Introduction
A beautiful assassin is hired to kill the Devil.
She can be compared to a snow leopard. She's living, hunting, and killing alone.
Love is an unknown feeling for her. That feeling has been killed since she was a helpless little girl. But now she's not helpless anymore.
Now she's heartless, and nobody can hurt her anymore.
She's been building walls so big around her heart that now she's not sure that she even owns one.
But are those walls big and strong enough to keep the Devil away?
Chapter 1
ARTEMIS'S P.O.V.
“Good evening. What can I get you?” the waitress asks me with a polite smile, and I reciprocate.
“A bottle of Moet and two glasses, please.” She nods politely as she taps my order into the small device.
I am sitting in the VIP area of my new nightclub, APOLLI. I opened it two weeks ago, and so far, it’s going better than I expected.
Not many people know that I’m the owner, though. I don’t like the spotlights, and that’s because of my real job, but I don’t have a problem with standing in the shadows. I love my privacy. Besides, I might be a little bit asocial.
I have only two friends.
Hope lives in France, so we don’t meet often, maybe once or twice a year. Also, all she knows about me is that I am a successful businesswoman who owns two clubs and is involved in real estate.
She came home for the week, so tonight we decided to go out.
My second friend is Knox. He is my right-hand, best friend, and brother, not by blood but by circumstances and actions.
I trust him with my life, and he trusts me with his.
He knows everything about me. Well, except for one thing. One thing that nobody except me knows. Me and him. But I’m planning to take that secret with me to the grave.
I also have a twin sister, Apollinariya.
I know, the name is strange, scarce, and unique, but it suits her, just like my name suits me.
My father was Greek, and when we were born, he said that he named us by how we reacted to the outside world. He was into Greek Mythology and said that we remembered him of the twins of the Greek God, Zeus, and the Titan Goddess, Leto.
Artemis and Apollo.
I was loud, kicking, and screaming, and didn’t stop crying until they put my sister next to me, so he named me Artemis because she was also very protective and took a guardianship role over her brother’s life, and as I grew up, I did the same with my sister.
I often find myself in the real Artemis, not because I think I’m a Goddess like she was, but because of her skills.
Her domains include the moon, the hunt, archery, the wilderness, and wildlife.
I like the calmness of the night, the fresh air that darkness brings, the masterpiece we call the night sky, and the stars that are beautifully aligned in a random way around the stunning moon.
I also like knives.
I’m fascinated by bows and how the arrow flies so elegantly, capable of killing or rescuing. It always captivated me, so I pushed myself until I reached perfection, until I could hit the bullseye with my eyes closed.
And, last but not least, I love to hunt.
Artemis was known for nurturing and helping those in need. She was very protective of her family, just like I am, but she was also vicious. She could bring on plagues, disease, and, my favorite of them all, death.
But I, unlike Artemis, failed to protect my family, my other half, my better half. She has been in a coma for seven years due to a drunk driver who had two previous accidents but was not charged, so I took matters into my own hands. I tortured him for weeks, but... it didn’t wake my sister up.
“Hi, Cherrie. How are you? Did you miss me?” Hope's cheerful voice brings me back to Earth, and I take a deep breath and try to put a smile on my face.
“I picked you up yesterday from the airport and we spent the entire day together,” I say, amused, and she looks at me incredulously, throwing her blonde hair over her shoulder.
“Yes, Artemis, but it seems like forever…” She sighs dramatically, as if she’s reminiscing about something that happened years ago and is experiencing excruciating emotional pain.
She can be extremely dramatic.
I start laughing at her antics, and she chuckles, then comes and gives me a hug and a kiss on the cheek, which I happily reciprocate.
“You are insane.” Hope it’s like a teenager. She tries to see the best in people and believes in love at first sight. She is an incurable romantic, that’s why she moved to France, the country of love.
I, on the other hand… well, let’s say that I’m again, like Artemis, who carefully guarded her chastity, and anyone who attempted even to touch her experienced a violent death.
There is no such thing as love, and there is no way a stranger can love every flaw you have, and God knows I have more than I can count.
