Introduction

Everyone laughed at me. They treated me like a joke and stole the only girl I ever loved — all because I was broke and invisible.
But now I have the Infinite Wealth System.
They humiliated me once.
This time, I'll make them pay — and build an empire while I'm at it.

Chapter 1

The professor's voice on corporate finance usually puts Ethan Blake to sleep in seconds.

Today, it didn't.

His phone buzzed hard in his pocket. He pulled it out quietly, but the professor's sharp eyes caught him immediately. The screen lit up with a new job alert from QuickTask Hub — the website where students hired him for small errands.

URGENT JOB – $2,000 – IMMEDIATE DELIVERY

Ethan's eyes widened. Two thousand dollars? Most of his gigs paid only fifty or a hundred bucks for grabbing coffee or delivering notes. This was life-changing money.

He thought of Mia Harper, his girlfriend. She had been dropping hints about a luxury designer bag for her birthday tonight. If he nailed this job, he could finally get her something nice and prove he wasn't just the broke guy everyone laughed at.

Without thinking twice, Ethan started packing his bag.

"Mr. Blake!" The professor's voice cut through the lecture hall like thunder. "Where exactly do you think you're going?"

Every head in the room turned toward him. Ethan froze, backpack half on his shoulder.

"I… I have an important job, sir," he said, his voice low.

Professor Albright let out a cold laugh. "A job? You mean running around campus like a delivery boy? You're in university, Mr. Blake, not playing courier service!"

Snickers spread across the class. Ethan felt his face burn with embarrassment.

"It's urgent," Ethan tried again.

"Urgent?" The professor leaned forward, eyes hard. "More urgent than your future? You're already struggling in this class because you're too busy chasing pennies instead of focusing on your studies. Keep this up and you won't even be allowed in my lectures anymore."

Ethan swallowed hard. "I understand, sir."

But he didn't stop. He turned and walked out anyway, heart racing with desperation.

Outside, the cool air hit his face. He checked the address: a high-end jewelry store downtown, twenty minutes away. Ethan started running.

He arrived sweaty and out of breath. The polished store smelled of expensive perfume. The sales assistant looked him up and down, clearly judging his old t-shirt and faded jeans.

"I'm here for a pickup," Ethan said, showing the reference number.

The assistant returned with a small velvet box. Ethan took it carefully.

Just as he was about to leave, his phone buzzed again.

New instructions: One more stop at Costume Corner on Elm Street. Total pay now $3,000. Final delivery must be made while wearing the provided clown costume.

Ethan stared at the message. A clown costume? Rich kids loved humiliating him — he had done silly tasks before, but this was next level.

Still… three thousand dollars.

He clenched his jaw and headed to the costume shop. Inside, he found a bright red-and-yellow clown suit with oversized shoes and a polka-dot hat. He pulled it over his clothes without even using the changing room. The fabric felt cheap and itchy.

He looked in the cracked mirror. A sad, broke clown stared back.

Ethan grabbed the jewelry box and the second wrapped gift, then started the awkward walk back to campus.

People pointed and laughed along the way.

"Look at the clown!"

"Hey, the loser finally found his real job!"

High school kids pulled out their phones, snapping photos and giggling. Ethan kept his head down and focused on the money. Three thousand dollars could change everything.

He pushed open the doors to the main lecture hall. The moment his big clown shoes squeaked on the floor, the entire hallway went quiet… then exploded with laughter.

Students clutched their stomachs. Paper planes and empty cans flew at him. Someone threw a half-eaten sandwich that landed at his feet.

"It's Ethan the clown!"

"He actually looks perfect like that!"

The laughter grew louder as he walked toward his classroom. His face burned, but he kept moving.

Inside the lecture hall, the noise hit him like a wave. He ignored it and checked his phone for the final instruction.

Final step: Open the velvet box, read the name on the card out loud, and deliver the gift to that person.

Ethan's hands shook as he opened the box and pulled out the elegant card. His eyes scanned the name.

The world stopped.

"Mia… Harper," he whispered.

