Introduction
Laura perceived a strong minty scent, and she followed the smell, only to find him. The guy, whose magazine littered the streets and the walls of the entire country, Drake Regale. Her wolf suddenly screamed the word, "Mate!"
But the moment he saw her, his facial expression changed to that of hatred.
At the same time, the smell of honey wafted her nostrils. Immediately, she turned around in the direction of the scent, only to find the most feared vampire king, Derek Jefferson. And her wolf yet again screamed “Mate!"
The vampire king glared at her, and his hands instantly formed a fist like he was going to pounce on her any minute.

Derek Jefferson (1000) A ruthless vampire king, who drinks blood for a living. He hates the werewolves and never hesitates to suck their blood until they perish. Not only that, but he was also from the origin of soul vampires.

Chapter 1
Prologue
In ancient times when vampires, werewolves, and demons weren't living in communion with each other, there were constant battles for power and authority to rule.
But the worse battle was the one between the vampires and werewolves. The vampires strived for the power to rule over the world, and so also were the werewolves.
The demons were more like the neutral party among these other races, the reason being that they are not a partial race. This rule has been placed ever since the beginning of time.
The battle and enmity between the vampires and werewolves intensified, and it resulted in the vampires spilling the royal blood of the werewolf race, who was the only heir to Alpha king, and Luna queen who was also a witch.
The vampires by the order of their king launched an attack on the werewolves and wiped out almost half of the werewolves in the royal pack.
The Alpha king then was killed, leaving just the Luna and their infant. It so happens that the Queen became the only one fighting for the kingdom with her child in hand. She tried warding off the vampires by using her witch's magic, but she was quickly overpowered, her child taken away from her and killed in her very own eyes.
This made the queen feral and since she was a witch, she laid a curse on the two races, to never coexist, but rather kill themselves whenever they met. The curse stated that if there was to ever be a bond between the two races, or a child born between them, the child will bring about eternal destruction and doom to the world.
The witch took her life after placing the curse, which caused a great thunderstorm and a heavy downpour of rain, believed to have sealed the curse she laid.
Since then, there has been no moment of peace between the two races. It was no longer just a fight to rule, it was the hatred that has been sealed in the form of a curse.
After some thousand years of enmity between the two races, it happened that the Alpha king secretly mated to a vampire slave whom his men had captured for fun.
The capture of females of both races has been tending for years. The two races hunted their females and when caught, they are forced to serve the royals, either as sex slaves or used for hard labor work.
When Alpha king, Stark Gregory, was born to lead his kingdom. He continued from where his father stopped by kidnapping young vampire females whom he used to satisfy his lust.
It was during those times, he met his mate, a beautiful vampire slave named, Samira. At first, they both denied the mate bond, knowing it will bring disaster among them two, but the mate bond was so strong that they couldn't resist and mated.
They kept their bond a secret until the vampire female became pregnant. Knowing he was expecting a child with the vampire, refused to abandon her, even when they knew the consequences will be dire.
In a long run, he made it known to his people about Samira was his mate. This caused a great uproar in his kingdom and beyond, owing to the great curse laid by his ancestor.
Stark refused to listen to anyone, and rather made Samira his Queen.
Soon after, they gave birth to a beautiful daughter named Laura.
Laura became the first and only child of the werewolf king.
No one dared to call her a princess, for they all thought she would bring disaster upon their kingdom.
Innocent Laura had to suffer at the hands of her pack. At school, she was avoided like a plague, never treated as the princess or her kingdom. No one was willing to speak to her, she was practically rejected by both vampires and werewolves, also tagged as a monster.
The Academy for the vampires was practically different from that of the werewolves, because the werewolves attend school by day, while the vampires attended at night.
These two races were like night and day, which never crossed parts. Only the demons had the free will to school wherever they wanted, for they were not a party of the feud between the two races.
Deep in this brutal enmity between both kinds, Laura suffered. But then, her parent's love and protection gave her all the protection she needed.
They promised things will get better for her with time, and encouraged her to not worry about the hate of the world, for there will come a time when she would have to make manifest her powers.
Her parents believed the moon goddess, wouldn't have made them mates if they were to suffer from the ancient witch's curse.
Knowing this, Laura lived with the hope that things will get better for her and that she would one day be accepted by the world.
But as the days went by, Laura saw every reason to believe that she would never be accepted in the world...............................................................................
Chapter 1
Laura
She peered at her torn uniform, hot tears ran down her cheeks. Staring at the cheers and laughter from her classmates made Laura break down into more tears.
"You should never have been born bastard daughter of a vampire!"
That was the class monitor, Brandon. The other kids all laughed wickedly at her, for what Brandon had done to her uniform.
"What a weakling, she cries just because her uniform was torn."
"Ha, ha, ha." Everyone in her class began laughing at her. Laura could no longer bear the bullying so she ran away from class.
While running away, she bumped into someone, she gazed up at whom she had bumped into, only to discover it was Xander, her worse nightmare, who happens to be the royal beta's son.
"So it's the stupid vampire princess."
Xander seemed to be looking around the hall of the school, Laura knew she was in deeper trouble because Xander only looked around when he was about to carry out his ruthless bullying.
Despite the warnings he got from his father, he never stopped what he did to her. He always made sounded a warning to Laura that if she ever dare complain about him to her father, he would make her life at school a living hell. At first, she didn't believe him and made a complaint about him.
It so happens that after he was reprimanded by his father, he came lashing out at Laura the next day. Ever since then, she never dared to tell on him again, not even her bullies from her class. She kept silent about everything she went through at school, as it was the only place they could bully her.
Xander walked closer to her, a glint in his eyes.
At this moment, Laura began shivering terribly.
"Show me your fangs, I want to see how they look."
"It must be looking hideous, ha ha ha."
"Silence Ray. Let our little princess show us what she's got."
"Open up, don't waste my time!"
Laura began to tremble in fear because Xander kept asking to see her fangs every year.
"Do you want me to open it up for you, huh!"
He thundered, and his green eyes quickly turned a light shade of blue.
"I'm not eighteen yet," she said in a little whisper.
That brought about a great silence. It seemed as though Xander was in thought. She dared not raise her gaze at him, out of fear.
He suddenly moved even closer to her, his breath fanning her face.
"So you are not eighteen yet, huh?"
He began to touch her hair gently like he actually cared about her, but within seconds, he pulled strongly at her hair, driving pains down to the roots of her hair follicles.
"Please let me go, Xander, you are hurting me."
She began to whimper silently, knowing she could not fight back. She had never fought before and never planned to, for she was afraid of what she will become if she ever lost her temper. She preferred to be bullied, and never fight back.
"Since there's still one more year until you become of age, then I will gladly wait to see the monster you will become."
He gave her a loud smack on the head, before walking out of sight with the entourage he always carried with him.
Laura's legs gave up the moment he left. She fell to the ground, with tears batting terribly at her lashes.

"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