“Hey, look over there!” She points her finger behind me, and to shut her up, -because I know she won’t stop until I do it-, I glance briefly.
“Yes, a group of people having fun. Very interesting…” My voice comes out as I wanted. Sarcastic. One of my many talents.
“No, Art! Look at that guy; he doesn’t take his eyes off you. And damnnnn, he’s hot.” I don’t even bother looking again because I’m not interested in any kind of relationship. Not even friends. Two are more than enough.
And, I said, I’m not very social. Even though I see it as an asset, Hope and Knox contradict me.
“Of course… now let’s dance.” Hope rolls her eyes as she sees she can't change my mind.
“If you keep going like this, you’ll die alone.” She says as if it's a bad thing, making me frown.
“And what’s bad about that?” I ask, genuinely confused, and she rolls her eyes again, making me laugh.
I don’t wait for her to say anything else; instead, I stand up and start dancing. It’s a sensual song—one of the tracks from Fifty Shades of Grey, I put a spell on you. Yes, I was bored, so I watched the movie, loved the soundtracks, and ended up uploading all the songs.
I turn around and see the guy, whose eyes are still on me. I can’t see the color, but his gaze is intense, burning through me.
His clean-shaven face accentuates his sharp jawline, so much so that it makes me wonder if I could cut a diamond on it. His hair is thick and combed back, and I don’t know if it’s the dimmed light, but it’s such an intense shade of black that it looks surreal.
As for his body... I can’t see how tall he is, but I would say he’s taller than everyone at his table. He has broad shoulders, and I can see his muscles moving through his white, button-down shirt with elbow sleeves that show his strong as steel forearms, which are covered in tattoos, as he’s pouring himself a glass of whiskey.
Damn.
To be honest, his entire body is screaming Please fuck me. Maybe without the please. Just a command because he doesn't look at all submissive.
I’m a little surprised by my... assessment, or better said, by the fact that I took my time admiring a man, but he has that something that you don’t see very often.
I must admit that my experience in the sex area is not so vast, I had only one boyfriend, and that was because I wanted to see if I was utterly broken due to my past, but him, this dark stranger... his demeanor, it’s like he’s pulling me into some trance, and I wouldn’t mind extending my experience with him. Once. I don't like or need complications.
Without breaking the electric eye contact, I start to move my body in slow, sensual motions, lifting my hands into the air and letting them down slowly, gently brushing my neck with my fingertips, then sliding down to my ribs, lightly touching the sides of my breasts.
He is devouring me and stripping me with his eyes, and I don’t mind stripping for him one bit.

What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.

But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.

His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.

But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
Someone... please...
Angelina, the most powerful Alpha who conquered forty-nine packs, dies in a yacht explosion—only to wake up as Aria Sterling, a fifteen-year-old Omega's daughter who just died from bullying.
The original Aria's life was a nightmare. Humiliated when golden boy Kai Matthews posted her love letter online, then shoved to death by his girlfriend Bella Morrison. But that's not all her family faces:
"You got until Monday," the tattooed gangster sneered at Aria's mother. "Ten grand cash. Or I'm taking collateral—your kids' organs fetch top dollar. That pretty daughter of yours? She could make us money another way too."
Now Angelina's lethal combat skills awaken in this fragile body. No more hiding. No more fear.
Armed with an Alpha's ruthlessness and a mysterious blood-red pendant, she'll dismantle everyone who hurt this family—one calculated move at a time.
The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."
Danielle Harris is the daughter of an overprotective police chief and has led a sheltered life. As a kindergarten teacher, she's as far removed from the world of Harleys and bikers as you could get, but when she's rescued by the sexy and dangerous Austin Carver, her life is changed forever.

Will Booker be able to find the source of the threat before it's too late?
Will Dani finally give her heart to a man who's everything she's been warned about?
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
Balance of Light and Shadow
