Chapter 1
Renee
The world seemed to fall silent, the only sound the distant crash of waves behind us. His lips were warm, insistent, tasting faintly of salt and the sweetness that had been on his food. Beneath that there was something deeper, something that unraveled the tight knots I’d been holding inside for far too long. My hands gripped at his shoulders instinctively as heat flooded through me, burning away every coherent thought. The mostly finished meal forgotten. I didn't hear it fall, so I guessed he grabbed it and set it aside.
Then, we were both moving like a floodgate had been broken. The kiss deepened, turning wild and desperate before I even realized how far we were spiraling. Dominic’s hands slid down my back, pulling me tightly against him, and I let him. My fingers curled into his wet hair, drawing him closer, and my body practically melted under his touch. Every brush of his lips, every hungry sweep of his tongue made my head spin, made my pulse race.
He turned us to stretch out on the lounger, deepening the kiss still, trailing his hands with such exquisite gentleness and promise that I shivered. Fear and excitement twisted through me.
I didn’t want to stop. Goddess help me, I didn’t want to stop. In my past life, I didn't have much of a sex drive with Tyler. It always felt like just something I had to do, but this… This was explosive and wild. I loved it. I wanted more of it. I wanted more. I dug my nails into his shoulders, wondering if I could rip right through his wet suit.
His mouth trailed along my jaw, down my throat, and I gasped, gripping his shoulders as his hands found my hips, holding me like he was afraid I might vanish.
It was dangerous. Stupid. But it felt so good.
He rolled over me, pressing me into the lounger. My heels sinking into the knitted fabric of the lounger as he groaned into my mouth and rolled his hips against mine like he might claim me right there, beneath the open sky, barely hidden from whoever might walk by. My breath came in sharp bursts, and I felt him tense. His restraint slipping away like sand. My sense going just as fast.
Then voices carried down from the nearby walking paths, faint but enough to snap both of us back into reality. Footsteps. Laughter. Kids. Getting closer.
Dominic stilled, his chest heaving as he held himself over me, caging me with his arms. I swallowed hard, my face flushed and burning. He didn’t move for a long second, then finally exhaled and straightened. Laughing to himself and shaking his head.
"Fuck…"
"I… Well…Dominic…"
“We… should stop,” he said, voice rough. His thumb brushed over my swollen lower lip, lingering there for a moment before he pulled back fully. “For now.”
For now? The promise in his eyes said that he'd be picking up sooner rather than later. I shivered at the thought and nodded, breathless, not trusting myself to speak. My whole body shook slightly as I shifted my weight, trying to remember how to sit up. He lifted me up and set my bowl in my hands as a pair of children rushed past us, screaming that they wanted to eat close to the sand.
Dominic offered a strained smile. “Have dinner with me?”
I blinked up at him, startled. “Dinner?”
“Just dinner,” he said, though he didn't sound convinced of that. “We’ll talk. There’s… a lot we should talk about.”
I hesitated for a moment longer, still trying to catch my breath and suppress the heat radiating through me, but eventually nodded. “Alright. Dinner.”
He exhaled, looking briefly relieved. “Good.” He smiled. "I hear… Mountainhowl seafood is the best on the continent."
My eyes widened. "I don't think… I've ever had much seafood."
He smiled. "Well, it'll be a new experience for both of us, won't it?"
I nodded, finishing eating. Dominic took our bowls and bade me goodbye as his watch chimed. We parted at the main walking path, my heart pounding as I thought back to what had just happened. I couldn't help but wonder what it would have been like to have only been in my bathing suit rather than the romper cover up I was wearing.
My skin still buzzed from where his hands had touched me, and I didn’t even want to think about how easily I would’ve let him go further if we hadn’t been interrupted. But before I could get much further, I nearly collided with Arielle. She had an open robe that looked more like a net as it hung from her shoulders. My jaw dropped seeing her in the bright coral bead bikini, covering nothing as she stood there in her sandals. She lowered her sunglasses with a cocked eyebrow, looking past me as a wicked grin spread across her face.
