Chapter 1
Prologue
The night was young as the carriage halted in front of an exquisite building called The Maiden's Lair, a brothel for women. It is a house where men could visit male prostitutes. I eyed its exterior here inside the carriage I was riding at. I saw some female nobles entering that building with extravagant gowns.
"We have arrived, Lady Novalie." I nodded at Sharon's words.
Basil, the coachman, opened the carriage door and guided me down using the mountain steps. I arched my eyebrow at him before I rolled my eyes.
"Wait for me there until I finish my business here," I said unfriendly.
Basil nodded and bowed. "Yes, Luna. As you wish."
I took my strides towards the entrance as I bestowed my invitation to the doorman. I glanced at Sharon when the doorman glared at her. "She's with me," I said.
He nodded before he ushered me inside. I saw the woman in her Centenarian, shaking hands with the other fellow nobles. Then her eyes darted to me.
A small grin appeared on her lips as she approached me. "Well, well... Viscountess Westervelt, it has been a while," she greeted me.
I curtsied before her as I grinned. "Greetings to you, too, Marchioness Gelen Carrat. And I'd prefer to be called Viscountess Novalie Argerich," I said with politeness and bitterness. There was no way I would bear my scoundrel husband's surname, Westervelt. I prefer to use my maiden name.
The marchioness chuckled. "Of course, Viscountess Argerich." She winked. "So, what brings you here again in my den? It looks like Viscount Reginald doesn't know how to make you happy again." She grinned meaningfully.
"You bet." I scoffed, lifting my upper lip to form a smirk.
There was still one more reason why I kept on coming here. And yes, to find some men who could satisfy my happiness.
I glanced at the poster plastered on the wall before returning my attention to Marchioness Gelen as she ushered me to one of their private chambers. "You're commencing a slave auction for tonight?" I asked with interest.
"Hmm?" She bestowed me a teasing look. "Will you be interested in watching and participate in the auction, Viscountess Argerich?"
I silenced for a moment and thought of it. I could enjoy having men around me while watching the slave auction rather than staying only in the private chamber and enjoying some erotic nights with male prostitutes.
"Grant me a private seat and two males," I stated but I didn't answer her question.
I could almost see her eyes sparkling with gold coins before she nodded. "Of course. I can do that. And as for this lady you were with, shall I grant her a seat, too?"
"No," I said coldly. "She's only a thing, an assistant, must I say." Or rather, she was under Father's control. I almost rolled my eyes.
"How cold," she remarked and chuckled. "I shall tell my personnel for the private seat you wanted. Follow me." She winked at me and unfolded her fan after she bestowed us a masquerade mask and a paddled number for me which I will use later. She even wore her masquerade mask.
Though she didn't need to do that because a lot of nobles already knew that the Marquess and Marchioness Carrat owned two establishments that involved illegal human trafficking and prostitution. Maiden's Lair, a brothel for women, and Bachelor's Den, a brothel for men, are the names of their underground businesses. It was just that no one dared to report to the Alpha King that something was going illegal here because they also benefit here from fooling around.
If you are not with your fated mate because you were forced to marry one who isn't your mate after all because of having no noble status, many people came here to release their stress about their failing marriage.
We arrived in an enormous underground chamber that screamed an erotic and seductive atmosphere. The dim red light added more spice to the surroundings and a sensual melody was being played all over the chamber. I spotted some male prostitutes already serving their very best services for the ladies and women right here wearing masquerade masks. Some were already taking their drinks and giggling with the hot kisses on their necks.
My eyes darted to the platform filled with the auctioneer and a male slave was presented in the front. Some of the women here were taking a high toll to bid so they could have that male slave in their hands.
Every pack here in the Sowinski Kingdom didn't mind if a noble family had a slave under their care. As long as they abide by the rules of the Alpha, the pack's leader, they are still bound by it regardless of whether they were not a pack member.
