His ink-black eyes, filled with three feet of ice and demonic fury, stared right into my soul. The man who had been declared braindead was awake.
"What did you do to me?" His voice was hoarse, his grip tightening around my throat. "Do you know who I am?"
I was trapped under the most dangerous man in the country, and I had just been caught trying to use him.

Victoria was pushed into the car and through the window, she saw her stepmother Julia embracing the real Griffin Family heiress, Erica, with a smug look on her face.
Today was victoria's wedding day, but she didn't even know who the groom was. All she knew was that he was a vegetable and had given the Griffin Family thirty million.