“Well, well,” she said, drawing out the words in a teasing sing-song. “You’ve been busy.”
I froze, my face turning hotter than the sun beating down on us. “I—I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Arielle’s grin widened as she slid her sunglasses back up.
“You really are going to have to work on your poker face. Wait until he's fingering you at the dinner table."
I gaped at her. “What--- he wouldn't --- you---"
She turned and laughed, sauntering away revealing that it was a thong bikini of all things.
"Come on then, dear. Let's find you something he can get off easily for dinner."
"Arielle!" I cried, not wanting to follow her, yet my feet followed all the same.
Hours later, I stood in front of the mirror for the fourth time, sighing as I studied my reflection. This was ridiculous.
First, I’d picked a pale blue dress: too formal. Then a white sundress: too casual? Then black: too somber. Arielle was lounging nearby, shaking her head.
"Just wear the dress I bought you."
"But--"
"You're at a beach resort, dear. A little skin is normal." A little, maybe, but it wasn't a little. At least not for me. "And don't even think about wearing that one piece. It does no scream date night."
I huffed and stomped into the bathroom to change. She'd… force a bikini top and separate bottoms on me. Not a thong or anything overly revealing, but I had never worn anything like it. And the soft rose-colored wrap dress had a deep plunge that wouldn't hide the fact that the only bra I was wearing was a bikini top.
I smoothed my hands down the fabric and forced a breath through my chest. My nerves were shot. This wasn’t even technically a date, but my heart wouldn’t stop pounding.
Arielle looked up, smirked and tossed me a tube of lipgloss.
"Have fund. He's here."
A knock came at the door, and I practically jumped out of my skin. Arielle shook her head, picking up her glass and sipping.
“Well,” she said, “get going, dear."
I shot her a glare, but my face was already heating as I headed for the door. I hesitated at the wrap hanging from the hook and a bawled up towel sailed through the air, nailing me right in the hand.
"Don't even think about it."
I scowled at her over my shoulder and opened the door. Dominic stood waiting on the front step, dressed in a simple white button-down rolled at the sleeves and linen slacks. The salt air tugged gently at his hair, and the moment our eyes met, the tension twisted tighter inside me.
“You look beautiful,” he said softly, almost cautiously.
“Thank you.” My voice came out more breathless than I wanted. “You look… nice too.”
He smiled at that, the corners of his eyes crinkling faintly. “Shall we?”
I nodded, letting him guide me away from the door. The walk to the restaurant wasn’t long, but my nerves only seemed to intensify as we went. I kept waiting for him to bring it up, the mess waiting for us in Brightclaw, or even the kiss from earlier, but he didn’t. Instead, he led me to a small, elegant restaurant right on the beach. The windows were wide open, letting the ocean breeze drift through, carrying the soft scent of salt and flowers. Lanterns glowed gently along the patio where we were seated, the sound of the waves whispering in the background.
For a few moments, neither of us spoke. The server came, and we ordered drinks, but even then, the conversation didn’t quite start. I found myself glancing at him, trying to read his expression.
Finally, Dominic broke the silence. “I didn’t want to talk tonight about Vivian. Or Tyler. Or the lawsuit.” His voice was quiet but firm.
I nodded my head, worrying my lip. "Okay…"
He reached across the table, threading out fingers together.
“I want to talk about you.”
My shoulders relaxed slightly. “Me?”
“Yes.” His gaze softened. “Your life. Your plans. What you want for yourself. Outside of all this… madness.”
I stared at him for a moment, surprised and relieved.
"Only… if we talk about you, too."
He smiled. "Deal."

After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire's Arms
On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."
Danielle Harris is the daughter of an overprotective police chief and has led a sheltered life. As a kindergarten teacher, she's as far removed from the world of Harleys and bikers as you could get, but when she's rescued by the sexy and dangerous Austin Carver, her life is changed forever.