I halted momentarily when I came to smell a faint alluring scent of woody musk fragrance around the place. I looked for where it came from but I couldn't find it.
"This way, lady noble."
I turned to see Marchioness Carrat gesturing for an empty seat in the middle. I went straight there and checked if I could see the view there.
It's actually not that bad. I could still see and hear what they were doing and saying. And this place gave me a little privacy for my little fun later.
"As for choosing your two men, would you like to come with me in the parlor room for a while?" she asked with a condescending smile.
I glanced at Sharon. "Stay here. I'll be right back." Sharon nodded and obeyed my command. Then I followed Marchioness Carrat after that.
The parlor room... It is a room filled with handsome and desirable male prostitutes. You get to choose who you want to fool around with for tonight.
It has the same interior design as the chamber where they drank and conducted an auction. The hallways were clad with carpeted red walls and wall lamps. Some intricate gold designs marked on the walls bestowed a sensual and arousal feeling.
"Pick your choices," she said when she showed me inside the parlor room.
All of the men here were bare-chested and half-naked with their trousers on. If I could surmise how many were here, it must probably be more than thirty men. More noble ladies customers were coming later so I am very sure all of these men would be busy later.
"That man." I pointed to the man with a bulk body and a low fade haircut for his black hair. He had a beard as well that added spice to him. He stepped forward and bowed before me. "Name," I ordered.
"My name is Jehan, my lady," he said politely.
I nodded my head and roamed around my eyes. "And you. Step forward." I was referring to the man with a muscled lean body and an undercut hairstyle for his dark blonde hair. "Name."
"Peru is my name, my lady," he said with a bow.
I nodded and looked at Marchioness Gelen, who had a teasing smile on her face. "I want them on my table." That's all I said before I returned to my seat.
"I have ordered your favorite drink, ale, Lady Novalie," Sharon said when I sat down and started untying the back of my gown to expose my neck and shoulders.
"Very well," I said coldly. My eyes landed on the five mugs of ale on the table. I landed my eyes on the platform where they announced the bidding and who won. "How many male slaves will they present tonight?" I asked her.
Before Sharon could answer, Jehan and Peru came to each my sides. I smirked and pulled their heads in the corners of my neck. I wanted their scents to linger around me so Reginald would know that I wasn't kidding and that I would fool around him under his watch.
It's a great night to argue and spout sneer remarks at him. I have a great marriage with that man.
"They said that there will be another ten more male slaves they are going to present, Lady Novalie," she answered.
I moaned as a response when Jehan licked my earlobe while Peru sucked my shoulder before he fell on his knees and lifted my gown skirt. I watched Peru with a smirk when he looked up at me and dove into the apex of my thighs. I released a moan again from that. Jehan took that as a chance to expose my breast and suck my nipple.
I sighed in contentment. Hoping that tonight, Reginald would decide to divorce our marriage before he could ever find his mate. He couldn't just divorce me, no matter what. I kept pursuing him, so I kept fooling around in this marriage and waited for him to explode from my actions that provoked him.
That bastard... I couldn't endure him even for just a second.
I was fine to execute my Luna duties than being a wife to a scoundrel husband who wasn't even my mate and who only cared for his noble status. He's more of a jerk that I always found annoying for my own good.
I enjoyed my night with these two men who kept giving me the pleasure I wanted, but I couldn't be satisfied just with them. It felt strange that I didn't find any excitement, but they were just a mere toy of mine, pleasuring their master. Even Reginald didn't make me feel pleasurable excitement whenever he forced me to fulfill my duty as his wife.
I sighed and got to smell a scent of a combination of cedarwood, pink pepper, and citrusy lemon. It was totally alluring and made my wolf feel giddy all of a sudden.
"Our very last male slave for tonight, our special final product with a natural physique body who can do the work in your household and even on one of the nights you crave. He came from a dishonored pack that was now dissolved and was taken over by the new Alpha. He is an Omega who will always obey his master."