The hall fell into sudden, shocked silence. Every head turned — not to Ethan, but to the third row where Mia was sitting.

Mia's face went pale. She slowly stood up and walked down the aisle toward him, eyes locked on the velvet box, completely ignoring Ethan.

"Mia, wait!" Ethan pleaded, reaching for her arm. "Who sent this? What's going on?"

She pulled away sharply, as if his touch disgusted her. Without a word, she took the box from his hands and opened it.

A sparkling diamond necklace gleamed under the lights. Gasps filled the room.

Before Ethan could react, a tall, confident guy rose from the front row — Lucas Harrington, the second-generation rich heir everyone on campus admired and feared.

Lucas walked straight to Mia with a smug smile. He dropped to one knee in the middle of the aisle, holding the necklace like a trophy.

"Mia," he said loudly, his voice smooth and full of confidence, "this is for you. Will you do me the honor of becoming my girlfriend?"

The words hit Ethan like a slap. He stood frozen in his ridiculous clown suit, heart shattering as the entire hall waited for Mia's answer.

Then his phone screen lit up on its own.

Not a notification. Not a QuickTask alert. Something else entirely.

The screen pulsed — once, twice — with a faint silver glow that had nothing to do with any app he'd ever downloaded. Text appeared slowly, like it was being typed by invisible hands:

WEALTH GENERATION SYSTEM

Initializing host detection…

Host identified: Ethan Blake

Status: Activated

Ethan blinked. Looked around. Nobody else was reacting. Nobody else could see it.

The text continued, filling his screen line by line:

Scanning host financial profile…

Current net worth: $2,487.12

Current emotional state: Betrayal detected. Humiliation detected.

Condition met. System fully unlocked

CONGRATULATIONS, HOST.

Welcome to the Wealth Generation System.

Your poverty ends today.

"What—" Ethan's voice came out as a breath. His fingers tightened around the phone. "What is this?"

Nobody heard him. The hall was still buzzing — Lucas, Mia, the necklace, the spectacle. The whole room was wrapped up in someone else's love story.

Ethan's eyes dropped back to the screen.

One final line appeared. Bold. Impossible to miss.

INITIAL GRANT DEPOSITED.

Amount: $1,000,000.00

Check your bank account, host. This is real.

His hands were shaking so badly he almost dropped the phone. He switched apps. Opened his bank. Typed his password twice because his fingers wouldn't cooperate.

The balance loaded.

$1,002,487.12.

One. Million. Dollars.

Ethan stood completely still in his polka-dot clown suit, tears drying on his face, while the girl he loved kissed another man ten feet away — and his bank account said he was a millionaire.

A sound rose in his throat. Not a cry. Something harder than that.

The System's text was still glowing on his screen, waiting.

He looked at it one more time. Then he looked at Mia. Then at Lucas.

Then he smiled — slow, quiet, and cold.

Everything just changed.

"Yes, Alpha," I pulled my dress over my body, it dropped over my head and fell to the ground behind me. I was left in nothing but my matching bra and thong. My hands covered my chest on reflex.
"Let me see."
My hands dropped to my sides.
I lowered myself into his lap, facing him. His eyes peered into mine, and I could feel his hot breath fan my face. His dick responded to all my moves, hardening against my now-moist vagina. I swallowed hard, allowing my lips to part in a ragged breath. His hands trailed up to my waist.
"No touching."

Instead, my fingers curled into his shirt, clutching the fabric as though it was my only anchor. Something in him snapped—something he had been holding back for too long. His mouth found mine in a kiss that wasn't tender, but hungry, desperate.
I gasped into him, his hand sliding up to cup my jaw, holding me as if afraid I might vanish.

My head fell back, a soft sound escaping me as his fingers memorized my waist. My anger melted beneath his desperation.
"James..." I whispered, more plea than protest.
His hand caught mine, fingers threading together tightly. "I'll bring him back. I swear it. Just... don't turn away from me. Please."
The word please—low, ragged, almost broken—undid me more than anything else could have.