Although Austin 'Booker' Carver is enamored by the innocent Dani, he tries to keep the police chief's daughter at arm's length. But when a threat is made from an unexpected source, he finds himself falling hard and fast for the only woman who can tame his wild heart.
Will Booker be able to find the source of the threat before it's too late?
Will Dani finally give her heart to a man who's everything she's been warned about?
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The War God Alpha's Arranged Bride
Yet Alexander made his decision clear to the world: “Evelyn is the only woman I will ever marry.”
Falling for my boyfriend's Navy brother
"What is wrong with me?
Why does being near him make my skin feel too tight, like I’m wearing a sweater two sizes too small?
It’s just newness, I tell myself firmly.
He’s my boyfirend’s brother.
This is Tyler’s family.
I’m not going to let one cold stare undo that.
**
As a ballet dancer, My life looks perfect—scholarship, starring role, sweet boyfriend Tyler. Until Tyler shows his true colors and his older brother, Asher, comes home.
Asher is a Navy veteran with battle scars and zero patience. He calls me "princess" like it's an insult. I can't stand him.
When My ankle injury forces her to recover at the family lake house, I‘m stuck with both brothers. What starts as mutual hatred slowly turns into something forbidden.
I'm falling for my boyfriend's brother.
**
I hate girls like her.
Entitled.
Delicate.
And still—
Still.
The image of her standing in the doorway, clutching her cardigan tighter around her narrow shoulders, trying to smile through the awkwardness, won’t leave me.
Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldn’t care.
I don’t care.
It’s not my problem if Tyler’s an idiot.
It’s not my business if some spoiled little princess has to walk home in the dark.
I’m not here to rescue anyone.
Especially not her.
Especially not someone like her.
She’s not my problem.
And I’ll make damn sure she never becomes one.
But when my eyes fell on her lips, I wanted her to be mine.
Invisible To Her Bully
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
My Possessive Alpha Twins For Mate
My drunk stepfather remained indifferent, his weight suffocating, making it hard to breathe as my heart raced.
Suddenly, the door slammed open, and two figures burst in.
"Get off her!" a deafening roar echoed.
I didn't expect the twin brothers who'd bullied me at school to come charging in like gods to save me.
After my grandmother passed, I had to move in with my mom and stepdad, who treated me like a servant. I prayed every day for my 18th birthday to come, so l could leave and escape this broken home.
However, on my first day at my new school, l encountered the legendary twins everyone feared.
To make matters worse, the Moon Goddess revealed they were both my mates!
After helping me out with my stepdad, my twin mate cornered me, played with my hair, and whispered possessively, "You belong to us, our little mate..."
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.
Especially - Rule Number One - No Mates
When Draven meets Domonic, he knows that she is his mate, but Draven has no idea what a mate is, only that she has fallen in love with a shifter. An Alpha that will break her heart to make her leave. Promising herself, she will never forgive him, she disappears.
But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
Balance of Light and Shadow
Little did she know how much both worlds need her to bring peace and true freedom.
Crowned by Fate
“She’d just be a Breeder, you would be the Luna. Once she’s pregnant, I wouldn’t touch her again.” my mate Leon’s jaw tightened.
I laughed, a bitter, broken sound.
“You’re unbelievable. I’d rather accept your rejection than live like that.”
As a girl without a wolf, I left my mate and my pack behind.
Among humans, I survived by becoming a master of the temporary: drifting job to job… until I became the best bartender in a dusty Texas town.
That’s where Alpha Adrian found me.
No one could resist the charming Adrian, and I joined his mysterious pack hidden deep in the desert.
The Alpha King Tournament, held once every four years, had begun. Over fifty packs from across North America were competing.
The werewolf world was on the verge of a revolution. That’s when I saw Leon again...
Torn between two Alphas, I had no idea that what awaited us wasn’t just a competition—but a series of brutal, unforgiving trials.
