anymore. Now I was running because the weight of it all, years of torment, of being nothing had finally broken me. I had to get away. I couldn’t stay in a place where I was constantly reminded of my failures.
My wolf stumbled, tripping over an unseen log, and we crashed to the ground. The impact sent us rolling down a hill, painfully slamming into rocks, twigs, and underbrush as we went.
When we finally stopped, I felt my wolf retreat into the back of my mind. He didn’t sense me, no warning, no feeling of reassurance. Nothing. Just emptiness.
With a reluctant shift, I changed back to my human form.
Pain rushed through me in waves. Scratches, bruises, cuts, everything hurt. My breath came in jagged gasps, tears streaking down my face.
And then, a sharp pain pierced my skin, right between my shoulder and neck.
I instinctively reached for my mark, but of course, there was nothing there. No bond. No connection. No mate. It was just me, alone in a world that I didn’t belong in.
I was already in the years a werewolf is supposed to have a mate but I unfortunately didn't have one.
With a grunt of pain, I pushed myself up on trembling elbows, but the energy to stand just wasn’t there. Instead, I dragged myself toward the nearest tree, the cold ground biting into my skin. Every movement sent waves of agony through my body, and I winced at the deep ache in my chest.
I could feel it now, the absence of everything I had been missing. The silence in my soul. The emptiness that would never go away.
I had no mate. No bond. No one who could ever make me whole. Just a scentless wolf, and a life of running.
With the last strength I had in me, I began crawling to get myself the rugged clothes to cover my naked body.
I fumbled to get the ragged clothes on, the fabric rough against my skin as I worked to cover my exposed body. My fingers trembled, the cold seeping through me, but I forced myself to move. I couldn’t stop. Not yet.
But as I tugged the shirt over my head, the air around me shifted. It was subtle at first, an eerie quietness that made my skin prickle, the hairs on the back of my neck standing on end. Then came the footsteps. Heavy and deliberate.
I held my breath, straining to listen, my senses too dulled to pinpoint where they were coming from. But they were closing in, faster than I could process.
I stood up shakily, pressing my back against the rough tree bark. My heart hammered in my chest, but I was too tired to run again. Too weak to even think clearly. They were already here.
Two figures emerged from the shadows, tall and commanding. They didn’t just walk, they prowled, their every movement radiating power. Both were Alphas, their presence undeniable, even to someone like me, who had always been nothing. But these two… they were different. There was something ruthless in their eyes, something that chilled me to my core.
“Found you,” the first one said, his voice deep and commanding. His eyes, cold, silver-gray, locked onto mine like a predator sizing up its prey.
I swallowed hard, trying to steady my pulse. “Found me?, Who are you?” I rasped, my voice barely a whisper, trying to sound braver than I felt.
The second Alpha stepped forward, his face an unreadable mask, but there was a cruel edge to his smile. “We don’t need to introduce ourselves, pup,” he said, his tone laced with dark amusement. “We’ve been looking for you.”
I frowned, confusion swirling in my mind. “Looking for me?” I managed, trying to ignore the instinctual tremor in my chest. “I don’t even know you.”
The first Alpha’s lips curled into a wicked grin, stepping closer, his eyes narrowing as he looked down at me. “Oh, you’ll know us soon enough. You’re ours.”
I froze. The words echoed in my mind, but it didn’t make sense. Ours?
“You’re our mate,” the second Alpha said, his voice cold as ice. The way he said it was final, as if there was no room for debate. As if it were fact.
My heart hammered in my chest, my stomach dropping. There was no way. No way I could accept this.
A male mate fated to a male?.
The moon goddess has never done such a thing, its always a female and male and to make matters worse, these are two males.
I am not a gay, for heaven’s sake.
“No,” I forced out, my voice shaky but defiant. “I’m not your mate.”

I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."

Badass in Disguise
"Jade, I need to check your—" the nurse began.
"OUT!" I snarled with enough force that both women backed toward the door.
Once feared by Shadow Organization that drugged me to replicate my abilities into a more controllable version, I had escaped my restraints and detonated their entire facility, ready to die alongside my captors.
Instead, I woke up in a school infirmary with women arguing around me, their voices piercing my skull. My outburst froze them in shock—clearly they hadn't expected such a reaction. One woman threatened as she left, "We'll discuss this attitude when you get home."

I didn't survive as the world's deadliest assassin by allowing anyone to push me around. And I certainly won't start now.
